Aliens and Superheroes and Vikings

My week was dominated by waiting in anticipation of this massive DC crossover, but I had plenty to watch before the episodes came out, including the return of Vikings!!!

Vikings Season 4 E11
The vikings are back!!!!!!! When we last left them, Ragnar had suffered a huge loss at the expense of Rollo in Paris and on his return to Kattegat, disappeared into the wilderness, leaving his 5 sons and Aslaug to rule in his stead. Now that he’s returned, he wants to go back to England and see his 6th son (Magnus) and decide what to do about the annihilated viking settlement. Bjorn wants to go to the Mediterranean and find riches there, and has Harald, Floki and Hvitserk with him and a new fleet of ships. Aslaug is staying to rule, with the help for Ubbe and Sigurd, which means that Ragnar goes to visit Lagertha and see if she will accompany him. Unfortunately, she refuses and they have a moment together before he leaves but man I love the two of them. The way Ragnar gets nervous around Lagertha and the air of confidence she has about herself is just so amazing, you know deep down that he regrets ever being with Aslaug and ruining their marriage, it breaks my heart. On the way back home, he tries to hang himself from a tree, but ravens break the rope so he gets back to Kattegat, and asks Ivar to accompany him to England, which he agrees to. I just hope they don’t go down The Walking Dead route and start focusing on too many people and places that it gets boring…

The Walking Dead E06
In this weeks episode, the writers have decided that we needed to know what happened to Tara and Heath on their mission to get more ammo. Tara and Heath are caught up in Walkers, Tara escapes and finds herself at a ocean-side settlement of women, escapes them and heads back to Alexandria but is hopeful Heath is still alive. This show is getting way too boring, and the fact that they spend one entire episode on a different character every week is making it slow and uninteresting. I’m waiting for the fast paced show that we’re used to, but it doesn’t look like things are going to be getting any better. Now that they’re stretching their limited screen-time to 5 different locations (Alexandria, Hilltop, Negan’s lair, the Kingdom and Oceanside), audiences are getting bored. tumblr sherlock bored david tennant 10th doctor

Once Upon a Time E09
Again, another boring week spent showcasing Belle and Rumple’s messed up relationship that no one really cares about – JUST TELL US WHO’S GOING TO KILL EMMA! Anyway, in the flashbacks, we find out that Rumple hates fairies because his mother was the Black Fairy who abandoned him as a baby. Back in Storeybrooke, Rumple tricks Belle into speeding up her pregnancy, so she ends up giving birth to Gideon at the end, but makes the Blue Fairy his Godmother, requesting her to take him far away from Rumple. Aladdin decides to become a genie in the lamp in order to save Agrabah (oh yea, completely forgot that his was going on) and Emma finds the sword that stabs her – but who actually does the deed???? Amongst all of this, Charming is still asleep and Regina stops the Evil Queen from killing Zelena. There are too many things going on and rather than focusing on one major storyline, I feel like the writers are doing too many things at once, trying to please everyone, and it’s just not working.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD E07
After the explosion in the lab which Eli causes, Fitz, Coulson and Robbie get trapped in another dimension, but May doesn’t lose faith, so asks Radcliffe to use the Book to open a portal and get them. Unfortunately, the book can control a human mind, so he introduces Aida and they use her to read the book and open a portal to get the three guys back. All goes well, until we see Aida start using the information she read to create a “brain”, and I can only assume that she’s starting to build one for herself – are we going to have another Ultron situation again? But while Robbie was in the other dimension, the Devil entered Mack and used him, but eventually Robbie and Daisy were able to put the Devil back in Robbie, but not before Mack and Robbie decide to work together to get their vengeance first. Oh and poor Simmons is taken to an unknown location and managed to free a man from his terragenesis case, I think he has something to do with the Senator that the Director keeps talking to, maybe it’s her brother???

Quantico E08
So this weeks class is about creating a cover for their Thanksgiving break, and all manage to do it except for Dayana, but she just doesn’t want to go see her family. We learn about Harry’s adoptive family and his mission with MI6, gathering contacts in America before Brexit goes through and they lose their connections. There’s also more about his lover/boyfriend Elliot – he may have been his adoptive brother? Not too sure about that though. Alex finds out that Shelby is no longer her handler and she’s being taken off the mission, but refuses to go and Ryan finally proposes to her as well. But here’s the interesting part – the AIC manages to get Leon, Ryan and Dayana all accomplices to a murder and have taped the whole thing, which means they now control them. In the flash forward part, Raina finds out about Nimah’s involvement with the Citizens Liberation Front. Miranda, Shelby and Alex are given 48 mins to unarm the biological weapon before the army calls a drone strike, but Alex realises that the bomb is to go off inside the building, so clearly there’s someone inside that is to be killed. But just as they are making their escape, Alex, Harry, Leon, Seb and Dayana are captured – and one of the masked men is Ryan. Ooooooohhhhhhh

Supergirl E08
Cadmus decides to eliminate as many aliens as possible because they’ve just had enough, so deploy a gas bomb in the alien bar, just missing Mon-El as he leaves and follows Hank out of the bar. He gets some of the gas and collapses, and Alex’s mum comes to the rescue. She also figures out that Cadmus needs a device to help them launch the gas into the atmosphere so Supergirl gives Lena a visit, asking her to help, but she doesn’t believe her that her mother is evil and doesn’t help. So we end up at the mid-season finale, Lena has given her mother the device and the gas-bomb is deployed, but J’onn and Supergirl arrive. Supergirl takes on the rocket launcher while J’onn embraces his new/transforming White Martian body to fight Hank and while he defeats him, the bomb goes off… but nothing. Turns out that Miss Lena Luthor is still good despite her terrible family and switched out the devices, and called the police, getting her mother arrested and ending Cadmus’ projects. All in all, the episode and arc ended well for the year, Alex comes out to her mum and Maggie tells her she wants them to be together, Mon-El kisses Kara but then denies remembering it… and Barry and Cisco come to fetch Kara and take her to their Earth!

The Flash E08 / Arrow E08 / Legends of Tomorrow E07 crossover
Ok, I’m not going to go into the absolutely details of the crossover because it would take me forever, but I really liked it. There were some parts which I didn’t like and some that I really did, but that always happens. The story is fairly simple – Barry comes across a spaceship with “Dominators” who had once come in 1951, killed a lot of people and them disappeared. They’ve now come back because the threat of metas on Earth is increasing since Flashpoint and they want Barry to surrender or they’ll start eliminating metas worldwide. So he gets the help of Team Arrow, Team Legends and Supergirl to help get rid of them. Of course things don’t go to plan. Stein and Jax tell Barry about their cryptic message from the future, and Barry tells everyone about Flashpoint – John’s daughter no longer existing, Caitlin’s powers and Stein finds out his new timeline resulted in a daughter. The team gets over their issues, and with a bit of time travel and team work, they manage to get rid of the aliens and return everyone to their appropriate Earth/cities/time machines. So things that I liked: although some parts got pretty heavy, Barry, Felicity and Kara managed to keep the quirkiness and humour up. You also got to see a deeper side to Oli and his relationship with Barry and we also get to see everyone’s relationships build. Cisco realises that Barry only did what he can after Flashpoint and forgives him for what happened. Things I didn’t like – the middle Arrow episode. I can see why they did what they did, it was the 100th episode and they brought back characters that had left/died (Moira, Tommy, Roy, Laurel) but there was a serious lack of cross-over material in the episode, which was really disappointing. The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow episodes had more cast members in it and were much more enjoyable, but I guess they did need some depth, and that’s when Arrow came in.

NCIS: LA E10 – the team finds out that the woman who was hitting on Granger at a bar is involved in their case with the mole in NCIS.

New Girl E08 – Jess becomes the principal of her school and Nick gets a tattoo as a  Cece and Schmidt’s wedding present.

The Big Bang Theory E10 – Sheldon and Leonard fight over splitting their possessions, Stuart and Raj fight over taking care of Howard and Bernie and then Bernie goes into labour!!!!

Supernatural E07 – Lucifer uses his rockstar fame to get more followers (for fun) but is stopped by Sam, Dean, Crowley and Cas so leaves his decaying vessel in search for a new one.

Nice and Simple

This’ll be a nice and short post because thanks to Thanksgiving in the US of A, most of the shows decided to have a little hiatus 🙂

The Walking Dead E05
We finally find out what happens to Maggie and Sasha! They make it to Hilltop and make sure Maggie is safe with her baby, as well as visit the graves of Glenn and Abe. The head of Hilltop (Gregory)  wants them gone before the Saviours find out they’re there, but Jesus manages to delay him before he turns them over. So with Maggie and Sasha safe, Sasha asks Jesus to find out there Negan’s lair is, so he hops into one of the Saviours trucks as they leave the Hilltop with half of their possessions. Meanwhile, Enid decides she needs to go find Maggie and Carl decides to help her get there, all the while with the ulterior motive of trying to find Negan to kill him. They manage to get Enid to Maggie, but Carl is determined to get to Negan too (despite Enid’s protests and my screams at the TV) and hops in the Saviours truck – the same one with Jesus.

Supergirl E07
So there was a simple list of things that happened this week, though I reckon half of it didn’t matter because even the writers glossed over it:

  1. There’s a copy cat Guardian out there, killing all the bad-guys that the real Guardian is leaving for the authorities to catch, so Winn and Jimmy do something about it. Also, Alex finds out Jimmy is The Guardian.
  2. Cadmus contacts Supergirl and tells her that they have Mon-El and she has to come to them to free him. She also finds out that Hank Henshaw (the man J’onn is impersonating) is alive but has been altered to be Cyborg Superman, an enhanced human with Supergirl-level powers. She depletes her powers to save Mon-El, and they take a vial of her blood but shortly after, Jeremiah (Kara’s adoptive father) helps them escape. Unfortunately, by the time Supergirl tells the DEO and Alex comes to save him, Cadmus have moved their operations elsewhere. Hank then takes Kara’s blood to a Fortress of Solitude (though I have no idea where or who’s it is) and gets information from the system on “Medusa”.
  3. J’onn starts having visions or white Martians and his dead family and when he realises that his cells are morphing into something else, he goes and has a chat to his new White Martian friend, M’gann. Obviously, he’s a little pissed off and they fight, but J’onn wins and keeps M’gann in a cell, while she tells him that he’ll slowly turn into a White Martian now that her blood was in him :/

The Flash E07
Oh Barry, you’re so cute and sweet and you mean well, but damn you really messed things up when you decided to save your mum. And then un-save her. In order to save Barry from Savitar, Caitlin has to use her powers and starts unleashing Killer Frost, who wants to go find alchemy and get him to change her back. She ends up kidnapping Julian in the process, but everything ends find when Barry convinces her inner Caitlin to come out and take control over Killer Frost. But while lovely Killer Frost is on her mission to save herself, she tells Cisco that the reason Dante is dead is because of Flashpoint, and at this point, it doesn’t appear that Cisco will ever forgive Barry for this. Meanwhile, Joe decides to break Wally out of his cocoon too early, so his mind and body are working at different speeds, but Caitlin manages to give him a serum to get everything working again – and turn Wally into Kid Flash 😉 Now here’s the biggy. Barry goes to see Julian post-kidnapping and convince him not to tell the cops that it was Caitlin. In return for his silence, Julian tells Barry that he’s not fit for a CSI and makes him resign! Dick move, mate. BUT THEN – Julian hears a voice, and he runs to his apartment and takes out his Alchemy mask – JULIAN IS ALCHEMY AND SAVITAR RULES HIM! I had a feeling this was the case from the beginning, but it was still a bit of a shock.

New Girl E07 – The last Thanksgiving in the loft with the gang, plus Robbie and Schmidt’s dad and it’s chaotic as usual.

NCIS: LA E09 – G’s dad is involved in a case and learns that he has a half-sister and a nephew and Kensi has been improving so that she is able to walk now, but still has some issues with her fine motor skills.

NCIS E08 – We get to meet Bishops 3 older brothers and find out that she is now dating Qasim, an NCIS translator, cuteeeeeee 🙂

Next weeks, gonna get hectic – see you soon!

Gaaaaaaaaasp

I don’t have any introduction this week, because I need to get right into it, some of the episodes were soooooo good!!!!

How to Get Away with Murder E09
Look away now if you don’t want any spoilers, because I ain’t holding back. Are you ready?…friends shocked monica monica geller gaspIT WAS WES! WES IS THE ONE UNDER THE SHEET. HE’S THE ONE THAT DIES IN THE HOUSE FIRE, HE’S DEAD OH MY GAWD. How can they do that?! It’s Wes, the most important person in the show, the entire show is based around him and how he gets into the Keating 5! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH. Oh and damn the writers who make it look like it was Nate in the house. WHYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! Ok, I’ll calm down and explain:

After Bonnie manages to stop Frank from killing himself for Annalise and Annalise’s class all manage to pass her midterm exam, everyone parties. Kind of. Asher tells Michaela about her mum visiting, Asher gets drunk after, Connor let’s something slip about the bonfire night so Oli investigates, and Connor has sex with Thomas. Annalise realises that the DA’s office is investigating her using Nate so he goes home and breaks her sobriety. And in true AK fashion, she destroys every piece of evidence in her house and ends up at Bonnie’s house who takes care of her. Now, while Annalise is passed out, Bonnie tells Frank to take care of things and take the fall for Annalise. And while the other 4 are partying and Annalise is drunk, Wes’ lawyer tells him the police want him to come in to the office for something, but then they realise that they’re after Annalise. Wes fires the lawyer and that’s when we see him demand full blanket immunity for ratting out Annalise. Nate sees Wes in interrogation and realises that the DA’s office used him to get to Annalise, so he goes to her place, only to see it trashed (at this point you’re like, oh shit, he’s the dead man). Annalise starts calling the Keating 5 back to her house, Wes leaves the precinct undetected, and Laurel enters the house at the same time. Then KABOOM. House up in flames. Fast forward to everyone in the hospital, Annalise in jail and Nate walking into the morgue to see the body, who turns out to be Wes. Bonnie simultaneously tells the Asher, Connor and Michaela while Laurel and Meggy find out Wes’ death by the breaking news bulletin. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment sad upset crying sarah michelle gellarAnd this is where the writers really mess you up. Frank calls Bonnie while outside the burning house and Bonnie tells him that Laurel is pregnant – is thebaby his or Wes’? And did he blow up the house??? And the big one – Nate reveals that Wes wasn’t killed by the explosion or the fire, he was killed before the house had gone up. SO WHO DID IT?! Unfortunately, the writers are cruel cruel people because that was the mid-season finale and we now have to wait till the middle of January for their return 😦 HULU tv abc viola davis how to get away with murder

Quantico E07
Look, I like this show. Season 2 hasn’t been as gripping as the first season, but what can you do when a show is focused around FBI agents… that aren’t really in the FBI anymore. Anyway, in this weeks ep, our CIA recruits get a chance to use enhanced interrogation techniques on Owen to get his aliases name out of him, and everyone truly gets to see how low they’re willing to go to get an answer out of him. Dayana reveals a bit about herself in Harare when she says that the only way they’re going to break Owen is to hurt Lydia, and that’s exactly what they do. Meanwhile, while all of this is happening, Alex manages to get into Owen’s house (on Miranda’s orders) and finds mobile phones and a laptop in a hidden compartment of his house, but narrowly escapes with no evidence after Harry helps her out. Oh, Sebastian finally comes to terms with his feelings for Harry, Shelby finally gets a cover to find out more about Leon and Nimah, Ryan and Shelby start having meetings without Alex, something she is not happy about. And the big one – Ryan wakes up in the middle of a road with a phone, which he answers and the voice saying that he’s been selected :/
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert wtf scared omg confusedBack in the present, Miranda manages to plant her mobile phone in her boyfriends bag to frame him when Shelby tells her Alex told her part of the number. Alex gets caught and they interrogate her to find out where the drives are but they don’t get anything out of her until they almost paralyses Dayana. But thankfully, the terrorists are interrupted when they turn off their scramblers and allow communication to open up (to try and get to Lydia) and Harry, Seb and Leon rescue Alex and Dayana.

Once Upon a Time E08
While Snow and Charming start dealing with not being awake with each other, Regina and Emma try to trap the Evil Queen in the mirror world, but fail and end up getting stuck themselves. Only when Henry faces the Evil Queen, he realises he has the strength to defeat her and free his real mums. Meanwhile, Zelena and Belle use Aladdin to steal the Scorcerors wand from Rumple, but they fail too, and Rumple ends up putting a location bracelet on Belle and realises that after his previous deal with Zelena, he can’t hurt her. So who does he turn to to take care of Zelena? His love-thing, the Evil Queen. I keep telling myself that things can’t get any more complication and messed up, but they do.

The Walking Dead E04
Urgh Negan and his cronies. I hate them so much! And I hate what they’ve done to Rick. They’ve made him a snivelling, weak, shell of a man and I hate that. They’ve turned everyone in Alexandria from a functioning and cooperating group of people to these people that are so frightened of what could happen, they’re essentially slaves. And I don’t blame them, Negan is crazy and dangerous AF, but I just can’t wait to see them all fight back, but who knows if they ever will now. Negan comes to Alexandria and takes half of everything they own (beds, property, house hold items, medicines) but leaves them their food. And after an incident with the inventory, he takes all their guns and ammunition too, leaving them totally defenseless against an attack by walkers, let alone Negan’s men. Other than that, Darryl is brought along too and from what I’ve read in post-episode deconstructions, he was communicating with Rick while he was there, using morse code to reveal where he’s being held. So our friends are sans-guns, sans-Darryl, Morgan and Carol and have nothing going for them. Oh and Negan is going to come back and hopes they have something “interesting” for him. Lovely.

Supergirl E06
This week, in the adventures of Supergirl and her Superfriends, they deal with an alien parasite that can take the life and powers of people to power itself. Winn manages to finish Jimmy’s suit , who will now be called The Guardian, and Mon-El finds his inner hero so Supergirl finally has a few more friends to help her out. J’onn gets injured and Alex requests his “green martian friend” to help out and donate blood, and although she obliges, she’s very hesitant, maybe because she’s been LYING TO EVERYONE AND SHE’S ACTUALLY A WHITE MARTIAN! I dunno, maybe the blood transfusion will do something to J’onn? It doesn’t look good. But the main part of the episode was Kara and Alex’s relationship. Alex, with great difficulty, manages to come out to Kara, and after working through and discussing everything, she has her heart broken by Maggie who says she doesn’t want to be with someone who isn’t in the same place as her. Now two things: one, I can see Maggie’s point of view and I can understand Alex’s feelings, so no one is the good/bad guy in this. Secondly, I think that the way they dealt with Kara and Alex was the most realistic scene on television I have seen. Both parties were honest, hesitant but in the end, supportive and kind, which is exactly what more and more people need to see and be like when someone in their life opens up to them. They didn’t ignore the change in their relationship or the way Kara dealt with the news, but the outcome resulted in the sisters becoming closer than ever before – and it warmed my heart up so much.

The Flash E06
Oh boy, Team Flash deals with three separate issues all at once, I feel like they were getting tugged in all different directions:

  1. Cisco and Caitlin finally tell the rest of the team of her powers after he vibes them fighting as Killer Frost and Vibe. Best part: you can actually see Joe’s face go “oh shit, not another one, I swear these kids, I can’t take care of another one…”. Poor guy, started with Iris, pretty much adopted Barry, Wally shows up and then Cisco and Caitlin have tagged along as his extra kids.
  2. There’s a new meta called Shade that is basically a shadow and the team manage to catch him by putting a whole of lights on hi. Look I didn’t pay much attention to this, and it seems neither did the writers because we don’t even get told the name of the metahuman who turns into Shade.
  3. Wally starts having dreams about Kid Flash so Barry tells Iris, Joe and Wally about Flashpoint. But Wally starts getting pains in his stomach, plus visions and Alchemy calls to him so they use him as bait to get to Alchemy. But even when they capture Alchemy, he uses a pulse thing to hurt Barry and escapes, all the while another speedster called Savitar (who only Barry can see) attacks them. Still talking to Wally, Alchemy convinces him to touch some kind of orb thing which encases Wally in this cocoon-like thing.

Things are getting messy in the show, and why do they keep bringing in more speedsters?! As if we didn’t have enough in The Flash, Kid Flash, Jessie Quick, Reverse Flash, The Rival and now Savitar.

Arrow E07
There’s a new vigilante in town that’s taken over Team Arrow protective roles but also has them questioning whether they should take someone down that is helping them do their jobs. My mum and I think that the vigilante, who’s calling himself Vigilante, is none other that new cute-DA man, Adrian Chase, but we are yet to have our suspicions confirmed. Quentin talks to Thea about his drinking, blackouts and the throwing stars he found in his apartment, and she offers him love and support and advises him to go into rehab, which he does. Thea (thankfully) goes and tells Oli about Quentin’s tale of being framed and they realise that Prometheus must know that Oli is the Green Arrow – and this is when we find out that Evelyn has been working with Prometheus! WHAAAAAA? Oh and the flashbacks, Oli learns that that the Bratva have a deal in place with Kovar and all of his time being beaten and interrogated by Kovar was for nothing.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow E06
The team are back in the Wild West with Jonah Hex! A time pirate leaves behind some Dwarf Star detection technology in 1874, causing a time aberration when a local bad guy gets it and starts planning to create his own country Turnbull Country by blowing up the Dwarf Star and blocking the pass giving the US Army access to the Wild West. Eventually the team manage to stop this from becoming history and all is saved with a few hitches. Ray creates Nate a suit for when he becomes Steel. The Amulet that Darhk was giving to the Nazi’s is not in any research paper or book, it essentially doesn’t exist, causing some confusion. Oh and Martin starts having visions of a woman he once/has/could have loved – means someone’s messing with the timeline again and I can only assume the episode ends with a lead up to a 3 part crossover between Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and the Legends, because suddenly … “2016 needs our help”.

NCIS: LA E08 – Kensi uses the engagement ring as motivation to heal and get out of the hospital sooner.

NCIS E07 – Senior asks who on the team wants Tony’s old apartment and Torres wins the draw but he gives it to McGee for him and Delilah.

New Girl E06 – Jess tries and fails to start something with Robbie and Nick realises that Cece should start managing models rather than his bar.

Supernatural E06 – Jody is back, we meet a few other hunters at a funeral and Mary realises that although she’s out of place on Earth, she still wants to be with Sam and Dean and says no to Billy the Reaper, who’s ready to take her back to Heaven.

Another Season Comes to a Close

Alright guys, this is the last week with the last set of season finales. After this, it’s just going to be Game of Thrones and Bones for a while, with some other shows I’m watching (which I’ll keep you updated on) and then shows such as Suits, Halt and Catch Fire and Mr. Robot will start up again in a few weeks, around mid-July.

Game of Thrones E05
Hodor hodor, hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor hodor:
Translation: “Oh wow, this was a depressing week and you know exactly what I’m talking about:”

  • Castle Black: Littlefinger tries to apologise to Sansa and she completely OWNS him, making him realise what a colossal dick he is and tells him to leave her alone, refusing to take his help to take back the North. We also learn that Uncle Brandon has taken back River Run and has an army that can help Jon and Sansa, so their troupe head out of Castle Black to go to the other smaller houses of the North, ready to take on the Ramsay. Also, this happened, totally shipping it:
    Game of Thrones animated GIF
  • Braavos: Arya is told to kill a Lady Crane, a lady who works with a travelling play and does a play about the Rob Baratheon, Ned and the Lannisters. It’s very crude. We also learned a but more about the Faceless Men and the Many Faced God.
  • Iron Islands: Yara and Theon are defeated by Euron Greyjoy who admits to killing their father and King and says his aim is to marry Dany and take over the 7 Kingdoms. Once he becomes the new King, he orders a 1,000 new ships built for his fleet and heads after his niece and nephew to kill them, only to find that they have run away, hoorah! Can’t get them, evil uncle!
  • Dothraki Sea: Dany confronts Jorah but he says he’s leaving because of his Dragonscale. She then orders him to go find a cure and return to her, to be by her side as she rules the 7 Kingdoms. Mate, Jorah, I reckon that’s the closest you’re going to get to getting out of the friend-zone.
  • Meereen: Tyrion and Varys ask for the help of Kinvara, another Red Priestess from Volantis, to help Dany and let the people know that Dany is being lead by the Lord of Light. I’m entirely sure why Tyrion wants to do this, maybe it’s easier to tell the population that Dany is following a God rather than her own revenge?
  • Bran: We learn that it was Children of the Fores that first create the White Walkers by placing a piece of Dragon Glass (Maybe? I’m speculating…) into a man, in order to defeat the Men in the war. Bran then also is another vision (can’t call it a memory) where he sees an army of White Walkers and wights and one of the White Walkers touches his arm. The Raven is really freaked out and tells Bran that he has to leave :/ Ok now here it gets hectic. Bran is in a memory, watching Ned, Benjen and Hodor and back in the cave, the White Walkers and their army arrive, ready to kill. Meera tries to get Bran to wake up but he can’t and Hodor is freaking out and sitting in the corner, unable to help. So somehow, Bran (in his memory) hears Meera screaming at him and through past-Hodor, gets control of present-Hodor, and gets him to start fleeing with Bran in the cart. Unfortunately, the army is too strong and comes into the cave, killing Leaf and her fellow Children and Summer sacrifices himself to protect Bran (OMG NO NO THE WOLVES, WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE WOLVES?!). And here comes the hear break. Meera, Hodor and Bran escape through a back door, but in order to do so, Meera and Bran order Hodor to “hold the door”. This command kind of reverberates back to past-Hodor, who starts having a fit in Bran’s memory, slowing transforming “hold the door” to “hodor”. The last scene of the episode is beautiful, simple, loving and heroic Hodor, standing against the door, getting mauled to death by wights but allowing Bran to escape with his life. Rest in Peace Summer and Hodor.

The Flash E23 (Season Finale)
“OMG WHY BARRY?!” That was the last thing I said as this episode and you’ll find out why. Anyway, Zoom comes to Barry and tells him that he wants to race him to find out who’s the fastest man alive, but Team Flash realise that the reason he’s doing this is to siphon Barry’s power to start up a Magnatar, a device that can potentially destroy the multiverse and leave Earth as sole planet left in an infinite number of universes. Zoom clearly has some ego issues, but whatever. Barry is a little too emotional and angry after his Henry’s death, so they decide to lock him up with the rest of the metas and hatch a plan to use Caitlin to distract Zoom while Cisco opens up a breach and they push through Zoom. And all goes to plan, till Zoom takes Joe with him. Wally is furious with the team for not going back to get Joe from Earth-2 and frees Barry in order to help them. Meanwhile, we discover that the masked man held by Zoom is the real Jay Garrick, another Speedster from Earth-3. Anyway, Barry tells Zoom he’ll race Zoom, in exchange for Joe. They start their race, but half way through, Barry creates a time remnant to counteract the Magnatar’s power and does this, but dies while doing so. Meanwhile, Flash fights Zoom and just at the opportune moment, the Dementors ie. the Time Wraiths come and kill Zoom, leaving everyone safe and sound. Back in the lab, Harry manages to take the mask of Jay Garrick, who just happens to be Henry Allen’s doppleganger, and poor Barry can’t deal. But Jay has to get back to his Earth, and volunteers to drop Harry and Jesse back to their home so goodbyes all around. The episode ends Caitlin, Cisco, Wally, Iris and Barry with Joe having dinner and Barry tells Iris that he needs to take care of himself first before they do anything about “them”. Which is all fine and dandy, Iris agrees to wait because she loves him and then Barry does something stupid. He goes back in time. To his mothers death. And stops it so that his mum says alive and Reverse Flash dies. And a this point, I’m hurling abuses as the TV. Barry, what the hell! You KNOW that this doesn’t work, your mother is supposed to die, and now you’ve gone and messed everything up! I know losing your parents is hard but you’ve got them both justice and killed their murders, just move on with your life!!!!! Whatever happens next, you only have yourself to blame, you stupid stupid man. *End rant*snl saturday night live omg oh my god brie larson

Arrow E23 (Season Finale)
The ending for this season was kind of… meh, to be brutally honest. Once Darhk comes to Felicity’s apartment, he hurts Curtis and steals the laptop which controls Rubicon being offline and takes his daughter. They discover that Oli can’t beat Darhk and Darhk has set off 15,000 missiles to hit all over the world, the first to hit Star City in 45 mins. So the team get together, with Merlyn (he’s just a nosy guy that has all his remaining 5 fingers in all the pies, it’s so annoying), Felicity and Curtis manage to redirect all the nukes to outer space to blow up after Seldon sacrifices himself to give her the laptop and Oli gives a inspirational speech to Star City, telling them all they have to do is believe that they can beat this and carry on like the troopers they are. Then comes a massive street fight and the hope that the crowd gives Oli allows him to take on Darhk who’s powers aren’t strong enough and in the end, Oli does the only thing possible and stabs Darhk in the chest, killing him. I swear, if Oli had done the “hero” thing and let him go, I would have stopped watching right there. And now comes the meh part: Captain Lance is fired from the SCPD, Thea leaves to rethink her life, Diggle takes a break with his family but then joins the Navy and is deployed, Felicity stays where she is in Star City and Oli becomes the interim Star City Mayor. See what I mean? Meh. Everyone is alive (except Darhk), the world is safe and the team “appears” to be disbanded. One thing I can wish for next season though – the stupid flashbacks ending. God, they were a waste of screen time this season!reaction james marsden eh not impressed

Supernatural E23 (Season Finale)
Boy, that was an anti-climatic episode, especially for the last of the season! God is dying, the Sun is dying, Amara is getting stronger and the balance of the world is off, meaning that everyone is going to die, basically what happens at the end of every single season of this show. The team realise that the only way to destroy Amara is to create a bomb with Lightness, to defeat her Darkness and the bomb has to contain thousands of souls. Sam and Dean go and pick up some 100 ghosts from a mental asylum, and Billie the Reaper manages to fill the rest of the bomb with all the souls she’s reaped. The bomb is then placed into Dean where he’s told to get close to Amara and then set it off, killing both of them. Cue: sad goodbyes. And again, we knows he’s some how going to survive so why bother with this every season? Anyway, here’s the anti-climatic part: Dean manages to convince Amara to talk to Chuck and smooth things over, she does and then her and God leave for a nice family vacation, leaving Earth to return to normal. At this point, Amara thanks Dean and says “I want to give you what you gave to me”. Nek minnit, Dean is walking through a forest and comes across a woman. His mother. Oh boy. Meanwhile, Sam thinks Dean is dead and returns to the bunker, to find Lady Antonia in his house, a member of the Men of Letters UK branch. She says the brothers have caused too much trouble and need to be punished and when Sam refuses, she shoots him. Again, we know he’s not going to die, why kill one of the brothers every season finale only to have them back again the next episode? Silly writers.movies eye roll ferris buellers day off mia sara dayoff

Bones E17
It was a nice and simple episode involving the death of a Secret Service agent, Bones was sick and Dr. Colin Fisher (an intern) was back to give a helping hand.

That was a nice short post from me, see you all next week!

Finals are starting!

OK, just a quick update on what the haps is now that we’re coming to the bittersweet end the seasons. ABC released news this week that Agent Carter has been cancelled, and I may have cried a little, though petitions have been started to try and get Netflix to take it up along with all their other Marvel shows. And another shock: Castle has been cancelled :O After 8 seasons of Castle and Beckett, Stana Katic (Beckett) was not given a contract to renew her position and a few days ago, ABC announced that after next weeks season finale, the show will be ending. I really, really hope that they manage to end it well! If Beckett doesn’t get to Loksat and the series ends with a cliffhanger, I will be one very upset person.

Game of Thrones E03
Rickon is back! And god damn, we almost, almost got to see Lyanna Stark and find out if Jon is half Targaryen but noooooo… way to keep us waiting! Here what happened this week:

  • At the Wall: Hello, naked Jon 😉 Melisandra asks Jonabout the afterlife (heads up, he remembers nothing), and Davos Seaworth offers him support and tells him to keep persevering. At the end of the episode, Jon has to hang Thorne, Ollie and the two other traitors and man, I didn’t think I would ever be happy to see that boy killed. Jon then pulls out one last move, gives his cloak and Castle Black over to Edd and declares that his watch is now over. W.O.W. Ok, time to go rescue the remnants of your family and go back to Winterfell.barack obama done mic drop im out finished
  • Sam and Gilly: They’re on their way to the Citadel and Sam tells Gilly that he will have to leave her and Little Sam with his mother and sister in Old Town while he goes off to learn to be a Maester.
  • Bran: The Three Eyed Raven shows Bran Ned’s life after Robert Baratheon defeats the Mad King, Ned and Howland Reed go to the Tower of Joy where Lyanna is held in order to free her, but are confronted by Ser Arthur Dayne of the Kingsguard. Bran is shocked to discover that Ned didn’t defeat Dayne, but Reed stabbed him in the back just as he was about to kill Ned. Ned heads up the Tower but the Raven pulls Bran (and all of us) back. Dammit Raven. 1 more minute!
  • Daenerys: She’s brought to the Dosh Khaleen and told that because she didn’t return to the temple immediately after Khal Drogo died, her fate will be decided by the Khalar Vezheven (I think that’s like the Dothraki council…)
  • Meereen: Greyworm, Missandei and Tyrion have the most awkwardest moments and almost play Never Have I Ever (good to know that even in fictional worlds, they like to play normal drinking games) but are interrupted by Varys who has coerced a conspirator to give up information on how the Sons of Harpy are funding their rebellion. Time to talk to the Masters of Yunkai, Volantis and Astapor, maybe even fight them :/
  • King’s Landing: Cersei, Jaime and Gregor as Qyburn to use Varys’ “little birds” (little kids) to find out who is talking against their families, and find out information about Dorne. The three of them then go to a meeting of the Small Council, and are victim to Olena Tyrell’s sass. Cersei wants to know what is happening now that the Sand Snakes have taken over Dorne but the Small Council leaves, saying they don’t have to include the Queen Mother in any more decisions, ouch. Meanwhile, Tommen has a heart-to-heart with the High Sparrow.
  • Braavos: she’s still getting tested by the Waif, but seems to pass all her tests, because Jaqen H’ghar gives her the water from the Death-Pool thingy and she gets her eyesight back, interestingggggg
  • Winterfell: Lord Umber comes to Bolton to ask for help fighting the Wildlings but refuses to pledge his house to theirs. Instead, he gives the Rickon Stark (all grown up!) and Osha and to prove that he’s really a Stark, he produces the head of Shaggydog, Rick’s direwolf. Now, more than one person out there is pissed off, can they please stop chopping the heads off of innocent doggies? Secondly, maybe Umber is playing Bolton and is trying to return a Stark back to Winterfell, and Shaggydog is still alive, ready to protect Rick. Who knows?!

Once Upon a Time E21
Well that was an emotional rollercoaster I was not prepared for! Thing’s got a little complicated,so I’ll try and make this simple. Everyone returns to Storeybrooke and the first thing Hades does is kill King Arthur (just wait, it makes sense in a bit), and we find out Hades has an Olympian crystal to take while Rregina tries to convince Zelena that Hades is still evil. The Charming’s try to find a way to kill Hades, and Emma is not dealing well without Hook (which is totally understandable) but Hook meets up with Arthur in the Underworld and find the ripped out pages of the Once Upon a Time book. The pages reveal that Hades can be killed with the crystal he possesses, and Hook puts the pages back in the Underworld book, which means that the Storeybrooke book gains those pages and Emma can see how to kill him (complicated, I know, they don’t really explain it).

Anyway, by the end of the episode, Regina and Robin come for the baby but are stopped by Hades, who intends to kill Regina, but Robin jumps in the way and sacrifices himself, NOOOOOOOOO! Zelena comes in and both parties are trying to convince her who is right, and in the end, she realises what Hades intends to do and stabs him with the crystal, WOOOO! But then the feels hit me, because both Robin and Hook are gone, and now what’s the point of the show! Back in the Underworld, Arthur realises that maybe this was his kingdom and Hook heads towards the light to meet Zeus. Zeus thanks him for helping kill Hades and says “Go that way, it’ll take you to where you belong” and I’m sitting there going “yes, yes back to Storeybrooke, come on!!!” Scene change and we’re at Robin’s funeral, Zelena decides to name her little girl Robin, and Emma is having a moment by herself when WHAM! Incoming Hook, all alive and well thanks to Zeus’s magic! But wait, that wasn’t the end, one last twist – Rumple finds the pile of ash that was once Hades and puts his hand in to find a broken part of the Olympian crystal, this is sooooooo not good :/ There’s a two part season finale next week, stay tuned!

New Girl E21 & E22 (Finale)
This week we had a double episode to finish off season 5 of New Girl and I really enjoyed it! In episode 21, Schmidt has to rewrite his vows, Winston and Aly say I love you to each other, Coach is back!, Sam breaks up with Jess because he’s in love with his best friend and obviously, Nick, and  Schmidt’s mum and her girlfriend get engaged. And this ALLLLL happens while they’re playing True American (I really need to find out the rules for that, it looks awesome!) Anyway, in the season finale, Schmidt gets on a plane to Portland to try and convince Cece’s mum to come to the wedding but instead gets delayed on the tarmac all day. Cece’s mum does end up coming to the wedding, and the wedding festivities continue with everyone except Schmidt who celebrates it all via his phone and an iPad. But by the end of the episode, he’s made it back to the apartment and is surprised to find his friends and family all ready for his wedding to Cece and they have a BEAUTIFUL Jewish-Hindu wedding, and it’s so sweet and lovely, I almost cried. Now here’s the clincher – Jess realises that she still has feelings for Nick but before she can do anything about it, Reagan surprises Nick by being his date and Jess ends up helping the two of them sort out their issues. And your heart breaks a little. But then Nick says that he’s going to start a relationship with Reagen and because she’s going to spend 3 months in New Orleans, he’s going with her. Now, I’m sad because I want everyone to find love and be happy, but I’m also wondering what is going to happen on the show. When they got together the first time, the chemistry and hilarity of the show just died, and I’m worried it might happen again! But all in all, it was a great season finale, can’t wait for the next season!new-girl new girl thumbs up nick miller teamwork

Quantico E21
Lemme break it down for ya. Things got super complicated but it really wasn’t so lets do this! In the flashbacks, Shelby gets a real letter from her parents and tries to lure them into America with fake witness protection documents in order to get them to pay for what they’ve done. Instead, Alex, Liam, Ryan, Caleb and Iris all get involved and Shelby’s mum escapes, and Shelby is PISSED. Meanwhile, Alex discovers that her father and Liam maybe have nudged the militia into the attack in Omaha to catch them and it didn’t end well, and the FBI tried to hush it all up. Ryan decides that he doesn’t like the way Liam is always involved in cover ups and makes the decision not to follow him to DC. Also, Raina is a little conflicted but decides to chose working with her sister over getting away from it all with Simon. The flashbacks were pretty simple this week, and Priyanka’s side hair look amazing #hairgoals.

Back to the present, Alex is driving around the city,  And Shelby and Claire get every one (Ryan, Nimah, Raina, Caleb, Miranda) to try and find the vehicle. Miranda mysteriously disappears from the building, making Ryan very suspicious. We see that Drew and Simon have been drugged and tied up in an abandoned apartment, and  the terrorist is using Drew’s voice to talk to Alex. The apartment has a trip wire connected to a bomb and when Ryan and his team arrive, the bomb goes off, killing Drew but Simon escapes. Once everyone is back together, Simon manages to convince Alex that it was all theatrics and the bomb isn’t even activated, leaving everyone safe and sound. But then, the bomb, that comes into the FBI’s possession is stolen and the next scene is Miranda snooping around a house, finding a computer with multiple monitors with camera feeds to everyone’s apartments and the FBI office. She turns around and is shot by Liam, holding a gun and the bomb, saying that he’s trying to make everything right. friends wow omg shocked joey tribbianiHOLY SHIT ON A POPSICLE STICK! They’re probably going to manipulate his words next episode to show that he isn’t the terrorist, but I don’t care, I don’t like him and he looks shifty AF. Season 1 finale next week, let’s see how they play this out!

Agents of SHIELD E20
Coulson gives a tour of SHIELD to Talbot, while May and Lincoln trick Daisy into helping Lincoln escape. Lash takes Lincoln’s place, he fights and injures Hive without getting infected, take the parasites out of Daisy and help her escape but James the fire-Aussie kills Lash before they can take off back to SHIELD 😦 Oh and Hive now has a group of ugly as soldier things under his control made from the Kree blood and the crazy doctors experiments. Talbot also tells the team that the thing that Hive stole from the lab was a warhead, and Hive has everything he needs now to explode the terrigen crystals over the Earth and infect millions :/

The Flash E21
Well this was a super weird episode, but the main thing to gather from this episode is BARRY IS BACK! He spends the episode in the Speedforce and I guess everyone is confused because like Barry, we assume the Speedforce is like, gravity. But instead, it seems to be a state of being almost, where Barry finally comes to terms with his mothers death and returns back to the lab with all his powers intact. While he’s been away, Henry takes care of a comatose Jesse, Iris and Joe deal with a zombie version of Girder (remember the metal dude that has a thing for Iris?) and Harry and Cisco work on getting Barry back. By the end of the episode, Barry comes back ad manages to help them capture Girder and wakes up Jesse, maybe she has the Speedforce too? Henry decides that he’s going to stay in Central City and at the end of the episode, we see Zoom talking to all his meta human minions in the CCPD building, they’re going to take over this Earth and he wants Caitlin to chose a side :/

Arrow E21
Felicity, Diggle and Oli find out that they have 21 hours to hack into Rubicon and stop the nuclear weapons from denotating and Felicity needs her father, Noah Butler, to come in and help out. Of course, while Oli goes to get him, Darhk uses his men to come after Noah as well, but Oli and Diggle win and Felicity meets her dad again. They manage to get into Palmer Tech (after Felicty is fired and removed from the building) in order to steal a piece of tech that will help them crack Rubicon. They can’t steal it, so they copy it and use it to try and stop all but one of the missiles from being launched and Lyla tells Felicity to redirect it from Monument Point to Haven Rock, killing tens of thousands, but saving millions as well :/ Oli also realises that the place where Darhk is probably hiding out with his idol is under City Hall. Meanwhile, in the Ark, Merlyn and Thea have to take on Machin who wants to shut down the life support and him and Thea fight, but Alex becomes collateral damage and dies. Can all these good people please stop dying?! And you’ll never see him or Tommy or Moira come back! Nooooo, it’s always the bad guys that are reborn, never the good guys (except Sara :/ )!

Legends of Tomorrow E15
The team are all separated and discover that the Time Masters have been using an object called the Occulus to allow them to manipulate time, allow Savage to time travel and set events in motion that allow the future to happen the way they want it. Rip also finds out that the Time Masters were the ones who ordered his families death, and sees the future, and Ray’s death. The Time Masters also capture Mick and try to brainwash him back into Kronos but he’s too good for that, and ends up helping the rest of the team in meeting up with Snart in Sara. Kendra is captures with Carter and is taken on a field trip with Savage. In the end, the team decides that the only thing they can do is destroy the Occulus, but requires someone to sacrifice themselves while the device is destroyed. Rip realises this is how Ray dies, but Rory isn’t having any of it, so pushes him out of the way and sacrificies himself. But in typical hero fashion, Snart decides he’s going to die, so knocks Rory out, and sacrifices himself, getting a goodbye kiss from Sara on the way. Jacks arrives back from 2016, and everyone escapes (but Snart 😦 ) and now there is no set timeline but sadly Rip’s family still dies despite everything they’ve done. Now SURELY, Snart can’t stay dead right? They’re time travellers, come on!

The 100 E15
Clarke, Rowan (the Ice clan King), Bellamy and Octavia make a plan to infiltrate Polis, remove Allie from Ontari and put the flame in her so that they can defeat Allie. Of course things don’t go to plan and everyone gets captures, but to the rescue are Murphy, Pike and Indra. Clarke is separated from the group and its tortured by her own mother to give the phrase that will activate the Flame, but she doesn’t so Allie orders Abby to hang herself to try and get it out of Clarke, but Clarke. Doesn’t. Budge. Some would say that was heartless and cold, letting her mother die like that, but Clarke is a smart girl, she’ll deal with her pain while saving more people. Anyway, Murphy and Bellamy come to Clarke’s rescue, Bellamy shoots Jaha before he can kill Ontari, Murphy saves Abby but Clarke and Bellamy find Ontari on the ground, alive but brain dead, which means the 100 really have no hope now. And while AAAAALL of this is happening, we find out that Jasper was the one to bring Allie to Arkadia and Jasper stabs Monty and attacks Monty’s gf in order to try and get into the workshop and stop Raven from getting back into Allie’s program. With one more episode to do and no sign of the team actually winning, I’m very keen to see what happens!

NCIS E23 (Fornell is alive, Jacob Scott is innocent and being framed and he’s trying to get in contact with Ziva in Tel Aviv who has inherited some documents that prove his innocence, but she could be in some trouble of her own – Season Finale next week!), Castle E21 (actually freaked me out for a bit, damn cinematography! But get ready for next week’s series finale 😦 ), Supernatural E21 (we meet a new Prophet of God called Donatello, Metatron, Sam and Donatello rescue Lucifer from Amara who is being distracted by Dean, but Chuck saves them all, Metatron dies and Chuck is reunited with Lucifer), Bones E15 (Hodgins and Angela work things out and Aubrey finds out his criminal father is back in America), The Big Bang Theory E24 Finale (Sheldon’s mum and Leonard’s dad have a not so secretive hookup 😉 ) and Legends of Tomorrow E15.

Jaw Drops

So this week, every single episode had some kind of shocking twist/death/betrayal so, before we start, I’m warning you. There will be plenty of spoilers and I’m not going to do the whole “skip to this part if you don’t want spoilers” because this post would go on FOREVER if I did that. So sit back and relax as we go through this weeks shockers:

Game of Thrones E02
 JOOOOOOOOOOON SNOWWWWWWWWWWW.
To be honest, that the only thing that really matters in the episode, I can die happy this week knowing that Jon Snow is alive and can save Westeros like he was meant to all along. Other things that happened in the episode that don’t really matter:

  • Bran is seeing Ned’s life when he was younger whilst under the tutelage of Three Eyed Raven so I guess this is how we’re going to learn more about Lyanna and her death (and maybe Jon’s birth?????)
  • Davos Seaworth, Edd, the other men along with Tormund and the Wildlings fight and defeat Thorne and hold the power of Castle Black
  • Tommen and Cersei patch things up (he thinks that she is the one that killed Tristane) and Jaime has a very threatening conversation with The Sparrow at Myrcella’s funeral
  • Jaquen H’ghar tests Arya and she passes, telling her that she’s no longer a beggar
  • Ramsay goes on a killing spree at Winterfell and kills Roose, his Walder step-mother and his new legitimate half-brother in order to take control of the troops for himself and take on Castle Black with the support of the other Northern families like the Karstarks.
  • Brienne tells Sansa about when she met the Hound and Arya and Theon says he won’t accompany Sansa but wants to return to the Iron Islands, back home – no Reek, you’re supposed to go and get your revenge on Ramsay! You and Sansa are a team!
  • Yara (Theon’s sister) argues with her father Balon about not rescuing Theon and losing their strongholds and then Balon is killed by one of his brothers, either Victarion or Euron ( I don’t really know) :O We finally meet Aeron “Damphair” Greyjoy, Priest of the Drowned God, who informs Yara that she will have to compete against her uncles in the King’s Moot to decide who will rule the Iron Islands next. Yara is the best choice which means that she’ll probably die soon.
  • On Meereen, we discover that Astapor and Yunkai have been overtaken by the Masters again and no longer slave free and Tyrion grows the biggest pair of balls when he heads to the dragons, talks to them and gains their trust when he unchains them from the chains Daeny puts them in
  • Thanks to Seaworth’s thinking, MELISANDRE BRINGS BACK JON SNOWWWWWW – I think we’re all believers of R’hllor, the Lord of Light now. Praise the lord!

Quantico E20
DREW IS THE TERRORIST!
shocked surprised cats shocked cat excitedOk, I’ll backtrack – I wasn’t too impressed with this weeks episode to be quite frank, and this whole super flirty Alex is just not to my liking. I mean, Drew has been gone 1 week and she’s already shamelessly flirting with Ryan, who, might I add, wanted to be with her and SHE was the one who said she couldn’t deal with him. And now she’s all over him, hinting at dates when she’s no longer a NAT – woman, keep it in your pants! Anyway, in the flashbacks, the team goes to the Richmond branch to help the agents there, the twins mess up their assignment, Alex almost kills Fletcher and Shelby finds out about Caleb lying to her about her parents. It ends with her called Mr. Haas and giving him all the information she has about her fugitive parents – guess she’s out for revenge. In the present time I think the most important thing to know is DREW IS THE VOICE! HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE! Of course, the writers could do the same thing that they did with Shelby and say that Drew is being blackmailed, but after using Alex to pin the blame on Ryan, Alex and Shelby figure out that it’s Drew! At the end of the episode, Drew tells Alex to get into Ryans truck (which has a bomb in it btw) and drive. WOW, with a few episodes left, I was not expecting this twist!

Once Upon a Time E20
DON’T LEAVE HOOOOOOOOOK!
Urgh Hades, why you do dis? For the first half of the episode, I actually trusted you! Rumple and Pan kidnap Zelena and in exchange for her freedom, Hades has to rip up the contract he has. Of course he does this, but in exchange for getting extra protection/help from Emma, he says that he’ll wipe the names of the headstones so they can all get back to Storeybrooke. Anyway, contract ripped, Zelena given back, portal to Storeybrooke open, but Hook’s body refuses Emma’s split heart because he’s been dead too long. So once again the heroes split up: Hades, Zelena and her baby wait at the portal and eventually go through, Robin, Regina, Henry and Charming try and solve everyone else’s unfinished business but are stopped by Cruella who wants to rule Underbrooke now and Emma and Hook go to down into the Underworld to find some ambrosia, the food of the Gods, to help restore Hook to his body. However, all the ambrosia is gone (of course Hades destroys it, he’s a dick) and Hook tells Emma to leave him behind and go back, NOOOOOO! Hook please don’t leave the show, you’re dark hair, blue eyes, guyliner and accent are the only good things left!
cat reaction omg shocked shockAnyway – Emma and Regina figure out that Hades has been cheating them, break free of Cruella’s imprisonment and everyone goes through the portal, including Rumple. He has his own deal with Pan, and double crosses him, giving him a heart filled with water from the River of Souls which finally kills Pan – Wooohoooooo, I never liked him anyway, mean, conniving, evil little boy. Anyway with everyone, minus Hook, back in Storeybrooke, it’ll be interesting to see what happens next week. Also, we also get to see the origins of Emma’s red leather jacket in the flashbacks, very interesting 🙂

NCIS E20
THEY KILL AGENT FORNELL!
Nooo whyyyyy? Nothing really gripping all episode – the team has a case, Tony is in the UK and Russie trying to track down Jacob Scott, who killed Tom Morrow and Fornell and Vance go to the UK to try and get a former MI6 agents help. They are attacked at her farm in England but managed to get her back to America to help track Scott down. Unfortunately, while in Gibbs’ house, the agent and Fornell are attacked by a masked shooter and the last scene is Fornell reaching for his phone as his daughter is calling him…

Supernatural E20
CHUCK SHURLEY IS GOD! WE’RE GETTING SOMEWHERE!
OK, so if you don’t remember (because I didn’t :/), Chuck is the dude who, in the series, is given the skill of looking into the future and writes books about Dean and Sam’s adventures under the pen-name Edlund Carver. In this weeks episode, Metatron is kidnapped and taken to a bar, where he finds Chuck sitting and writing a book – The Memoirs of God. Metatron realises that Chuck is God and just left humanity to sort itself out after he believes his experiment went wrong. Metatron spends the entire episode trying to appeal to his “kind” mature but h just realises that God knows what Amara is doing and is willing to let her in order to clean the world and start all over again, just like natural selection in nature. Metatron is shocked to hear this, and tries to convince him otherwise, and the episode ends with Dean and Sam finding out that Chuck is God. It was a bit full on, but I’m glad it happened because things are finally coming together!

The Flash E20
BARRY BLOWS UP! LIKE PROPER EVAPORATES INTO THIN AIR!
So basically, Harry Wells finds a way to recreate the particle accelerator explosion to give Barry back his speedforce, but Barry’s a bit hesitant if he wants to go through it all over again. Meanwhile, Rupture, Cisco’s brothers Earth-2 meta-human doppelganger is out for revenge and Zoom comes back with Caitlin, threatening to kill every one on the CCPD if they go against him. Barry brings his father back to the city to add to the confusion, people die, Iris confesses her feelings, Wally and Jesse are locked away for safe keeping and Barry realises that he needs to be the Flash in order to be the best version of himself. And cue – disaster! The circumstances of the explosion are the same as what originally happens, except this time Barry goes BOOM! Like, just explodes into thin air, but what we also see, is the speedforce leaving him and possibly smashing into Wally and Jesse – does that mean they have powers now? And what happened to Barry?! The episode ended on a cliffhanger, thank god it wasn’t the season finale. But they can’t really have The Flash without… you know, The Flash! Can they????supernatural shocked jensen ackles shock gasp

Arrow E20
DIGGLE KILLS ANDY!
Yea this week was a bit full on, but I liked it. The team splits apart this week because they can’t get to Darhk without defeating his magic: Thea goes on a weekend away with Alex, Diggle lays low with his family and Oli and Felicity go meet Constantine’s friend to learn about magic. Anyway, Diggle is an idiot and tries to go after Andy, and in 40 minutes, manages to get shot at, captured, tortured, shot at again, put his wife and child in danger and then finally loses his shit and shoots his brother dead. FINALLY! Oli, meanwhile, learns that in order to defeat Darhk’s darkness, he needs to use the light in him and deflect it, or else the darkness in him will only fuel Darhk’s powers. He manages to do this when Darhk attacks Lyla, but he gets away with a chip which contains all the information controlling the nuclear weapons in the world and the team realises that the Hive project Genesis is much like Noah’s Ark and Darhk intends to lay waste to the world and start over. What we then realise is that Alex has been taking the same mind controlling yellow pills Darhk was giving his men and Thea’s been taken to some dome thing which she can’t get out of. Think about the show Under the Dome, it’s like that but much much creepier.

The 100 E14
ALLIE GETS TO LUNA!
Can these guys just not catch a break?! Number 1: Luna refuses to take the Flame and become the Commander and defeat Allie. Number 2: Clarke tries to trick her, gets owned and gets sent back into the container to be sent back to land. Number 3: Luna’s own people attack her after they take the pill from Jaha and Allie knows about Luna, but Luna manages to escape and kills her boyfriend. Number 4: Luna drugs Jasper, Octavia, Bellamy and Clarke and puts them back on land. Bellamy captures the moment perfectly – “Now what?”. Now let me just inform you on Allie’s power sources. From what I understand, she is on the servers in Arkadia and gets her power from there but there is a back up source in the backpack that Jaha has been carrying around for this season. Murphy tells Indra and Pike about the pack and they decide to destroy it, but Emori tells them that it has a nuclear fuel cell and the whole city will blow up if they destroy it incorrectly. Unfortunately for them, Raven is back at Arkadia, and goes ahead to try and find out Allie’s secrets without Allie 2.0 to take over, and Allie realises that she has to leave the Arkadia servers and move to the backpack, ie. Raven seriously messes up and the team have no way to destroy Allie, now that she’s moved servers and Monty is seriously pissed. Allie manages to get Emori to stall Murphy and Pike, and Allie has time to make the migration and start transmitting from the escape pod and back up server. So basically Team 100 are back where they started, no Commander with Allie 2.0 and no way to destroy Allie. Hoorah! They’re all going to die.

NCIS: LA E24 (Season Finale)
I was actually kind of disappointed in this season finale, I guess I’ve been used to really gripping endings and I was hoping the team finally crack onto the mole in NCIS. Instead, Tahir Khaled holds Sam’s son’s military academy hostage in order to get to Sam and it’s up to the team to make sure that everyone is safe, Aiden is alive and they catch Tahir. OBVIOUSLY they do, and there’s no cliffhanger, just a nice simple ending to the season. We also find out that Nell and Eric have been doing the kissy-kissy in private, hoorah!

The ones I haven’t mentioned: Castle E20New Girl E19 & E20The Big Bang Theory E23 (Penny tries to connect with Leonard’s mum), Bones E14 (Hodgins and Angela may still have hope and Aubrey and Jessica finally kiss!), Agents of SHIELD E19 (Hive-Ward uses the Kree artifact to get two Kree to come to Earth in order to harvest their blood for the experiments but SHIELD foils them so Daisy volunteers her own blood because that’s what Coulson used to bring her back to life and Lincoln uses an antitoxin created by FitzSimmons to try and see if they can stop Hive’s parasites but it doesn’t work 😦 ), Legends of Tomorrow E14 (Capture Savage, Savage escapes, capture him again, give him to the Time Masters and they let him go. Oh and Jacks has been sent back to 2016 because he was dying and Ray and Kendra break up).

No Thrones spoilers, I promise!

As you can see, the premiere of Season 6 of Game of Thrones was today and yes I have seen it, but as a courtesy for all those that have worked today or just haven’t gotten a chance to see it, you have one week. One. Week. And then my review will come out before I see the next episode. I was out in the morning and when I got back, I don’t think my family has ever seen me run so fast from the front door to my bedroom screaming “Gaaaaaame of throooooones is oooooooon”. By now, I just assume they’re used to it because mum just nodded and went “see you in an hour” – mother of the year award, right there. Anyway, the rest of the week was good, a reminder that next week will be the finale of Scorpion, so I’ll give my full and finale review of it as I ditch the show. In other news, I’m progressing through The Walking Dead pretty well (Man, some of the scenes are gross) and I also started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. And say what you will about Nickelodeon cartoons, I have heard too many good things about it to ignore it any more.

Quantico E18
So this week’s present-time is nice and straightforward, Alex gets Nimah to come in and pretend to be Raina and try and find out what Ryan is up to because she sees that Mark Raymond was used to hire the vehicle that took Simon and Will. Which, of course, is Caleb’s other identity. Nimah obviously gets caught and we find out a little more about what happened between the sisters. Alex finds out from Clair Haas that the reason Caleb has been missing since the second bomb was because he saw his father die and has taken up drugs again, and rather than sending him to a rehab centre, Clair is keeping him locked away, weaning him off the drugs till after she wins the Vice Presidency. At the end of the episode, as Alex is leaving, Caleb escapes his mothers prison to help her, but calls someone and says “She fell for it, we’re on our way.” Back in the past, and we find out Charlie didn’t die, he’s in the ICU and Miranda is removed from her position from a vote of a panel. She then makes it her mission to find out why and cheats Liam into telling her about him and Alex, which of course she records and shows Assistant Director Haas. He’s having none of it, saying he can’t do anything which is freaking bullshit, because Liam has done way worse stuff than Miranda and yet she’s getting fired. She then goes to talk to Alex, in what is one of the most inspirational and feminist speeches I have heard in a long time. Girls out there – if you need some motivation in your career or life, listen to it, it’s ah-mazing. With the NAT’s, they’re told to fill out Security Access forms, and of course, the lies all come out. Iris is suspicious of Caleb and Will, tells Shelby who inadvertently dobs them into Liam, who then talks to Mr. Haas. And that’s where we find out why Liam has been so many chances, he’s keeping things quiet for the Haas’ and in exchange, he gets away with everything. Then on the night that Will is to infiltrate Sistemics, Iris calls them to tell them that Mark Raymond is in the FBI, and Caleb has to go and prove to them that Will means nothing and Caleb was playing him to get information for Sistemics. To prove his loyalty, he’s told to beat up Will and leave him, only to be found by Shelby. Shit is getting messed up.

NCIS E21
This weeks episode gets a special mention from me this week. Not only is it keeping me on my toes in preparation for Tony’s departure :(, but Fornell and Gibbs are just too freaking perfect in this episode. For those that don’t know, Gibbs’ second wife ended up marrying and divorcing Fornell as well, and they have a daughter together. Last season, unfortunately, Diane Sterling is murdered, and both men are hurt, and understand what they’re going through together. In this weeks’ hilariousness, Fornell has 1. got a smartphone and 2. is online dating. This means that his phone is ringing non-stop with all these ladies that he’s chatting to, but then he confides a little too much in Gibbs when he tells him about his fears and oh my god. Safe to say, I was a little giggling girl while they were in scenes together, the awkwardness and cringe factor was brilliant. Also, the case was really good, and former NCIS Director Tom Morrow is killed :O

Agents of SHIELD E17
OK, so this is fairly straightforward episode – Daisy brings together Lincoln, Joey Gutierrez (metal melting abilities) and Elena Rodriguez (aka Yo-yo) and herself to become the Secret Warriors and go rescue her team from Hive-Ward. They manage to do this, May is seriously injured and they capture Malick as well. Once they get back to the ship, Coulson interrogates Malick and finds out that Hive-Ward can mind control the Inhumans, meaning that someone could possibly be under his control right now. In true SHIELD fashion, everyone is left in the dark and eventually the Inhumans discover what is happening and start fighting amongst the rest of  SHIELD and themselves. Coulson figures out that Lincoln has been mind controlled since he ran into Hive-Ward a few episodes ago. Malick is killed and everyone is on lockdown, and that is when Daisy comes to free Lincoln – and he realises she is the one that has been mind controlled, not him. She admits to killing Malick, takes the Kree orb thing, the Terrigen crystals and leaves the base, whilst creating an Earthquake destroying the base. Shit.

The 100 E12
This weeks episode was kind of split into two parts. In one part, Murphy’s grounder girlfriend/lover, Emori, tracks him down and he tells her everything about his relationship with crazy Heda, Ontari. Turns out that Emori had taken the Alie 1.0 chip, worked for Jaha and told him everything about Ontari being a false Commander. Of course, he convinces her that the people will recognise her as the true Commander once she swallows the chip so she has Murphy arrested and taken away and takes the chip, which means that evil Alie is now in command of the 12 Clans :/ Back with the rest of group, they head back to Arkadia to get supplies and ammunition, only to find it deserted. One by one, they start getting attacked and kidnapped and it’s revealed that Emerson, the guy who blew up Mount Weather, is alive and after Clarke for killing his family. He traps all her friends in an airlock chamber an starts killing them, but Clarke defeats him and her friends are all safe. However, they do lose Sinclair and at the end of the episode they cremate Sinclair and Lincoln’s bodies with the respect they deserve. Raven also helps the discover that Alie 2.0, the one n the Commanders, was the version that was meant to work together with humans, and thus if they manage to get the chip to Luna, she may be able to defeat Alie. Raven and Sinclair manage to find out how to activate the chip so it can go into people, and at the end of the episode, Octavia, Bellamy, Jasper and Clarke go off to find Luna while Monty, Raven and the other three stay back to get Alie 1.0 online so Alie 2.0 can destroy her. Very complicated stuff, but i’m just happy everyone is back together!

The Flash E18
We finally get the Zoom v Flash stand off we’ve been waiting for! Barry learns that he can run faster than Zoom with the tachyon accelerator, and they use Cisco’s powers (and Harry’s knowledge of Reverb’s powers) to open up a breach and let Zoom into Earth-1. Now, it gets a bit complicated but when Jay is on Earth-1, we learn that his doppleganger is Hunter Zolomon however Harry reveals that on Earth-2, Hunter Zolomon is a serial killer who had watched his father murder his mother when he was 11. Team Flash figure out that Zoom is Hunter Zolomon and they use this knowledge to catch him when he comes through the breach. However, he’s a smart cookie, and escapes kidnapping Wally in exchange for Barry’s Speedforce. Barry has no choice but to give it up and this is when we find out that Hunter was undergoing electroconvulsive therapy in a mental asylum when Harry’s Earth-2 particle accelerator explodes, giving him the Speedforce. He uses his a versino of his past self to come to Earth-1, learn more about Barry and then kills his own time fragment version to show “Jay’s death”. Anyway, Barry gives his Speedforce, Jay injects it in himself and runs away from Star Labs, and kidnaps Caitlin before leaving! What is Barry supposed to do now without his Speedforce? I reckon Harry was a smarty pants and has some way to stop Zoom, but who knows?!

Legends of Tomorrow E12
This was an interesting episode: with the Pilgrim out to get the younger versions of the team to eliminate them from the timeline, the team decides to go to significant points in their lives and kidnap their younger selves to keep them safe. First they pick up Rory as a teenagers after accidentally burning his family house, Sara as a teenager being attacked by the Pilgrim and just manage to save 2014-Ray from being killed. After that, they realise that they can’t wait for the “significant” moment, so they decide to take newborn Snart, Stein and and Jacks and drop all 6 versions to Rip’s adoptive mothers house, a place called the Refuge. The Pilgrim comes up with her own way to win and Rip is forced to give up his younger self to save his friend’s families. Everything works out well however they realise that they only have a matter of days before the new timelines without the team members in their original lives starts becoming true and their futures change forever :/

The ones I didn’t mention: Once Upon a Time E18 (Mulan and Red are back, Red loves Dorothy and saves her from a sleeping spell, Snow goes back to Storeybrooke to be with Neil and Belle puts herself in a sleeping curse to give Rumple time to destroy the contract with Hades to protect her baby), Scorpion E23 (The team goes to Chernobyl and Toby ends up being kidnapped by their former, crazy team member Mark Collins), NCIS: LA E22 (Anna and G go on a date and we find out that ex-Korean spy Jennifer is Granger’s long lost daughter), Castle E18 (Hayley’s MI6 past comes back – I just don’t really like her :/), New Girl E15 & 16 (Winston marries his new girlfriend Rhonda and Jess, Sam and Nick have to come to terms with their awkward relationship), The Big Bang Theory E21 (the whole group is fighting), and Bones E12 (a meninist is killed and Hodgins is acting like a total jerk-face).

Anyway, have a lovely week, happy watching!

DC wins!

Anyone else feeling that the first quarter of the year has gone by too fast and the next thing you know, 2016 will be over? I just can’t deal with it, maybe April will be the month I finally get my shit together. Anyway, this week, I think DC took the cake, with all three of their episodes really coming together, and being the best they can be – I loved them 🙂 Also, checked out Batman vs Superman this week, I can see why some people didn’t like it, but I thought it was alright, and I absolutely cannot wait for the Wonder Woman movie, I hope it’ll be ah-mazing!

Newsroom: I had a read of what Marvel’s television show production schedule is going to be like over the next few years, and there’s some interesting news. Apparently Agent Carter didn’t have the same ratings as the first season, so the chances of us fans getting a third season anytime soon is slowly diminishing, at this rate I’ll be happy if we even get another season. I really hope they don’t drop it, there’s so much more we need to know about Dottie and the pins! Meanwhile, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are all coming together to create a mini series called Marvel’s Defenders, but as to when and if we’re going to see more of Daredevil and Jessica Jones, we have no idea. Luke Cage will be airing on Netflix on the 30th of September, and safe to say, it’s going to be pretty cool!

happy excited thumbs up exciting cobie smulders

Quantico E15
So much going on, so little time! We’ll start with the present because it’s super quick – the terrorists tell Alex get to Claire Haas’ handbag and exchange her bottle of medication for the one they’ve given her, Alex gets caught by Hannah who really really hates her, but Alex convinces her that the group is after her, and Hannah exchanges the bottles for Alex, meaning that no one else dies. For now. Awkward part – the terrorists still have the schedule for the presidential campaign coming up, so who knows what they’re going to blow up next :/ In the flashbacks, there’s a few things going, imma try and summarise it all up:

  • Caleb, Shelby, Will and Iris all find out that Shelby’s parents are still alive Samar has been taking the money Shelby has been giving her and transferring it to them, Caleb has been pretending to be Mark Raymond to investigate it. Now poor Shelby, who has done absolutely NOTHING wrong is in the toughest situation ever, does she want to contact the parents that left her all alone in the world and lied to her????
doctorwho doctor who what mad annoyed
  • Raina tells Miranda that the terrorist cell she infiltrated is empty and she goes to collect Charlie and keep him safe. They arrive at Quantico to find it on lock down – the terrorists have come to the facility and have shot down guards in order to get in so the two of them go and drive to Miranda’s house to wait for her. Raina also finds out that Charlie wasn’t kidnapped, he went of his own accord to give information about the security and Quantico, the layout and all the doors and escape doors, but then he realised he wanted to get out because they didn’t care about him and that’s when he was beaten up.
  • Quantico is in lockdown and a few recruits and Liam escape to try and find others/ see what’s happening. Drew ends up saving Liam’s life and they patch things up between them
  • Alex and Ryan meet – she tells him they’re bad for each other and shouldn’t see each other ever again. His face 😦 All you want to do is hug him, that poor, heartbroken man.
  • Miranda comes home to find one of the terrorists in her house and he forces Charlie to shoot his own mum and Raina. Charlie ends up shooting the shooter, but has a laser pointer at him (from the FBI stationed outside) so Miranda shoots him to get him down but the sniper ends up shooting Charlie as well.
    shocked brave merida gasp pixar

Once Upon a Time E15
This week, on awkward family reunions that always involve betrayal and lies, we get introduced to Hook’s older brother Liam, a gorgeous, kind hearted and perfect man that Hook reveres – who then proceeds to tell Emma that she isn’t worth Hook’s love and should just leave. See? Awkward. We then find out that he wasn’t actually that good, he betrays the ship he worked on for Hades in exchange for the Eye of the Storm – something that ends up buying the Jones’ brothers navy careers with the King. Again, awkward. However, back in Underbrooke, the gang figures out that the only way they can find out how to kill Hades to is to go find The Book (Once Upon a Time) and see Hades story. Of course, Hades blackmails Liam to steal the book, and he does, but Hook finds out, finally realising that his brother isn’t perfect and Emma is right about saving him. There’s a bit of a Lion King moment between the brothers at the end, but at the end of the episode, Liam is saved by the crew he betrayed and moves on, leaving Emma and Hook happy again (Yay!)

Henry also meets the Apprentice, who is stuck in the Underworld, who tried to tell him not to resurrect Cruella, but should he want to get the magic quill back, he should try and find the key in the Sherrif’s office, run by James (Charming’s twin brother). By the end of it all, Henry tells his family that he will use the magic quill to rewrite Hades’ story but we also find out that Hades is involved with Zelena! Will this green witch ever leave us alone?!

Agents of Shield E14
This was a simple episode – we get to meet Mack’s little brother and are introduced to the Watchdogs – an anti-Inhumans group run by Felix Blake:
Felix Blake
If you don’t remember him, don’t worry, he was Coulson’s old partner and after being attacked by Deathlok, he becomes a paraplegic with a keen hate for all powered things. Anyway, the Watchdogs attack a ATCU base with nitramine (one of Howard Stark’s inventions, and played a part in the beginning of Marvel’s Agent Carter, if you remember???) Anyway, Mack, Daisy and Fitz try to find/stop the Watchdogs while Lincoln and Coulson try to find Blake and stop what’s happening. In the end, everyone is safe (somewhat), and we discover that Blake is being paid by Mallick, obviously, and in return for the facility destruction, Blake is paid in weapons and what looks like a very big warhead. Uh oh. Also, I really didn’t like Daisy in this episode. I can see how she’s trying to fight for the Inhuman’s rights but she’s being so uncooperative and inconsiderate. This is the second week in a row she has opposed members of her team and refuses to compromise or look at their side of the argument. I’d be interested in seeing if they’re going to continue down this Defiant Daisy path and what can come from it :/

The Flash E17
Nice and easy this week – Barry decides to go back in time to talk to Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne about the Speedforce and how to get faster, seeing as he spent his entire life researching it. Of course Barry goes back and rather than everything running smoothly (hehe running…), everyone finds out, timelines are rearranged, and Eobard realises that he doesn’t defeat the Flash. But Barry gets what he came for, defeats a Time Wraith (think Dementor cross Supernatural’s vengeful spirits) and comes back to the present time with all the information he needs to become faster and beat Jay/Zoom. I also liked the writers spending time on Iris and Eddie, we sometimes forget that she lost the love of her life, and for a few minutes, we’re taken into her world of loss and trying to move on. Two thumbs up guys, solid episode!
friends thumbs up matthew perry joey matt leblanc

Arrow E17
And another winner for DC, and you know why? Because unlike the last few episodes, it wasn’t weighed down by the Olicity drama! Don’t get me wrong, I live for drama in other people’s lives, but after the last few super depressing episodes, it felt good to have a returning villain, Brie Larvan from The Flash, come back in all here bee-craziness, come in and demand Felicity’s prototype-magic-walking-chip in order to save her own life. There was plenty of action and highlight of the episode has to be Curtis Holt, who finds the Arrow lair and helps the team out in his own, hilarious way, really adding some humour back to show that disappeared when nervous Felicity ceased to exist. Also, props to Laurel Lance who really showed how much she’s matured when she reminds Oli that she’s been through heartbreak like this  and is there for him as his friend, regardless of their history. friends thumbs up matthew perry joey matt leblancOooooh and I almost forgot – Merlyn, Darhk and Jnr Diggle (John’s brother) are working together, aw maaaaaaaan 😦

Legend’s of Tomorrow E09
And the third episode of awesomeness from DC this week. When we last left the team, Sara, Kendra and Ray are left behind in 1958 with Savage on their backs, and with no hope of the Waverider returning, they move to another city and start their lives together. After 10 weeks of nothing, Sara leaves the other two for a place where she belongs, and Kendra and Ray start their life together as a librarian and a professor. Fast forward 2 years, and the Waverider finally tracks them down, uprooting them from the happy life they were leading. Turns out that while they were playing house, the rest of the team were attacked by Chronos, and once defeated, Snart was kidnapped and the ship was tossed into the timestream. They turned up in 1960 to find Ray and Kendra and then travel to Nanda Parbat when they realised that the League of Assassins was the place Sara was most likely to call home. While all this is going on, we find out that the reason Snart was kidnapped was because Chronos is in fact Mick Rory, ice kind and former Legend. Turns out that Snart didn’t kill his friend, but left him there, only to be found my the Time Masters and trained to become a Bounty Hunter. By the end of the episode, Sara is calmly released from the League of Assassins, Snart is rescued and Chronos is locked up on the ship. The surprising aspect of this episode was Ray and Kendra’s relationship. Ray has fallen in love and had his life turned up side down twice, and for the first time, he’d found someone and settled down, only to have that world ripped from him as well. Once you see where his feelings come from, you really feel for the guy – but at least he gets to keep this girl for a little while longer 😉
friends thumbs up matthew perry joey matt leblanc

And finally, the ones I didn’t mention: Scorpion E21 (I’m so done with this show, one episode left!), NCIS: LA E20, New Girl E13Supernatural E17 (These guys just will not die!), The Big Bang Theory E19 (Sheldon is secret hoarder), The 100 (Crazy Ice Nation girl kills the candidates to become the new Heda forcefully, Clarke goes off with the AI to find a possible other Heda from Lexa’s conclave, Kane, Bellamy and their crew escape but Pike kills Lincoln – HEARTBREAK!)

It’s the end of March already?!

Happy Easter my friends! I hope everyone ate a lot of chocolate and had a truly relaxing weekend 🙂 I decided to start watching Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and so far it’s going alright, but it’s not what I expected, I was expecting more Daredevil and less… Criminal Minds. It is a little creepy, not gonna lie, let’s see how it goes 🙂 The rest of the shows this week were a bit quiet, I guess we’re getting to the slow parts of the season, ready for the finale’s coming in in just over a month. Let’s see how we went:

Quantico E14
This week was more of a “let’s get more information” kind of episode, and not too much action. In the flashbacks, Alex talks to Drew about the Chicago shooting and Liam’s possible involvement, and we discover that Liam was involved in the sting that sold weapons to a white supremacists group, fail to catch them and then go on to kill two people – one of them Drew’s pregnant fiancee. We also find out that Alex and Liam slept together on New Years (am I the only one that though “ew” when we found out?)awkward ew lucille ballMeanwhile nerd-boy Will finds out about Caleb’s other life as Mark Raymond and follows him to a cafe where he’s seen talking to Samar (Shelby’s fake half-sister) and taking money from her – seriously, what the hell is going on there? Nimah also finds out that Raina is undercover at the terrorist cell that kidnapped Charlie, and wants to help but it may be too late, because when Raina returns, the entire supply of guns in the house is missing…

At the present moment, Alex tracks down Asher who’s living in the middle of a forest in snowy Vermont and the few scenes we get between them have some of the best acting I’ve seen both actors give. Asher is suicidal and Alex is not dealing with Vasquez’s death. Ryan and Nimah go find the two of them and on returning back to New York, Alex finally talks to Ryan properly, maybe they can patch things up, partially. Asher also comes to his senses and returns to NY, ready to help Alex as he’s the only one she can trust, and has a plan to catch the terrorists. Let’s go team, we gots this!

Once Upon a Time E14
Man, the family tree is truly messed up after this episode! In this episode, Rumple tells the team that they need to get into Hades’s house, and the only way to do that is if they mask themselves in the aura of another dead person – and who should be call but his ex-wife, Neil’s mother, Hook’s lover – Milah. She is equally shocked when she finds out that Emma was in love with both her lover and her son… awkies! Anyway, they manage to travel through the River of Lost Souls and Emma finds Hook who is inches away from plunging to his own death in the river. We are momentarily going to cut away to a flashback where we see coward Rumple make a deal with a magician to save Baelfire’s life from a snake bite in exchange for his second born child. Milah is furious of course, we see the beginning of her relationship Hook (god dayum, boy) and see Dark One Rumple then come back and kill the magician. Now come back to the present, and Hades has the contract that the magician and Rumple signed (because obvs the magician has unfinished business as is in Underbrooke) and we see that Belle is preggers with Rumple’s child. This just screams LEVERAGE and Hades has Rumple kill Milah, destroy the boat taking them all back to Storeybrooke and effectively work for Hades (Shit. Rumple did not see that coming).

The rest of the team have a quiet episode: Regina talks to Cruella about the graveyard and finds out that Daniel had moved on to somewhere better after Underbrooke. Once both teams get back together, they intend to split Emma’s heart into two (like Snow and Charming) so that Hook can return back with them, but, oh look, another complication. Hades decides that for the three lives they saved, Emma, Snow and Regina are the ones to stay back and take their place, which means that Emma doesn’t actually have a heart to split!! AAAHHHHHH why do you guys make this so god damn complicated?! Sad thing is, I’m too interested in seeing this show through that I can’t even stop at the end of this season! I. Must. Keep. Going. This show hurts my head.coffee morning hangover wake up penelope cruz

Agents of SHIELD E13
Ok, I was totally not expecting so many emotions at the end of this episode! Bobbi and Hunter follow Mallick to Russia where they discover a plot that involves an Inhuman Russian minister overthrowing the current Prime Minister in order to create a “haven” for Inhumans. However, SHIELD have to get involved without being noticed in order not to start an international event, unfortunately, Bobbi and Hunter get caught and Interpol are brought in. The other agents get away and the Prime Minister is safe, but our favourite duo are interrogated and threatened to be put into Russian gulag’s unless they reveal who they are. Now, Coulson steps in and the three of them realise that the only way Bobbi and Hunter can live is if they keep going with there undercover story as holidaying couples, and leave SHIELD with new identities and move to a far away countries, never being able to become agents ever again. The team is outraged, but everyone realises that this is the best, and only option, and the two of them are let free. The last 5 minutes, we see a teary goodbye from everyone and I had dry eyes till Mack said his farewell, and then the tears started flowing (why am I so damn emotional?!) After reading a few sites, I found out that Marvel are hoping to start a show called Marvel’s Most Wanted and that Bobbi and Hunter would be headlining that show, but it’s still in its early stages, and no one really knows how that will go. The episode finally ends with us being introduced to Mallick’s daughter, who knows everything that is happening with Hive and I just can’t help having a feeling that she’s an Inhuman, there’s something funky about her :/

The Flash E16
DC is back this week, and it’s a nice and easy one to get us started. Barry is trying to get as fast as he can to defeat Zoom, and a new speedster called Trajectory makes their appearance in Central City. Turns out she’s a past colleague of Caitlin’s who steals V9 from the labs to get a high and steal from the public. This is when it gets a little awkward – Caitlin and Harry have to tell Barry that there is a drug that can make him faster, but can still have seriously detrimental effects to his health, ie, cell degeneration. He’s of course furious, but doesn’t use the drug, and catches Trajectory eventually. However, she manages to get her hand on a last dose of the drug and as she runs away, her lightening (initially yellow like Barry’s) turns blue before she disintegrates completely and dies. This gets the team thinking about Jay and Zoom and Cisco reveals that he’d been Vibeing – and this is when he tells the team that Zoom is Jay, and Zoom is dying, that’s why he needs Barry’s Speedforce :O Everyone is super pissed off at being betrayed (again), as they should be, but I’m still confused and a bit apprehensive. If Jay is Zoom, then how the hell did JAY get dragged back to Earth 2 BY ZOOM???? Urgh, hurry up and answer my questions guys, I’m DYING!

Arrow E16
This was another returning show and nice easy to start us off. Damian Darhk’s bail hearing is going on and Laurel, with the help of Captain Lance, proves that Darhk, who is claiming not to be Darhk at all, was involved in all the terrible things he’s done, forcing the judge to establish probable cause for the charges, and Darhk is put into custody without bail. The Captain is also put under investgigation for his involvement with Darhk after incriminating himself, and actor of the episode goes to Paul Blackthorne for really giving it his all in this court scene. Meanwhile, Cupid is back (the psycho killer who was obsessed with Arrow) and is killing off celebrity couples, so naturally, Olicity fake a secret wedding and Oliver tries to convince Felicity to get back together but she is just nothaving any of it. They think that they can still work together, but clearly it isn’t working out, so she decides to officially leave Team Arrow in order to save herself from the pain of seeing and being with him every day – fair enough, she needs her space, but don’t give up on her Oli! Keep the ship alive!!!!! Also, the flashbacks are so god damn boring, I give up. I’m not even going to talk about them, its just turning into a thing the writers put in to make the episode last 40 mins, I don’t think half of the viewers even remember what the hell is going on anymore!

The ones I didn’t mention: Scorpion E20NCIS: LA E19 (it’s a really messed up case involving children strapped to suicide vests), Castle E15 (Castle tells Becket about his Loksat discovery in LA), New Girl E12 (We meet Schmidt’s dad for the first time!), NCIS E19, Supernatural E16

meryl streep bye thats all

7 Years Later…

Hola amigos! This was another quiet-ish week, I’m finding that different channels are taking different breaks all over the place, which makes my life easier, because I don’t have a bazillion shows to watch every week. In terms of updates – Fox has announced that the next season of Bones (season 12) will be the last season and we will be saying goodbye to the amazing chemistry that is Booth and Brennan and all the team at the Jeffersonian. As sad as I am that they’re ending it, I think their time has come and all the characters are at stages of their lives that the writers can end the show well. On another note, if you live in Australia, I highly recommend watching the new show on Channel 9 called Here Come the Habibs (if you’re not in Australia, I’m sure you’re smart enough to find a way 😉 ) After three episodes, I think this is an absolutely hilarious, tears-rolling-down-my-cheeks, falling-off-the-couch show. Some people are saying that it’s racist, rude and stereotypical, but you know what? It really doesn’t matter because that’s the point of the show, just take it as it is and have a good laugh!

NCIS: LA E16
WE FINALLY FIND OUT CALLEN’S NAME!jennifer lawrence excited omg

And it was well worth the wait 😀 Carrying on from the last episode, Sam, Anna and G go to Russia and go and rescue Arkady Kolcheck and a CIA operative from a jail under a strict time schedule to avoid causing an international incident. Things don’t go exactly to plan but they end up at a CIA safe house being run by an old man called Garrison – and the minute you look at him, you know that something is up with him. He’s way to comfortable with the crew and looks at G like he knows him – ding ding ding, that’s his father! Just before they are to leave Russia with everyone in tow and alive, G and Garrison have a few minutes to themselves to discuss their relationship, and Garrison tells him he knows all about his son and is proud that he is a good man. He also calls G Grisha (which is the equivalent of Gregory in Russian) and tells him that his name is Grisha Alexandrovich Nikolaev and with the hope that they will meet again and learn more about each other. A few other things happen in the episode, but to be honest, I couldn’t give a damn because, as the title suggests, I waited way too long for this moment to happen 🙂

Castle E12
This episode totally freaked me out but intrigued me at the same time. As a science student that studied psychology courses at uni, it was an interesting case that involved parents that tested their twin children with various techniques to study separation anxiety – making their daughter kill herself and the son withdrawn and mentally unstable. Anyway, the case was interesting and Castle and Beckett were thrown into the deep end with a range of scenarios and different people to deal with and we saw again, how mature and responsible Alexis can be in times where her Dad is in trouble or not so mature. Plus, I love her hair ❤

Agent Carter E08 & E09
Can Peggy and Daniel just get together already, I cannot take all the stares and sexual tension anymore! Just kiss already!
kiss tangled aww now kiss vladimir

This was another two episode joy ride, but wasn’t as complicated as last week. Wilkes and Whitney talk about experimenting on each other to find out about Zero Matter and she is told by the Zero Matter that she needs the uranium rods to recreate the explosion that caused the initial Zero Matter rift to open (she’s hearing voices that Wilkes isn’t – creepy, I know) In the meantime, Anna wakes up and Jarvis learns she can never have children and Peggy, Sousa and Jarvis decide to exchange fake uranium rods for Wilkes’ life. BUUUUUUUT the exchange goes wrong and Wilkes holds a gun to Peggy’s head demanding Sousa to tell him where the real rods are kept, making the most of Sousa’s feelings for her, that sneaky two timing bastard! Sousa tells him that the rods are at the SSR, Wilkes tells Whitney, Whitney tells Masters (You can see where this is going…) BUUUUUUT welcome Jack Thompson, who finally gets his head screwed on properly, and confronts Masters stealing the rods, only to have his memories erased and gets found by Sousa and Peggy. In the end, Whitney manages to open the Zero Matter rift, Wilkes disappear into it, the team uses a Gamma ray gun to close the rift, Wilkes is left behind – oh and Jarvis shoots Whitney in his anger, she survives but then kidnaps Peggy and Jarvis. And that was episode 8.

Episode 9 opens with a lovely musical number, which was Peggy’s hallucinations, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone sing and dance a little. Whitney decides to operate/experiment on Wilkes who knows he’s ticking time bomb ready to explode, after Peggy and Jarvis have escaped their kidnappers and started their journey home. Peggy makes Jarvis go and spend time with this wife, while Jack tells Masters that he should meet with Whitney and use the Gamma gun to kill her BUUUUUUT he double crosses Masters and tells Whitney their plan and that she should kill him when he comes in exchange for a spot on the Council. Peggy punches Masters, and their all kind of on the same side but unknown to anyone, Jack has turned the Gamma gun into a Gamma bomb and intends to blow it up both Masters and Whitney – and doesn’t care that an innocent Wilkes is in the same place and would die as well. But Sousa and the lab tech guy disarm the bomb, much to Jack’s disappointment and Peggy fails in saving Wilkes, with the episode ending with the Zero Matter in Wilkes exploding out of him. Now the issue is that next week is the finale of the season for a whole year, which means that there is a lot that needs to be covered next week and I have too many questions that need to be answered in a 45 minute episode, I CAN’T WAIT!

NCIS E16
Man, you really feel for Tony in this episode, it’s just a very nostalgic episode and plenty of old memories are brought up. Dr Taft and Jeanne come back in a case involved stolen guns and the case comes around to Le Grenioulle and Tony and Jeanne’s past. It was a pretty good episode, and we also get the opportunity to see a close relationship developing between Gibbs and Taft – it’s high time that Gibbs has a friend.

Suits E15
Harvey and Mike have zero faith in themselves and the case that they put up to free Mike, need Donna and Rachel to grow a pair and Louis has a freak out! By the end of the episode, Gibbs has gotten into Mike’s head to take a deal, but keep in mind that next week is the season finale, so I’d be happy to see how this all plays out. Also, it’s been 5 years, and I just feel like this show is coming to an end, I hope they don’t drag it out unnecessarily!

The 100 E06
There were three main scenarios going on this episode, so I’m going to try and summarise it quickly, because tbh, the episode was a bit meh and I found myself reaching for my phone to plan Candy Crush on :/ It was heavy on information and talking and light on the action, at least that’s what I found

  1. Emmerson (the last Mountain-man) is delivered to the Capital and Lexa leaves it to Clarke to decide if they want to kill him or not. Funnily enough, when it comes to avenging the Grounders, Clarke is all “blood must not have blood”, but the minute it’s her own avenging happening, she’s all “yes, let’s kill him, he’s a bad guy” – Thankfully she comes to her senses and banishes him from the land.
  2. Kane bugs Pike’s meeting room and overhear him making plans to eliminate an entire Grounder village in order to use their land to grow crops. Octavia goes to warn the village, instead gets captured and the village creates a trap for Bellamy and his village-extinguishing posse, all but one survive. Pike realises that Kane is a traitor and asks his lapdog Bellamy to find proof (I’m starting to think that Bellamy and Jack Thompson from Agent Carter are cut from the same cloth: easily influenced and shit really needs to hit the fan before they realise they’re on the wrong side)
  3. Raven is cured of all her pain when she has the pill that Jaha gives her, Jasper wants to do the same and Abby is just a little bit concerned as to how the pill works, which is totally understandable. But her assistant, Jackson has taken the mystery magic pill and is on Jaha’s side :/ Anyway, ALIE wants to find the program to upgrade her system, uses Raven to get to it and discovers that there was another section (Section 13) that was not sent up to the Arc, and that section is somewhere on the ground (Hint: With the Grounders) and has the upgrades ALIE needs to – take over the world?!

I don’t know how I feel about the show anymore, it’s not what it started out as, and I haven’t decided if I like these changes or not…

How to Get Away with Murder E12
AH the ending, the ending! Ok so again, if you don’t want spoilers, skip on down past the gif of a shocked Pumba. Alright, the rest of you, man that was a good episode! In the past, we see very preggers Annalise convinces Rose to be a witness for her in the defense of Charles the murdering fiancé. However, on the day of the trial, Rose doesn’t appear to testify, causing the case to fall apart and Annalise returning to Rose to confront her. At the end of that scene, Rose shouts at Christophe and his expression is… not an average angry child face. Meanwhile, Philip Jesup demands $1mil from the team or he’ll send the video incriminating them to the police. Everyone spends the entire episode freaking out, except Wes and Laurel who go to Cleveland to have a look at the case Rose was involved in. In Cleveland, they get super close and finally hook up (actually the first time members of the Keating-5 have hooked up, they lasted almost 2 seasons!) but Laurel discovers something about the case and doesn’t tell Wes. Back in Philly, the team spend a night living their lives (ie. having sex with their respective others), ignore the deadline and discover that Philip is stalking the Keating house. And then enter Laurel, who demands to speak to Annalise about a document that states that Christophe/Wes is the primary suspect in the death of this mum and the scene cuts to a dying Rose on the floor with a Christophe holding a bloody knife – HOLY SHIT WHAT?! DID WES ACTUALLY KILL HIS MOTHER BECAUSE SHE TOLD HIM TO GO TO BED?! WHAT WHAT WHAT?! what omg shocked wut wat

The Flash E15
So after Jay’s “death”, everyone is super emotional and on edge and I can see why, but it got a bit much after the 10 minutes. Harry tells Cisco and Barry not to talk about what happened on Earth-2 but that’s pretty hard considering one saw his best friend as n evil Meta and the other saw his father figure die in front of him. Whilst all this emotional turmoil is going on, Diggle and Lyla (the new Director of ARGUS) visit Central City because King Shark has escaped and is still after The Flash, Wally and Barry are trying to deal with their relationship and Caitlin is slowly turning into Killer Frost. There are some seriously good special effects and computerizations going on between The Flash and King Shark’s but the clincher for the episode comes riiiiiight at the end. If you haven’t seen the episode, please skip ahead to the Arrow section, because there are spoilers up ahead:

ZOOM IS JAY! Well, not exactly, I don’t really know, but once Zoom comes through the breach back to Earth-2 with a dead Jay in his grips, he takes his mask off and has Jay’s face! The thing is with this show, you just can’t guess anything that’s going to happen because there’s alternate universes and time travel and anything is possible. Safe to say, my mind was blown, but now we have to wait till March 22 to get the next episode – damn you writers!television no brooklyn nine nine chelsea peretti thumbs down

Arrow E15
Darhk reveals that he’s kidnapped William and wants Olli to step down from his Mayoral campaign and endorse Ruvé – and oh look, everyone knows about William now. Including Felicity. Who should have been one of the first people but oh well. Team Arrow have no idea where he is so they ask Vixen’s help. For all those out there that aren’t in touch with their comic book side (like me), she’s another DC superhero that uses a totem/necklace to “channel the spirit of any animal” which means that she can channel a gorilla and become super strong etc. Anyway, she locates Will, and of course Darhk beats them, so they decide to steal HIS totem that his giving his magic and destroy it. All in all, the team gets William back (he’s now a huge fan of the Green Arrow, stuff The Flash), they destroy Darhk’s magic, Thea is furious at Malcolm for being a jerk dad and telling Darhk about William, Samantha takes William far away and Olli makes him a video for his 18th birthday. BUT then, Felicity leaves Olli. And you know what the funny/awkward/ironic thing is? She has the microchip in her that would help her walk and just as she leaves her engagement ring on the table in front of Ollie, she regains the use of her legs, gets off her wheelchair and literally struts out of the apartment. Mum and I just looked at each other and shook out heads – one cannot simply be wheelchair bound for months and then get up and walk away, no matter what kind of high tech shit you got in you!

Legends of Tomorrow E06
Ok, first things first. I understand that Stephen Amell is a beautiful man (let’s be honest, he’s the reason I started watching Arrow), and it is hard to hide his natural gorgeousness but the makeup team really needs to get their shit together! In Arrow, we had to deal with three years of his terrible wigs in the flashbacks and in this episode, we had to watch him as an old man with one arm and let’s be honest, when you see what they’ve done to Olli, no one believes it. Ok rant over – this was a pretty cool episode which saw the team in Star City 2046 – the Green Arrow is John Diggle Jr (aka Connor Hawke), Deathstroke is Grant Wilson (son of Slade Wilson), everyone has left Star City, including Felicity and Smoak Enterprises but didn’t take everything with her. In order to save the damaged Waverider, part of the team go back to Team Arrow’s Bat-Cave to find the tech they need plus an old, one-armed Olli Queen. The team does their thing, Rory and Snart have a woring disagreement, Sara and Rip try to understand why both of them are willing to alter the timeline for their families and Palmer and Jacks fight for Kendra’s attention. In the end, all is well, Grant Wilson is killed and Star City is “safe”. It was a pretty cool episode that got more of the DC universe involved but also got you thinking about the things you would do for your friends and family.

The ones I haven’t mentioned: Scorpion E17 (Toby tells the team about him and Happy and they all fight gun-carrying, drug-transporting drones in the middle of a desert), Supernatural E15 (Sam and Dean’s childhood wrestling fantasies come to life), The Big Bang Theory E17 (It’s the 200th episode and we get to celebrate Sheldon’s birthday with a whole heap of guest stars, not as funny as I thought it would be though :/) and New Girl E08.

Hope you guys have a fantastic week, thanks for reading!
