It’s gonna be a long night…

I’m going to have to apologise in advance, this is going to be one of the longer posts I do. There were 7 season finals and 2 of those were double episodes, but I’ll try and condense it as much as I can, as well give my opinions on them. Most of the finals were good, and I will admit, there was definitely some tears shed on my behalf but you’ll be able to tell which shows made me sob like a little baby. Here we go:

Game of Thrones E04
Oh sweet baby Jesus, I wept tears of joy! Have characters ever been happy on this show? No. Did we get a glimpse of happiness when Sansa makes it to Castle Black to meet Jon and they have the most beautiful reunion ever? YES! Episode 4 was a pretty happy episode actually not TOOO many deaths, a few happy moments and bad-ass Dany makes a comeback:

  • Castle Black: Sansa, Brienne and Pod make it to Castle Black and Jon and Sansa catch up on everything that’s happened to them since they parted ways in season 1. Sansa’s been raped, Jon’s been dead, it’s heavy stuff. Also – I’m totally shipping Brienne and Tormund, his attempt at sex eyes while eating a hunk of bread is so cring worthy, I was reminded of someone… me! At the end,  Jon gets a letter from Ramsay saying that he’ll kill Rick if he doesn’t bring Sansa back to him, and Sansa convinces Jon that it’s their fight now, they have to take back Winterfell with the Wildings and Stark Bannermen helping 🙂
  • The Eyrie: We get to see pathetic little Robin Arryn again and his step father Littlefinger as they plan to save his cousin Sansa by joining The Frey’s (yea, don’t do that, that’s never a good idea…) Also, every time I see Robin, I think of this hehe:Testing 1, 2, 3 got talk shit get hit
  • Meereen: Tyrion comes up with an arrangement with the Masters of the Yunkai, Astapor and Volantis tp abolist slavery over 7 years, where they will be compensated for their “losses” in exchange for cutting off their funds to the Sons of Harpy. Missandei and Grey Worm don’t agree with Tyrion, but hesitantly take his side when he’s trying to convince the freed slaves in Meereen. Tyrion’s a smart guy, trust him he knows what he’s doing.
  • King’s Landing: The High Sparrow and Margaery talk and he takes her to see Loras who’s compeltely defeated and wants to confess to everything to make it all stop. Meanwhile,Cersei finds out from Tommen that the High Sparrow intends to make Margaery do the Walk of Shame Shame Shame and so Cersei tells Olena Tyrell to use her army to stop the church and Marg’s walk. As much as I hate Cersei, I can’t wait to see her and old lady Tyrell just shout at some men and own them.
  • Iron Islands: Theon comes home to a furious sister and a dead father, but says that he wants her to rule the Iron Islands and will help her where he can (and maybe get her help to join Jon and kill Ramsay? Revenge!)
  • Winterfell: Ramsay kills Osha because he knows she was the one who helped Rickon escape from Theon. ‘Nuff said, he had no reason to keep her.
  • Dothraki Sea: Daario and Jorah exchange old jokes, infiltrate the Dothraki settlement with no weapons and find Dany in the Dosh Khaleen with the other widows. Dany is then taken to the council and she tells the she wants to rule the Dothraki to which they respond with telling her that they’ll treat her like a whore, and she responds with burning them all alive in the temple. Of course, she’s Daenerys Stormborn The Unburnt, and she emerges from the flames like she did in Season 1, naked but dragon-less, LIKE THE QUEEN SHE IS! When will the Dothraki learn???

Once Upon a Time E22 & 23 (Season Finale)
I have so many notes on these two episodes, I don’t know where to start so I’m going to try and give you the basics of the episode because I had a few issues with the story. We get to see the Land of Untold Stories and meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Henry removes all the magic from the world but then has to get everyone to start “believing” in magic again, Rumple is a dick and Regina is going through some serious stuff when she realises that she will never be able to escape the Evil Queen. Now, first, props to Lana Parrilla again for giving an awesome performance of Regina, you really feel the pain she goes through every time her love dies and she just cannot get away from what she has done. At the end of the episode, Snow uses a serum to separate Regina from her Evil Queen alter ego, and she destroys the Evil Queen… or does she????? Secondly – can the writers please decide if they want to make Henry an adult or a child?? It’s frustrating to see them take a boy to the UNDERWORLD and try to survive it, but then have him treated like a child the rest of the time. And I have a huuuuuuge issue with the scene involving Henry talking to a group of strangers in NYC asking them to believe in magic. No way in Gods green Earth would 50 something people throw coins into a fountain and “wish” for magic just because a teenage kid told them! If this was really New York, someone would call the cops and another person would ask Henry where he gets his drugs from. And lastly, the writers are just regurgitating what they’ve done in the last 5 seasons and there is zero character development going on in terms of trusting people! Not once has Rumple proven himself trustworthy, so why the HELL would you keep trusting him?! Hook, Regina and Zelena have all shown that they can grow, clearly this man cannot! ABC has gone through a scrub through of their shows and culled a few this month, I can only hope they realise that Once Upon a Time has reached its peak and is slowly declining and gracefully cancel the show next season.

Castle E22 (Series Finale)
So as I mentioned last week, ABC decided to cancel Castle last week and this week was the season final episode, and I was very aware that they’ll either leave it as a season end cliffhanger or end the series really badly. But you know what? They did it pretty well. The team hatch a plan to catch Loksat’s accountant using Caleb as bait, but when they find Caleb’s dead body, they realise that it was all a trap. Castle and Beckett are rescued just in time by Mason Wood, one of the detectives that Castle met in LA whilst on the Greatest Detective Society case, who is in touch with Castle’s step-mother. Anyway, the case continues, and Castle is caught, given a truth serum and interrogated by Loksat, who turns out to be Mason himself. He was involved in stuff with the CIA and needed to know who knew about him so gets Castle tell him everything. By the end of the episode, Beckett figures it all out and both her and Castle catch and arrest Mason, opening up an investigation into the CIA and their operations. All is going smoothly and everyone is safe, until a very much alive Caleb returns to their apartment and shoots them both, before being off-ed by Beckett. At this point, I’m going “no no no no you can’t kill them BOTH off!” and I reckon that if the series was to be continued, the episode would have ended on that cliffhanger. However, we got a lovely “7 years later” moment where we see a very happy Caskett enjoying breakfast with their 3 lovely children, all safe and sound. The. End. Thank you to Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Molly Quinn, Tamala Jones, Seamus Driver, Jon Huertas and Susan Sullivan for giving the fans a funny, emotional and action packed series from start to finish and keeping us entertained for 8 solid years. You will be missed ❤castle fandom castle crew castillions caskett moments castle season 3

Quantico E22 (Season Finale)
I have a stackload of notes from this episode, but when I look back on it, it really wasn’t that complicated. In the flashbacks, everyone gets ready for graduation and Alex and Ryan break up because once again, Alex finds out that Ryan is lying about going to DC, he’s heading to Texas. Shelby still hates everyone and decides to ruin Caleb’s graduation by telling his mum what he’s been up to (which of course, is the wrong side of the story) and Miranda says goodbye to the twins but is unable to attend the ceremony. In the present, we get a 4 minute montage showing Liam sabotaging Alex from the minute he gets the job at Quantico, which I think was a really good way of showing what he’s done and how he’s done it.Meanwhile, he’s kidnapped Miranda and starts to lead the team to find her and the bomb. But the team is too smart for him, they discover discrepancies in his story and Miranda’s timeline doesn’t match up to when the Voice calls Alex and Shelby. Ryan goes after Liam but is kidnapped as well, and Alex discovers that Liam is the terrorist after meeting his daughter. They guess that because he’s trying to topple the FBI and the best way to do that is to bomb the graduation ceremony taking place, so they all get to Quantico. They find Ryan and a barely alive Miranda and Ryan, and Alex finds Liam and the bomb. He rants about how he hated the FBI for making him lie and cover up for people and how he was trying to get Alex to quit the FBI so he can frame her for being angry with the FBI and all that. Alex has NONE of it and goes in for the kill shot, shooting Liam, saving Ryan and finding the bomb as well. But what the hell are the team going to do with the bomb?! They can’t detonate it safely, nor can they evacuate the building, and while they’re arguing, Simon grabs the bomb, and drives off with it towards a body of water. He says his goodbyes to everyone explaining the guilt he felt for denotating the second bomb and designing this one, and at the last second, goes off a bridge and the bomb goes off safely in the water, saving everyone. Tears. Tears everywhere.sad crying how i met your mother robin cobie smulders

Now here’s the rubbin’. Remember that box of blood pressure pills that the Voice tells Alex to switch out from Claires handbag? Well turns out, Claire doesn’t have a blood pressure problem, which leads Alex to confront the now Vice President at Simon’s funeral. She says that with Liam destroying the FBI with Claire and blaming Alex, they would together rebuild the FBI with Liam leading. But after declaring Alex a hero, Liam goes off on his own feeling betrayed by his partner in crime. Claire asks for proof, Alex has none, but Caleb has just heard everything and Claire knows she has to look out. Any way, Miranda is the Deputy Director now and reinstates Shelby, but unfortunately Alex gets the boot, giving her the opportunity to go and spend time with Ryan and return to her mum in Oakland – but only for 2 months. She gets a surprise visit from Matthew Keyes in the CIA and is asked to join, but the offer only stands for a minute, then it’s gone. I was wondering how they would continue the story seeing as she’s not in Quantico anymore, but I guess Shonda Rhimes will think of something. That was a pretty good first season, let’s see how they continue the story in season 2!

NCIS E24 (Season Finale)
Nothing else matters in this episode except that:
1. Ziva dies.
2. There’s a little baby Tiva called Tali.
3. Tony leaves NCIS to be with his daughter.

Now that I’ve said that, can you imagine the tears that were flowing down my face the entire 40 minute episode?! First, we went through the pain of watching Tony deal with Ziva’s death. Then the head of the Moussad brings Ziva’s daughter, Tali, into NCIS and says that Tony is the father, but Ziva didn’t want to interrupt the life that he had here and was independent enough to look after her own daughter. And THEN, Tony realises that Tali knows exactly who he is and knows that for the rest of his life, all he wants to do is be with her and love her forever. And lastly, possibly the most beautiful scene was watching Gibbs and Tony part ways in Gibb’s basement, I’m tearing up just thinking about it now. Oh and just as a side note, they catch Trent Kort (killer of Ziva and just all round bad guy) and he tries to shoot his way out of an arrest, only to be shot multiple times my Tony, Gibbs, McGee, Bishop, FBI Agent Tess Monroe and MI6 agent Clayton Reeves – revenge is sweeeeeeeeet! It was a lovely season final, and I can’t wait to see how the team functions next season without Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo. Michael Weatherly, thank you for being such an amazing person and creating such a diverse and deep character for the last 13 years. Watching Tony DiNozzo develop over the last decade has been truely amazing and you deserve all the credit, the fans wish you all the best in the future ❤ncis tony dinozzo jsncisstuff tonyd dinozzo smile

Agents of SHIELD E21 & 22 (Season Finale)
God damn more tears! This was a double episode and really, it will take me about a day to type up everything that happened so I’ll try and condense. From Daisy’s intel the team finds the nuclear missile, disconnect the warhead but Hive manages to escape with it. However, Mack manages to create a device that kinda, scrabbles Hive’s mind, making the memories of his victims intermingle with his actual self, giving us a weakened and vulnerable evil alien. Daisy is still coming to terms with what she did while under Hive’s control and the only one who helps her is Mack, what a beautiful chocolate man. But what the team realise is that Daisy has told Hive everything, including the high altitude capabilities of the Zephyr so Hive plants a box in the base hanger, releasing Dr Radcliffe’s creation onto SHIELD agents, and converting them into the “primitives” or Hive’s minions. Anyway, the minions almost kill Fitz but the team doesn’t realise that Daisy has made her way back to the Zephyr and begs Hive to take her back because she can’t deal with the pain – WHAT ARE YOU DOING MATE?! Anyway, thanks to Lash, Daisy becomes impervious to Hive’s parasites and can’t be controlled so she tries to kill him but is stopped by James who rescues Hive, takes Daisy and gets the Zephyr going. The team has 31 mins to get the warhead to safety and a lot of complications happen so the main thing you need to know is everyone gets on the Zephyr but an injured Lincoln and Hive end up on the Quinjet with the war head, and Lincoln flies the Quinjet into space and the team watches it blow up safely, killing Lincoln and Hive but saving millions as well. Watching Daisy completely breakdown was so heartbreaking but at the end of the episode we see Coulson, no longer the Director of SHIELD, and Mack tracking her down but she evades them and runs away – but WHYYYYYY? And at the end we see Dr Radcliffe create an AI called Aida – is this going to be another Ultron type situation? Have we not learned from Stark’s mistakes????!!!

Legends of Tomorrow E16 (Season Finale)
Alrighty, so now that there is no Occulus or controlling Time Masters, Rip drops everyone back in Star City in May 2016 (Sara finds out about Laurel and oh my god, the tears). But the team just aren’t having it and manage to call back the Waverider and get a message from Kendra through time to come get her in France in 1944. They find her and trry to rescue her and Carter, but Savage takes her away and they figure out Savage’s plan. He wants to destroy time itself and return back to the first major change in history, back in 2000 BC when the first meteor hit Egypt. In order to do so, he needs to be with the meteor in three different times (1958, 1975 and 2021) and detonate all three at the same time. And thanks to time travel, he can now do this but mwahahahaha the team has the Waverider and stop him! And what Savage doesn’t realise is that while the meteors are “loading” so to speak, he becomes immortal, allow the team to kill him three times 🙂 One meteor can’t be destroyed, so Rip sacrificies himself to go dropit into the sun, but come on, he’s a Time Master, so he just time jumps after dropping it and all is well! Now that Savage is gone and the Time Masters can’t manipulate time, Rip asks the team to help him simply protect the timeline, which they all do, except Carter and Kendra who decide to go and be happy together. But just when things are going well, MIKE ROSS from Suits appears! Lol jokes, the actor, Patrick J Adams comes in as Rex Tyler,a member of the Justice Society of America, and he’s come to save our Legends. Now I assume you’re all thinking “Justice Society of America? Surely, that’s the Justice League of America, right?” And you are right. The Justice Society of America is the precursor to the famous superhero team up we know and Rex Tyler is Hourman, so looks like Season 2 is going to get a WHOLE lot bigger!!!!
happy excited scream jonah hill elated

The 100 E16 (Season Finale)
Season finale and all you really need to know is that they defeat Allie, everyone comes to their senses and they’re set up season 4 really well. Because Ontari is dying, Clarke hatches a genius plan to get Abby to give her a blood transfusion exchanging her blood for the Black blood, and then put the Flame in her so she can go into the City of Lights, kind Allie’s kill switch and shut her down. She gets some help from Lexa and Raven in the City, while Murphy, Abby, Bellamy, Pike, Octavia and the gang protect her body and make sure the blood is still flowing. In the end, she meets Becca and Allie but pulls the trigger on Allie but not before finding out that all the remaining nuclear plants on Earth have started to melt and the humans have only 6 months until Earth is uninhabitable. Poor old Clarke gets back to her body, sees half her friends beaten up and the other half crying, and looks and Bellamy and doesn’t even have good news to tell him. These guys cannot catch a break, I’d love to see how they get out of the next mess in season 4!
harry potter idk shrug confused dumbledore

Supernatural E22 (Witches, demons, angels, Rowena, Crowley, Lucifer, Cas, Sam, Dean and God all get together to defeat Amara, they fail, Lucifer dies, Sam has the Mark and God is almost dead. Shit.), The Flash E22 (Zoom uses Laurel Lance’s doppleganger, Black Siren, to keep Barry busy and the team finds a way to capture all the metahumans at once. But then Zoom does the unthinkable when he kills Henry in front of Barry to try and make him more like Zoom. HOLY SHIT I DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING, TEARS EVERYWHERE! But to be honest, I was secretly happy it wasn’t Joe, he’s been more of a father to Barry than Henry will ever be (not his fault though) and I think Barry would be worse off without Joe 😦 ), Bones E16 (Aubrey used to be in an acapella group and the Pentatonix make a guest appearance), Arrow E22 (Felicity, Curtis and Noah manage to get Rubicon offline, Oli and Diggle get into the Ark to find a drugged Thea, defeat Machin but not before he kills Ruve. Oli and Diggle manage to save everyone in the Ark before it collapses on itself but Darhk comes to Felicity’s house to seek revenge for his wifes death :/ )

Finals are starting!

OK, just a quick update on what the haps is now that we’re coming to the bittersweet end the seasons. ABC released news this week that Agent Carter has been cancelled, and I may have cried a little, though petitions have been started to try and get Netflix to take it up along with all their other Marvel shows. And another shock: Castle has been cancelled :O After 8 seasons of Castle and Beckett, Stana Katic (Beckett) was not given a contract to renew her position and a few days ago, ABC announced that after next weeks season finale, the show will be ending. I really, really hope that they manage to end it well! If Beckett doesn’t get to Loksat and the series ends with a cliffhanger, I will be one very upset person.
upset ben affleck depressed sad affleck sad

Game of Thrones E03
Rickon is back! And god damn, we almost, almost got to see Lyanna Stark and find out if Jon is half Targaryen but noooooo… way to keep us waiting! Here what happened this week:

  • At the Wall: Hello, naked Jon 😉 Melisandra asks Jonabout the afterlife (heads up, he remembers nothing), and Davos Seaworth offers him support and tells him to keep persevering. At the end of the episode, Jon has to hang Thorne, Ollie and the two other traitors and man, I didn’t think I would ever be happy to see that boy killed. Jon then pulls out one last move, gives his cloak and Castle Black over to Edd and declares that his watch is now over. W.O.W. Ok, time to go rescue the remnants of your family and go back to Winterfell.barack obama done mic drop im out finished
  • Sam and Gilly: They’re on their way to the Citadel and Sam tells Gilly that he will have to leave her and Little Sam with his mother and sister in Old Town while he goes off to learn to be a Maester.
  • Bran: The Three Eyed Raven shows Bran Ned’s life after Robert Baratheon defeats the Mad King, Ned and Howland Reed go to the Tower of Joy where Lyanna is held in order to free her, but are confronted by Ser Arthur Dayne of the Kingsguard. Bran is shocked to discover that Ned didn’t defeat Dayne, but Reed stabbed him in the back just as he was about to kill Ned. Ned heads up the Tower but the Raven pulls Bran (and all of us) back. Dammit Raven. 1 more minute!
  • Daenerys: She’s brought to the Dosh Khaleen and told that because she didn’t return to the temple immediately after Khal Drogo died, her fate will be decided by the Khalar Vezheven (I think that’s like the Dothraki council…)
  • Meereen: Greyworm, Missandei and Tyrion have the most awkwardest moments and almost play Never Have I Ever (good to know that even in fictional worlds, they like to play normal drinking games) but are interrupted by Varys who has coerced a conspirator to give up information on how the Sons of Harpy are funding their rebellion. Time to talk to the Masters of Yunkai, Volantis and Astapor, maybe even fight them :/
  • King’s Landing: Cersei, Jaime and Gregor as Qyburn to use Varys’ “little birds” (little kids) to find out who is talking against their families, and find out information about Dorne. The three of them then go to a meeting of the Small Council, and are victim to Olena Tyrell’s sass. Cersei wants to know what is happening now that the Sand Snakes have taken over Dorne but the Small Council leaves, saying they don’t have to include the Queen Mother in any more decisions, ouch. Meanwhile, Tommen has a heart-to-heart with the High Sparrow.
  • Braavos: she’s still getting tested by the Waif, but seems to pass all her tests, because Jaqen H’ghar gives her the water from the Death-Pool thingy and she gets her eyesight back, interestingggggg
  • Winterfell: Lord Umber comes to Bolton to ask for help fighting the Wildlings but refuses to pledge his house to theirs. Instead, he gives the Rickon Stark (all grown up!) and Osha and to prove that he’s really a Stark, he produces the head of Shaggydog, Rick’s direwolf. Now, more than one person out there is pissed off, can they please stop chopping the heads off of innocent doggies? Secondly, maybe Umber is playing Bolton and is trying to return a Stark back to Winterfell, and Shaggydog is still alive, ready to protect Rick. Who knows?!

Once Upon a Time E21
Well that was an emotional rollercoaster I was not prepared for! Thing’s got a little complicated,so I’ll try and make this simple. Everyone returns to Storeybrooke and the first thing Hades does is kill King Arthur (just wait, it makes sense in a bit), and we find out Hades has an Olympian crystal to take while Rregina tries to convince Zelena that Hades is still evil. The Charming’s try to find a way to kill Hades, and Emma is not dealing well without Hook (which is totally understandable) but Hook meets up with Arthur in the Underworld and find the ripped out pages of the Once Upon a Time book. The pages reveal that Hades can be killed with the crystal he possesses, and Hook puts the pages back in the Underworld book, which means that the Storeybrooke book gains those pages and Emma can see how to kill him (complicated, I know, they don’t really explain it).

Anyway, by the end of the episode, Regina and Robin come for the baby but are stopped by Hades, who intends to kill Regina, but Robin jumps in the way and sacrifices himself, NOOOOOOOOO! Zelena comes in and both parties are trying to convince her who is right, and in the end, she realises what Hades intends to do and stabs him with the crystal, WOOOO! But then the feels hit me, because both Robin and Hook are gone, and now what’s the point of the show! Back in the Underworld, Arthur realises that maybe this was his kingdom and Hook heads towards the light to meet Zeus. Zeus thanks him for helping kill Hades and says “Go that way, it’ll take you to where you belong” and I’m sitting there going “yes, yes back to Storeybrooke, come on!!!” Scene change and we’re at Robin’s funeral, Zelena decides to name her little girl Robin, and Emma is having a moment by herself when WHAM! Incoming Hook, all alive and well thanks to Zeus’s magic! But wait, that wasn’t the end, one last twist – Rumple finds the pile of ash that was once Hades and puts his hand in to find a broken part of the Olympian crystal, this is sooooooo not good :/ There’s a two part season finale next week, stay tuned!

New Girl E21 & E22 (Finale)
This week we had a double episode to finish off season 5 of New Girl and I really enjoyed it! In episode 21, Schmidt has to rewrite his vows, Winston and Aly say I love you to each other, Coach is back!, Sam breaks up with Jess because he’s in love with his best friend and obviously, Nick, and  Schmidt’s mum and her girlfriend get engaged. And this ALLLLL happens while they’re playing True American (I really need to find out the rules for that, it looks awesome!) Anyway, in the season finale, Schmidt gets on a plane to Portland to try and convince Cece’s mum to come to the wedding but instead gets delayed on the tarmac all day. Cece’s mum does end up coming to the wedding, and the wedding festivities continue with everyone except Schmidt who celebrates it all via his phone and an iPad. But by the end of the episode, he’s made it back to the apartment and is surprised to find his friends and family all ready for his wedding to Cece and they have a BEAUTIFUL Jewish-Hindu wedding, and it’s so sweet and lovely, I almost cried. Now here’s the clincher – Jess realises that she still has feelings for Nick but before she can do anything about it, Reagan surprises Nick by being his date and Jess ends up helping the two of them sort out their issues. And your heart breaks a little. But then Nick says that he’s going to start a relationship with Reagen and because she’s going to spend 3 months in New Orleans, he’s going with her. Now, I’m sad because I want everyone to find love and be happy, but I’m also wondering what is going to happen on the show. When they got together the first time, the chemistry and hilarity of the show just died, and I’m worried it might happen again! But all in all, it was a great season finale, can’t wait for the next season!new-girl new girl thumbs up nick miller teamwork

Quantico E21
Lemme break it down for ya. Things got super complicated but it really wasn’t so lets do this! In the flashbacks, Shelby gets a real letter from her parents and tries to lure them into America with fake witness protection documents in order to get them to pay for what they’ve done. Instead, Alex, Liam, Ryan, Caleb and Iris all get involved and Shelby’s mum escapes, and Shelby is PISSED. Meanwhile, Alex discovers that her father and Liam maybe have nudged the militia into the attack in Omaha to catch them and it didn’t end well, and the FBI tried to hush it all up. Ryan decides that he doesn’t like the way Liam is always involved in cover ups and makes the decision not to follow him to DC. Also, Raina is a little conflicted but decides to chose working with her sister over getting away from it all with Simon. The flashbacks were pretty simple this week, and Priyanka’s side hair look amazing #hairgoals.

Back to the present, Alex is driving around the city,  And Shelby and Claire get every one (Ryan, Nimah, Raina, Caleb, Miranda) to try and find the vehicle. Miranda mysteriously disappears from the building, making Ryan very suspicious. We see that Drew and Simon have been drugged and tied up in an abandoned apartment, and  the terrorist is using Drew’s voice to talk to Alex. The apartment has a trip wire connected to a bomb and when Ryan and his team arrive, the bomb goes off, killing Drew but Simon escapes. Once everyone is back together, Simon manages to convince Alex that it was all theatrics and the bomb isn’t even activated, leaving everyone safe and sound. But then, the bomb, that comes into the FBI’s possession is stolen and the next scene is Miranda snooping around a house, finding a computer with multiple monitors with camera feeds to everyone’s apartments and the FBI office. She turns around and is shot by Liam, holding a gun and the bomb, saying that he’s trying to make everything right. friends wow omg shocked joey tribbianiHOLY SHIT ON A POPSICLE STICK! They’re probably going to manipulate his words next episode to show that he isn’t the terrorist, but I don’t care, I don’t like him and he looks shifty AF. Season 1 finale next week, let’s see how they play this out!

Agents of SHIELD E20
Coulson gives a tour of SHIELD to Talbot, while May and Lincoln trick Daisy into helping Lincoln escape. Lash takes Lincoln’s place, he fights and injures Hive without getting infected, take the parasites out of Daisy and help her escape but James the fire-Aussie kills Lash before they can take off back to SHIELD 😦 Oh and Hive now has a group of ugly as soldier things under his control made from the Kree blood and the crazy doctors experiments. Talbot also tells the team that the thing that Hive stole from the lab was a warhead, and Hive has everything he needs now to explode the terrigen crystals over the Earth and infect millions :/

The Flash E21
Well this was a super weird episode, but the main thing to gather from this episode is BARRY IS BACK! He spends the episode in the Speedforce and I guess everyone is confused because like Barry, we assume the Speedforce is like, gravity. But instead, it seems to be a state of being almost, where Barry finally comes to terms with his mothers death and returns back to the lab with all his powers intact. While he’s been away, Henry takes care of a comatose Jesse, Iris and Joe deal with a zombie version of Girder (remember the metal dude that has a thing for Iris?) and Harry and Cisco work on getting Barry back. By the end of the episode, Barry comes back ad manages to help them capture Girder and wakes up Jesse, maybe she has the Speedforce too? Henry decides that he’s going to stay in Central City and at the end of the episode, we see Zoom talking to all his meta human minions in the CCPD building, they’re going to take over this Earth and he wants Caitlin to chose a side :/

Arrow E21
Felicity, Diggle and Oli find out that they have 21 hours to hack into Rubicon and stop the nuclear weapons from denotating and Felicity needs her father, Noah Butler, to come in and help out. Of course, while Oli goes to get him, Darhk uses his men to come after Noah as well, but Oli and Diggle win and Felicity meets her dad again. They manage to get into Palmer Tech (after Felicty is fired and removed from the building) in order to steal a piece of tech that will help them crack Rubicon. They can’t steal it, so they copy it and use it to try and stop all but one of the missiles from being launched and Lyla tells Felicity to redirect it from Monument Point to Haven Rock, killing tens of thousands, but saving millions as well :/ Oli also realises that the place where Darhk is probably hiding out with his idol is under City Hall. Meanwhile, in the Ark, Merlyn and Thea have to take on Machin who wants to shut down the life support and him and Thea fight, but Alex becomes collateral damage and dies. Can all these good people please stop dying?! And you’ll never see him or Tommy or Moira come back! Nooooo, it’s always the bad guys that are reborn, never the good guys (except Sara :/ )!

Legends of Tomorrow E15
The team are all separated and discover that the Time Masters have been using an object called the Occulus to allow them to manipulate time, allow Savage to time travel and set events in motion that allow the future to happen the way they want it. Rip also finds out that the Time Masters were the ones who ordered his families death, and sees the future, and Ray’s death. The Time Masters also capture Mick and try to brainwash him back into Kronos but he’s too good for that, and ends up helping the rest of the team in meeting up with Snart in Sara. Kendra is captures with Carter and is taken on a field trip with Savage. In the end, the team decides that the only thing they can do is destroy the Occulus, but requires someone to sacrifice themselves while the device is destroyed. Rip realises this is how Ray dies, but Rory isn’t having any of it, so pushes him out of the way and sacrificies himself. But in typical hero fashion, Snart decides he’s going to die, so knocks Rory out, and sacrifices himself, getting a goodbye kiss from Sara on the way. Jacks arrives back from 2016, and everyone escapes (but Snart 😦 ) and now there is no set timeline but sadly Rip’s family still dies despite everything they’ve done. Now SURELY, Snart can’t stay dead right? They’re time travellers, come on!

The 100 E15
Clarke, Rowan (the Ice clan King), Bellamy and Octavia make a plan to infiltrate Polis, remove Allie from Ontari and put the flame in her so that they can defeat Allie. Of course things don’t go to plan and everyone gets captures, but to the rescue are Murphy, Pike and Indra. Clarke is separated from the group and its tortured by her own mother to give the phrase that will activate the Flame, but she doesn’t so Allie orders Abby to hang herself to try and get it out of Clarke, but Clarke. Doesn’t. Budge. Some would say that was heartless and cold, letting her mother die like that, but Clarke is a smart girl, she’ll deal with her pain while saving more people. Anyway, Murphy and Bellamy come to Clarke’s rescue, Bellamy shoots Jaha before he can kill Ontari, Murphy saves Abby but Clarke and Bellamy find Ontari on the ground, alive but brain dead, which means the 100 really have no hope now. And while AAAAALL of this is happening, we find out that Jasper was the one to bring Allie to Arkadia and Jasper stabs Monty and attacks Monty’s gf in order to try and get into the workshop and stop Raven from getting back into Allie’s program. With one more episode to do and no sign of the team actually winning, I’m very keen to see what happens!

NCIS E23 (Fornell is alive, Jacob Scott is innocent and being framed and he’s trying to get in contact with Ziva in Tel Aviv who has inherited some documents that prove his innocence, but she could be in some trouble of her own – Season Finale next week!), Castle E21 (actually freaked me out for a bit, damn cinematography! But get ready for next week’s series finale 😦 ), Supernatural E21 (we meet a new Prophet of God called Donatello, Metatron, Sam and Donatello rescue Lucifer from Amara who is being distracted by Dean, but Chuck saves them all, Metatron dies and Chuck is reunited with Lucifer), Bones E15 (Hodgins and Angela work things out and Aubrey finds out his criminal father is back in America), The Big Bang Theory E24 Finale (Sheldon’s mum and Leonard’s dad have a not so secretive hookup 😉 ) and Legends of Tomorrow E15.

Jaw Drops

So this week, every single episode had some kind of shocking twist/death/betrayal so, before we start, I’m warning you. There will be plenty of spoilers and I’m not going to do the whole “skip to this part if you don’t want spoilers” because this post would go on FOREVER if I did that. So sit back and relax as we go through this weeks shockers:

Game of Thrones E02
 JOOOOOOOOOOON SNOWWWWWWWWWWW.
To be honest, that the only thing that really matters in the episode, I can die happy this week knowing that Jon Snow is alive and can save Westeros like he was meant to all along. Other things that happened in the episode that don’t really matter:

  • Bran is seeing Ned’s life when he was younger whilst under the tutelage of Three Eyed Raven so I guess this is how we’re going to learn more about Lyanna and her death (and maybe Jon’s birth?????)
  • Davos Seaworth, Edd, the other men along with Tormund and the Wildlings fight and defeat Thorne and hold the power of Castle Black
  • Tommen and Cersei patch things up (he thinks that she is the one that killed Tristane) and Jaime has a very threatening conversation with The Sparrow at Myrcella’s funeral
  • Jaquen H’ghar tests Arya and she passes, telling her that she’s no longer a beggar
  • Ramsay goes on a killing spree at Winterfell and kills Roose, his Walder step-mother and his new legitimate half-brother in order to take control of the troops for himself and take on Castle Black with the support of the other Northern families like the Karstarks.
  • Brienne tells Sansa about when she met the Hound and Arya and Theon says he won’t accompany Sansa but wants to return to the Iron Islands, back home – no Reek, you’re supposed to go and get your revenge on Ramsay! You and Sansa are a team!
  • Yara (Theon’s sister) argues with her father Balon about not rescuing Theon and losing their strongholds and then Balon is killed by one of his brothers, either Victarion or Euron ( I don’t really know) :O We finally meet Aeron “Damphair” Greyjoy, Priest of the Drowned God, who informs Yara that she will have to compete against her uncles in the King’s Moot to decide who will rule the Iron Islands next. Yara is the best choice which means that she’ll probably die soon.
  • On Meereen, we discover that Astapor and Yunkai have been overtaken by the Masters again and no longer slave free and Tyrion grows the biggest pair of balls when he heads to the dragons, talks to them and gains their trust when he unchains them from the chains Daeny puts them in
  • Thanks to Seaworth’s thinking, MELISANDRE BRINGS BACK JON SNOWWWWWW – I think we’re all believers of R’hllor, the Lord of Light now. Praise the lord!

Quantico E20
DREW IS THE TERRORIST!
shocked surprised cats shocked cat excitedOk, I’ll backtrack – I wasn’t too impressed with this weeks episode to be quite frank, and this whole super flirty Alex is just not to my liking. I mean, Drew has been gone 1 week and she’s already shamelessly flirting with Ryan, who, might I add, wanted to be with her and SHE was the one who said she couldn’t deal with him. And now she’s all over him, hinting at dates when she’s no longer a NAT – woman, keep it in your pants! Anyway, in the flashbacks, the team goes to the Richmond branch to help the agents there, the twins mess up their assignment, Alex almost kills Fletcher and Shelby finds out about Caleb lying to her about her parents. It ends with her called Mr. Haas and giving him all the information she has about her fugitive parents – guess she’s out for revenge. In the present time I think the most important thing to know is DREW IS THE VOICE! HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE! Of course, the writers could do the same thing that they did with Shelby and say that Drew is being blackmailed, but after using Alex to pin the blame on Ryan, Alex and Shelby figure out that it’s Drew! At the end of the episode, Drew tells Alex to get into Ryans truck (which has a bomb in it btw) and drive. WOW, with a few episodes left, I was not expecting this twist!

Once Upon a Time E20
DON’T LEAVE HOOOOOOOOOK!
Urgh Hades, why you do dis? For the first half of the episode, I actually trusted you! Rumple and Pan kidnap Zelena and in exchange for her freedom, Hades has to rip up the contract he has. Of course he does this, but in exchange for getting extra protection/help from Emma, he says that he’ll wipe the names of the headstones so they can all get back to Storeybrooke. Anyway, contract ripped, Zelena given back, portal to Storeybrooke open, but Hook’s body refuses Emma’s split heart because he’s been dead too long. So once again the heroes split up: Hades, Zelena and her baby wait at the portal and eventually go through, Robin, Regina, Henry and Charming try and solve everyone else’s unfinished business but are stopped by Cruella who wants to rule Underbrooke now and Emma and Hook go to down into the Underworld to find some ambrosia, the food of the Gods, to help restore Hook to his body. However, all the ambrosia is gone (of course Hades destroys it, he’s a dick) and Hook tells Emma to leave him behind and go back, NOOOOOO! Hook please don’t leave the show, you’re dark hair, blue eyes, guyliner and accent are the only good things left!
cat reaction omg shocked shockAnyway – Emma and Regina figure out that Hades has been cheating them, break free of Cruella’s imprisonment and everyone goes through the portal, including Rumple. He has his own deal with Pan, and double crosses him, giving him a heart filled with water from the River of Souls which finally kills Pan – Wooohoooooo, I never liked him anyway, mean, conniving, evil little boy. Anyway with everyone, minus Hook, back in Storeybrooke, it’ll be interesting to see what happens next week. Also, we also get to see the origins of Emma’s red leather jacket in the flashbacks, very interesting 🙂

NCIS E20
THEY KILL AGENT FORNELL!
Nooo whyyyyy? Nothing really gripping all episode – the team has a case, Tony is in the UK and Russie trying to track down Jacob Scott, who killed Tom Morrow and Fornell and Vance go to the UK to try and get a former MI6 agents help. They are attacked at her farm in England but managed to get her back to America to help track Scott down. Unfortunately, while in Gibbs’ house, the agent and Fornell are attacked by a masked shooter and the last scene is Fornell reaching for his phone as his daughter is calling him…

Supernatural E20
CHUCK SHURLEY IS GOD! WE’RE GETTING SOMEWHERE!
OK, so if you don’t remember (because I didn’t :/), Chuck is the dude who, in the series, is given the skill of looking into the future and writes books about Dean and Sam’s adventures under the pen-name Edlund Carver. In this weeks episode, Metatron is kidnapped and taken to a bar, where he finds Chuck sitting and writing a book – The Memoirs of God. Metatron realises that Chuck is God and just left humanity to sort itself out after he believes his experiment went wrong. Metatron spends the entire episode trying to appeal to his “kind” mature but h just realises that God knows what Amara is doing and is willing to let her in order to clean the world and start all over again, just like natural selection in nature. Metatron is shocked to hear this, and tries to convince him otherwise, and the episode ends with Dean and Sam finding out that Chuck is God. It was a bit full on, but I’m glad it happened because things are finally coming together!

The Flash E20
BARRY BLOWS UP! LIKE PROPER EVAPORATES INTO THIN AIR!
So basically, Harry Wells finds a way to recreate the particle accelerator explosion to give Barry back his speedforce, but Barry’s a bit hesitant if he wants to go through it all over again. Meanwhile, Rupture, Cisco’s brothers Earth-2 meta-human doppelganger is out for revenge and Zoom comes back with Caitlin, threatening to kill every one on the CCPD if they go against him. Barry brings his father back to the city to add to the confusion, people die, Iris confesses her feelings, Wally and Jesse are locked away for safe keeping and Barry realises that he needs to be the Flash in order to be the best version of himself. And cue – disaster! The circumstances of the explosion are the same as what originally happens, except this time Barry goes BOOM! Like, just explodes into thin air, but what we also see, is the speedforce leaving him and possibly smashing into Wally and Jesse – does that mean they have powers now? And what happened to Barry?! The episode ended on a cliffhanger, thank god it wasn’t the season finale. But they can’t really have The Flash without… you know, The Flash! Can they????supernatural shocked jensen ackles shock gasp

Arrow E20
DIGGLE KILLS ANDY!
Yea this week was a bit full on, but I liked it. The team splits apart this week because they can’t get to Darhk without defeating his magic: Thea goes on a weekend away with Alex, Diggle lays low with his family and Oli and Felicity go meet Constantine’s friend to learn about magic. Anyway, Diggle is an idiot and tries to go after Andy, and in 40 minutes, manages to get shot at, captured, tortured, shot at again, put his wife and child in danger and then finally loses his shit and shoots his brother dead. FINALLY! Oli, meanwhile, learns that in order to defeat Darhk’s darkness, he needs to use the light in him and deflect it, or else the darkness in him will only fuel Darhk’s powers. He manages to do this when Darhk attacks Lyla, but he gets away with a chip which contains all the information controlling the nuclear weapons in the world and the team realises that the Hive project Genesis is much like Noah’s Ark and Darhk intends to lay waste to the world and start over. What we then realise is that Alex has been taking the same mind controlling yellow pills Darhk was giving his men and Thea’s been taken to some dome thing which she can’t get out of. Think about the show Under the Dome, it’s like that but much much creepier.

The 100 E14
ALLIE GETS TO LUNA!
Can these guys just not catch a break?! Number 1: Luna refuses to take the Flame and become the Commander and defeat Allie. Number 2: Clarke tries to trick her, gets owned and gets sent back into the container to be sent back to land. Number 3: Luna’s own people attack her after they take the pill from Jaha and Allie knows about Luna, but Luna manages to escape and kills her boyfriend. Number 4: Luna drugs Jasper, Octavia, Bellamy and Clarke and puts them back on land. Bellamy captures the moment perfectly – “Now what?”. Now let me just inform you on Allie’s power sources. From what I understand, she is on the servers in Arkadia and gets her power from there but there is a back up source in the backpack that Jaha has been carrying around for this season. Murphy tells Indra and Pike about the pack and they decide to destroy it, but Emori tells them that it has a nuclear fuel cell and the whole city will blow up if they destroy it incorrectly. Unfortunately for them, Raven is back at Arkadia, and goes ahead to try and find out Allie’s secrets without Allie 2.0 to take over, and Allie realises that she has to leave the Arkadia servers and move to the backpack, ie. Raven seriously messes up and the team have no way to destroy Allie, now that she’s moved servers and Monty is seriously pissed. Allie manages to get Emori to stall Murphy and Pike, and Allie has time to make the migration and start transmitting from the escape pod and back up server. So basically Team 100 are back where they started, no Commander with Allie 2.0 and no way to destroy Allie. Hoorah! They’re all going to die.

NCIS: LA E24 (Season Finale)
I was actually kind of disappointed in this season finale, I guess I’ve been used to really gripping endings and I was hoping the team finally crack onto the mole in NCIS. Instead, Tahir Khaled holds Sam’s son’s military academy hostage in order to get to Sam and it’s up to the team to make sure that everyone is safe, Aiden is alive and they catch Tahir. OBVIOUSLY they do, and there’s no cliffhanger, just a nice simple ending to the season. We also find out that Nell and Eric have been doing the kissy-kissy in private, hoorah!

The ones I haven’t mentioned: Castle E20New Girl E19 & E20The Big Bang Theory E23 (Penny tries to connect with Leonard’s mum), Bones E14 (Hodgins and Angela may still have hope and Aubrey and Jessica finally kiss!), Agents of SHIELD E19 (Hive-Ward uses the Kree artifact to get two Kree to come to Earth in order to harvest their blood for the experiments but SHIELD foils them so Daisy volunteers her own blood because that’s what Coulson used to bring her back to life and Lincoln uses an antitoxin created by FitzSimmons to try and see if they can stop Hive’s parasites but it doesn’t work 😦 ), Legends of Tomorrow E14 (Capture Savage, Savage escapes, capture him again, give him to the Time Masters and they let him go. Oh and Jacks has been sent back to 2016 because he was dying and Ray and Kendra break up).

No Thrones spoilers, I promise!

As you can see, the premiere of Season 6 of Game of Thrones was today and yes I have seen it, but as a courtesy for all those that have worked today or just haven’t gotten a chance to see it, you have one week. One. Week. And then my review will come out before I see the next episode. I was out in the morning and when I got back, I don’t think my family has ever seen me run so fast from the front door to my bedroom screaming “Gaaaaaame of throooooones is oooooooon”. By now, I just assume they’re used to it because mum just nodded and went “see you in an hour” – mother of the year award, right there. Anyway, the rest of the week was good, a reminder that next week will be the finale of Scorpion, so I’ll give my full and finale review of it as I ditch the show. In other news, I’m progressing through The Walking Dead pretty well (Man, some of the scenes are gross) and I also started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. And say what you will about Nickelodeon cartoons, I have heard too many good things about it to ignore it any more.

Quantico E18
So this week’s present-time is nice and straightforward, Alex gets Nimah to come in and pretend to be Raina and try and find out what Ryan is up to because she sees that Mark Raymond was used to hire the vehicle that took Simon and Will. Which, of course, is Caleb’s other identity. Nimah obviously gets caught and we find out a little more about what happened between the sisters. Alex finds out from Clair Haas that the reason Caleb has been missing since the second bomb was because he saw his father die and has taken up drugs again, and rather than sending him to a rehab centre, Clair is keeping him locked away, weaning him off the drugs till after she wins the Vice Presidency. At the end of the episode, as Alex is leaving, Caleb escapes his mothers prison to help her, but calls someone and says “She fell for it, we’re on our way.” Back in the past, and we find out Charlie didn’t die, he’s in the ICU and Miranda is removed from her position from a vote of a panel. She then makes it her mission to find out why and cheats Liam into telling her about him and Alex, which of course she records and shows Assistant Director Haas. He’s having none of it, saying he can’t do anything which is freaking bullshit, because Liam has done way worse stuff than Miranda and yet she’s getting fired. She then goes to talk to Alex, in what is one of the most inspirational and feminist speeches I have heard in a long time. Girls out there – if you need some motivation in your career or life, listen to it, it’s ah-mazing. With the NAT’s, they’re told to fill out Security Access forms, and of course, the lies all come out. Iris is suspicious of Caleb and Will, tells Shelby who inadvertently dobs them into Liam, who then talks to Mr. Haas. And that’s where we find out why Liam has been so many chances, he’s keeping things quiet for the Haas’ and in exchange, he gets away with everything. Then on the night that Will is to infiltrate Sistemics, Iris calls them to tell them that Mark Raymond is in the FBI, and Caleb has to go and prove to them that Will means nothing and Caleb was playing him to get information for Sistemics. To prove his loyalty, he’s told to beat up Will and leave him, only to be found by Shelby. Shit is getting messed up.

NCIS E21
This weeks episode gets a special mention from me this week. Not only is it keeping me on my toes in preparation for Tony’s departure :(, but Fornell and Gibbs are just too freaking perfect in this episode. For those that don’t know, Gibbs’ second wife ended up marrying and divorcing Fornell as well, and they have a daughter together. Last season, unfortunately, Diane Sterling is murdered, and both men are hurt, and understand what they’re going through together. In this weeks’ hilariousness, Fornell has 1. got a smartphone and 2. is online dating. This means that his phone is ringing non-stop with all these ladies that he’s chatting to, but then he confides a little too much in Gibbs when he tells him about his fears and oh my god. Safe to say, I was a little giggling girl while they were in scenes together, the awkwardness and cringe factor was brilliant. Also, the case was really good, and former NCIS Director Tom Morrow is killed :O

Agents of SHIELD E17
OK, so this is fairly straightforward episode – Daisy brings together Lincoln, Joey Gutierrez (metal melting abilities) and Elena Rodriguez (aka Yo-yo) and herself to become the Secret Warriors and go rescue her team from Hive-Ward. They manage to do this, May is seriously injured and they capture Malick as well. Once they get back to the ship, Coulson interrogates Malick and finds out that Hive-Ward can mind control the Inhumans, meaning that someone could possibly be under his control right now. In true SHIELD fashion, everyone is left in the dark and eventually the Inhumans discover what is happening and start fighting amongst the rest of  SHIELD and themselves. Coulson figures out that Lincoln has been mind controlled since he ran into Hive-Ward a few episodes ago. Malick is killed and everyone is on lockdown, and that is when Daisy comes to free Lincoln – and he realises she is the one that has been mind controlled, not him. She admits to killing Malick, takes the Kree orb thing, the Terrigen crystals and leaves the base, whilst creating an Earthquake destroying the base. Shit.

The 100 E12
This weeks episode was kind of split into two parts. In one part, Murphy’s grounder girlfriend/lover, Emori, tracks him down and he tells her everything about his relationship with crazy Heda, Ontari. Turns out that Emori had taken the Alie 1.0 chip, worked for Jaha and told him everything about Ontari being a false Commander. Of course, he convinces her that the people will recognise her as the true Commander once she swallows the chip so she has Murphy arrested and taken away and takes the chip, which means that evil Alie is now in command of the 12 Clans :/ Back with the rest of group, they head back to Arkadia to get supplies and ammunition, only to find it deserted. One by one, they start getting attacked and kidnapped and it’s revealed that Emerson, the guy who blew up Mount Weather, is alive and after Clarke for killing his family. He traps all her friends in an airlock chamber an starts killing them, but Clarke defeats him and her friends are all safe. However, they do lose Sinclair and at the end of the episode they cremate Sinclair and Lincoln’s bodies with the respect they deserve. Raven also helps the discover that Alie 2.0, the one n the Commanders, was the version that was meant to work together with humans, and thus if they manage to get the chip to Luna, she may be able to defeat Alie. Raven and Sinclair manage to find out how to activate the chip so it can go into people, and at the end of the episode, Octavia, Bellamy, Jasper and Clarke go off to find Luna while Monty, Raven and the other three stay back to get Alie 1.0 online so Alie 2.0 can destroy her. Very complicated stuff, but i’m just happy everyone is back together!

The Flash E18
We finally get the Zoom v Flash stand off we’ve been waiting for! Barry learns that he can run faster than Zoom with the tachyon accelerator, and they use Cisco’s powers (and Harry’s knowledge of Reverb’s powers) to open up a breach and let Zoom into Earth-1. Now, it gets a bit complicated but when Jay is on Earth-1, we learn that his doppleganger is Hunter Zolomon however Harry reveals that on Earth-2, Hunter Zolomon is a serial killer who had watched his father murder his mother when he was 11. Team Flash figure out that Zoom is Hunter Zolomon and they use this knowledge to catch him when he comes through the breach. However, he’s a smart cookie, and escapes kidnapping Wally in exchange for Barry’s Speedforce. Barry has no choice but to give it up and this is when we find out that Hunter was undergoing electroconvulsive therapy in a mental asylum when Harry’s Earth-2 particle accelerator explodes, giving him the Speedforce. He uses his a versino of his past self to come to Earth-1, learn more about Barry and then kills his own time fragment version to show “Jay’s death”. Anyway, Barry gives his Speedforce, Jay injects it in himself and runs away from Star Labs, and kidnaps Caitlin before leaving! What is Barry supposed to do now without his Speedforce? I reckon Harry was a smarty pants and has some way to stop Zoom, but who knows?!

Legends of Tomorrow E12
This was an interesting episode: with the Pilgrim out to get the younger versions of the team to eliminate them from the timeline, the team decides to go to significant points in their lives and kidnap their younger selves to keep them safe. First they pick up Rory as a teenagers after accidentally burning his family house, Sara as a teenager being attacked by the Pilgrim and just manage to save 2014-Ray from being killed. After that, they realise that they can’t wait for the “significant” moment, so they decide to take newborn Snart, Stein and and Jacks and drop all 6 versions to Rip’s adoptive mothers house, a place called the Refuge. The Pilgrim comes up with her own way to win and Rip is forced to give up his younger self to save his friend’s families. Everything works out well however they realise that they only have a matter of days before the new timelines without the team members in their original lives starts becoming true and their futures change forever :/

The ones I didn’t mention: Once Upon a Time E18 (Mulan and Red are back, Red loves Dorothy and saves her from a sleeping spell, Snow goes back to Storeybrooke to be with Neil and Belle puts herself in a sleeping curse to give Rumple time to destroy the contract with Hades to protect her baby), Scorpion E23 (The team goes to Chernobyl and Toby ends up being kidnapped by their former, crazy team member Mark Collins), NCIS: LA E22 (Anna and G go on a date and we find out that ex-Korean spy Jennifer is Granger’s long lost daughter), Castle E18 (Hayley’s MI6 past comes back – I just don’t really like her :/), New Girl E15 & 16 (Winston marries his new girlfriend Rhonda and Jess, Sam and Nick have to come to terms with their awkward relationship), The Big Bang Theory E21 (the whole group is fighting), and Bones E12 (a meninist is killed and Hodgins is acting like a total jerk-face).

Anyway, have a lovely week, happy watching!

You’ve Got a Friend in Me

Woooo Game of Thrones is back next week! Which means, for those that don’t know how I roll, the 1st episode will come out sometime Monday midday (because I’m in Australia) so the post that I put out that evening will NOT have the review for the latest episode. My reviews will come a week later because I write them up on Sunday night, post it Monday but thanks to a full time job, I have to wait till Monday night before I can get my hands on the new episode 😦 But doesn’t matter, you’ll get the gist and I literally just can’t right now.

I’m a book reader, so up till the last season I knew what was happening, but now I’m in the dark and god it’s frustrating! Since I’m counting down the days, the best way to keep me distracted is to talk about the other shows, so here we go:

Once Upon a Time E17
Hahahahahahahahah this show just gets wackier and wackier! This week we meet Gaston in a flashback, who at first comes off as a a super hot and yet lovely gentleman – which of course is not the case when you get to know him, because we’ve all seen Beauty and the Beast and know exactly what he’s like! In the present time, Hades tries to use a dead Gaston to kill Rumple and then makes a deal with Belle to try and get Rumple and Gaston to fight with each other, and when one of them dies, her unborn baby is free. Things don’t go to plan, blah blah blah and the baby is still in peril. Meanwhile, Emma sees Snow’s death by a wolf (she can now see the future?!) but it turns out that it’s just Red trapped in the Underbrooke trying to get in contact with the heroes. ALSO, Zelena receives a dead flower as a gift from Hades (guys, remember, not all girls like dead flowers, try the pretty ones first for us, non-green, witches) – so maybe she’s softened up and will be on his side even though he tried to take her baby? There was a beautiful moment between Zelena and Regina in the diner as well, Cora haters unite!

Quantico E17
SHIT SHIT SHIT WHAT?! This week on the life of a Quantico NAT, Ryan Booth joins as a cousellor and the cohort are sent to Canada, only to have their passports taken of them and told to reenter USA illegally, just like human traffickers would do. Everyone is split into pairs, but Drew and Alex aren’t together, so naturally Alex blames Ryan and confronts him. Alex and Drew then decide to just trek it all the way to America in the forest filled with snow, and stop off in a cabin in the woods to chat and have a little sexy time 😉 Meanwhile, Will and Iris taking the deportation route after becoming nude in public, Nimah and Raina try to prove that their twins-initiative is worth keeping and Caleb and Shelby decide to ditch the entire thing and go meet Shelby’s lying, and in my honest opinion, terrible, parents, to give her some closure. Caleb, being the loving and sneaky man that he is, doesn’t trust the parents and overhears them planning to take more money off their daughter by giving playing her. He shuts them down and tells them he’ll give them $5 million to leave her alone and then lies to Shelby to keep her safe. Mate, you’re doing this all wrong, she gonna hate you again. Because you lied to her, again. At the end of the exercise, back at Quantico, Alex confronts Ryan and this is where I didn’t quite get what she was saying. Rather than saying, I like Drew now and we need to end this, she tells Ryan that she can’t deal with the “different Ryan’s” and that it’s over. No hunny, you just like someone new, stop making him feel like it’s his fault that you’re an emotional mess. He was the one that was willing to work things out, you decided against it, don’t hate him for it! (Can you tell that this really pissed me off?)

Back in the present, Simon pretends to be on Ryans side, and tells him that Alex is looking for a CIA asset. Ryan and Liam arrange to have the asset in a secure location to talk to, but Simon and Alex arrive first and find out that the asset is Will Olsen :O He’s been held by the CIA for 7 months so Simon and Alex break Will free in order to give him to the terrorist. BUUUUUT then they find out that Will actually hacked in to the NSA’s military codes and memorised the information, which is probably the reason why The Voice wants him. Alex doesn’t want to give him up but we know Will is a good guy from how he helped Caleb and the Systemics, so he offer to be the trojan horse and help out. They finally arrange to give Will to the Voice, only to have them demand Simon as well. Alex is told to give her phone to the driver of the car, and guess who it is? Guess!!!! It’s Shelby freaking Wyatt! And that’s where the episode ends. What!???! Seriously though, I reckon someone else is pulling the strings (Caleb? Where has he been this whole time?) and is blackmailing Shelby into doing this.

New Girl E14
Just a short evaluation of this weeks episode – Winston is amazing. Look, I get it, he’s weird and so random, but the last few episodes have really shown what an amazing friend he is. From being there for Cece while Jess was away, to being a supportive and honest friend to the gang, he’s really grown. This week, he puts on his reality face and just tells Sam and Jess how it really is, and his honesty was so refreshing, I just had to put it out there. Sometimes being a friend is about being supportive and caring and always standing by their side, but sometimes you have to play the devil and really tell your friend what is best for them, even if they don’t see it for themselves. Thank you Winston, for showing what a real friend is, not just a mindless supporter.

Agents of SHIELD E16
This weeks episode was split into four parts: Part 1 involves learning about Malick and his twin brother, who he inadvertently sends to the other planet to be consumed by the Hive. Part 2 involves Ward-Hive living with Malick and impressing Stephanie, all the while playing them both. Ward-Hive has retains the memories of those he’s consumed and reveals this to Malick, who profusely apologises for sending his brother to be killed. And in return for the betrayal of his brother, Ward-Hive kills Stephanie, saying that he needs a Malick by his side, but wants to make Mallick feel his pain. Part 3 of the episode involves Lincoln and Daisy going to find a untransitioned Inhuman who had predicted the return of Hive and gives them a Kree artifact that could help them defeat Ward-Hive. Part 4 is where the rest of the team Giyera, the Inhuman that works for Ward-Hive and can move inanimate objects with his mind. Obviously they aren’t able to contain him, which means the entire team is under his control and Daisy is forced to call on the Secret Warriors Initiative (maybe a better name is needed???) While all this is going on, Ward-Hive is walking around looking like Voldemort with a nose and billowing robes and Simmons discovers that Hive is a flesh eating parasite that is now on Earth and “remembers” the bodies it’s eaten – Coulson looks a little scared. All in all, an alright episode, lots happened and a few more questions were answered 🙂

The 100 E11
You know what I liked most about this episode? It’s almost all the original cast members from the first season working together in the same situation. We didn’t spend the episode chopping and changing between 4 different storylines and locations, and the simplicity was so refreshing, I loved it! The episode involves Clarke, Jasper and Raven (controlled by Allie) meeting up with Octavia, Monty, Bellamy and Sinclair and taking her to Clarke’s ex-lovers’ home in order to hide Raven and keep their location in the dark from Allie. Allie sees that Clarke has her upgrade and tells Raven to do whatever it takes to find out their location. Props to Lindsey Morgan for doing a fantastic job in this episode, you really come to dislike Allie and what she’s doing to the person she’s in. When you see someone parallel park into a tiny spot
The team realise that they can use the wristband to fry the AI and Monty and Octavia go to the drop-ship to get the electromagnet they need. Monty’s mum come there having taken the AI chip and almost kills Octavia in her attempt to get their location and Monty is forced to shoot and kill his own mother (tbh I wasn’t that upset at that, she was a terrible person, but you really do feel for Monty, the poor boy has been through enough already). They make it back, Raven’s continued to get into everyone’s heads and they manage to fry the AI in Raven, only to have her collapse on them. Clarke then realises that there’s another way to remove the chip, and cuts Raven’s neck, like Lexa’s, and a black sludge comes out – the remnants of the AI 🙂 Raven wakes up back to her old self and they all move off to find another safe location – and Raven says that the one way to stop Allie is through Lexa’s chip, and Allie will do anything to get the chip. I’m just keen to see the gang back together, doing things their way rather than all the adults ruining everything. The show was about the 100 teenagers, not the 20 interfering adults.

Legends of Tomorrow E11
Hehehe I love the old west! The team lands in 1871 Salvation, where there is a time fragmentation and Rip hopes that the Time Hunters can’t find them. Of course, he can’t control the team, and they all leave for a few hours for the town and get into a bar fight where they find Jonah Hex, one of Rips old friends and they get involved in helping the town get rid of a gang creating havoc for the people. We learn more about Rip’s past, and Mick’s time away from the legends has kind of made him less selfish and self-absorbed and more caring for his fellow heroes. While all this is happening, Martin decides to save a little boy from tuberculosis and Kendra and Sara go find a mysterious lady, who turns out to be Kendra’s 1871 reincarnation and gives her some interesting life advice about love. Anyway, our heroes save the town and the Time Hunters come for the, but they defeat them, only to realise that there is another person after them, but she goes after their younger selves to make sure that their timeline is truly erased :/When you’re at a store and you realize you left your credit card at home

Castle E17 (Castle is so adorable and Ryan has a little boy!), Scorpion E22 (The team break into Fort Knox), NCIS: LA E21 (Nate is back!), Bones E11 (We’re back and everyone is coming to grips about Hodgins being paralysed)

Holy moly, guacamole!

I’m kinda liking this whole “let’s not have all the shows on at once thing” because my life is so much easier – but now I have no legitimate reason for not socialising, though needing to go home and watch TV wasn’t a legitimate reason in the first place either ha 😉 Just giving an update, Quantico and Once Upon a Time are back next week, Suits and Agent Carter have finished their seasons and our DC favourite’s are still on a hiatus so things are calm and manageable. Let’s do this!

Agent Carter E10 – Season Finale
THEY DID THE KISSY KISSY!
giphy (1)   giphyHahaha sorry I just got very excited at the end of the episode because Sousa and Peggy finally do the nasty (well I assume they did the do) – But we’ll get to that later. The episode starts with the the team investigating the explosion to find Masters gone, Wilkes weak, alive and without Zero Matter, and Whitney, alive and soaking up all the Zero Matter she can get her hands on. Whitney then goes insane in her house, muttering to herself and writing formulas, and generally acting like a psycho scientist – which makes her mafia boyfriend come to Stark and the team and ask for their help in removing the Zero Matter from Whitney. Peggy and Sousa manage to get into her evil lair with his help and discover that she is trying to create a device that will open the rift and take her into it – so the team design the device in order to lure Whitney to it and use the gamma/xray cannon to expel the Zero Matter from her and back into the rift. This all goes to plan, until the rift can’t be closed and is unstable, leaving Sousa to risk his life to close it, with the help of his trusty team. In the end, they manage to close the rift using Stark’s hovercar (God damn, it’s a cool car!) and leaving Whitney in a mental hospital, muttering to herself  and generally being a crazy person.

Meanwhile, Jack discovers that the Council pin that Masters has is actually a key for something, gives it to Peggy and proceeds to get ready to leave LA. Meanwhile, Peggy is kissing Sousa and takes more leave to be with him longer (oh yeaaaaaaa 😉 ) and the episode ends with Jack Thompson being shot in the chest by a mystery person, who comes into his hotel room and steals Peggy’s file.giphy (2)OMG WHAAAT?! They can’t do this to us at the end of the season! Those bastards. Anyway, this was a fantastic season for the Marvel TV show, and I can’t wait to see it return in January 2017!

Suits E16 – Season Finale
Well, that was an interesting turn of events. Mike decides he doesn’t believe in himself and breaks his promise to Rachel and takes a deal for 2 years of imprisonment rather than wait for the juries verdict. Harvey finds out that they jury was actually going to find him not guilty, meaning that Mike majorly screwed up! Basically, in the three days before he has to leave for prison, him and Rachel are in a bouncy castle of emotions, finally deciding to get married before he’s locked away, possibly jeopardizing her career as a lawyer and ruining his relationship with his future in-laws. In the end, Mike comes to Rachel in the church before getting married and says that he can’t go through with it, and they should wait till they get out (possibly the first smart decision Mike has made in a looong time). Also, thanks to Louis effing up (again), Donna, Jessica and Louis return to the office after the cancelled wedding to find that all the employees have left for other firms and taken their clients with them, thanks to a nullified Non-Compete. The two things I thought were interesting to note were:
1. There was a scene between Mike and Harvey towards the end of the episode which was absolutely spectacular! Both actors gave their characters such depth of emotion and the chemistry between them was fantastic – one of those scenes that really sticks with you for a while.
2. how are they going to continue with the story next season? Will they pick up during the two year prison sentence and focus on the firm or will they start up after two years when Mike is out?

Castle E13
This was a pretty normal week and there isn’t really much to say about the case, but the reason I haven’t put this at the bottom as just a mention, is that Castle has a flashback/ memory recovery thing where he remembers part of the time when he disappeared. If you don’t remember, at the end of Season 6, Castle is abducted while on his way to his wedding, only to appear 3 months later (beginning of Season 7) with no memory of time away. Come back to the present time and Castle has a taste of a traditional Korean dish and the taste reawakens a memory of him walking down the streets of a town, clearly in Korea. But in a scene not long after, he wakes up in his sleep, realising that he wasn’t in Korea, but in Little Korea in LA! Ahhhhhhh what is happening?! It’s very rare for writers to keep something like this going for more than a season, so I can only assume it has something to do with Loksat and figuring out both cases will solve both of their problems. Maybe that’s when the show will end???? Who knows!giphy (2)

The 100 E07
Whey hey heyyyyy, just when I thought the episodes were getting boring, they drop this one on me. This one focuses entirely on Clarke, Lexa, Titus and John but we also get some backstory into Beca and ALIE. First let’s get to the backstory – Beca (the same actor plays both ALIE and Beca) is the owner of the 13th station that is supposed to join the Ark 97 years ago. However, she’s working on AI technology meant to assist the humans in surviving in outer space for the next 200 years. Unfortunately, her AI, ALIE, enters the grid and is the one that causes nuclear missiles from China to attack USA, thus causing the destruction of the world. The rest of the stations refuse to dock with Polaris and threaten to blow it up if she doesn’t stop working on her project, but Beca continues, creating ALIE-2,  an AI that is to coexist with humans, with her code in a crystal matrix (it looks like the pill that Jaha has been giving people). Anyway, Beca manages to escape and return to Earth using an escape pod and saving ALIE-2, whilst wearing a jumpsuit with “Commander” written on it, while the 13th section of the ark is blown up above her.
giphy (2)Fast forward 97 years, and Lexa decrees that a blockade be formed around Arkadia and a kill order is sent out to anyone from Arkadia that crosses the blockade. Clarke decides to leave with Octavia and Indra in order to warn Pike and Kane about the kill order but not before she does the do with Lexa. At this point, I’m so sick of both of them dancing around each other, I’m happy they finally have sex and Clarke is leaving and they can just not be around each other. BUUUUUUT enter Titus, who’s decided he can’t take Clarke anymore and is going to shoot her, using a gun but leaving John there so that it looks like he did it. BUUUUUUUUT – he accidentally shoots Lexa instead – HOLY SHITBALLS WHAT?!giphy (2) The next 10 minutes are Clarke sobbing and trying to stop her bleeding, but Titus accepting that she is dying and getting ready to pass on the role of Commander to the next lucky person. Once Lexa is dead, he turns her over and at the nape of her neck is a scar and the infinity sign (the one on the pills) is tattooed on her. He opens up the scar and removes the crystal matrix which has ALIE-2 and places it in a box! The only thing I can gather from this is that Beca is called the Commander and had ALIE-2 placed inside her, and every time a Commander is killed, their “spirit” aka, ALIE-2, is transferred to the next. Also, is this the upgrade that Jaha’s ALIE needs?! Ah too many questions and not enough answers!

How to Get Away with Murder E13
Finally some answers! Looking at the flashbacks, we see that Rose gets arrested regarding her immigration status and Eve (Annalise’s old girlfriend) is her lawyer. She convinces Rose that she and Christophe will be safe if Rose still testifies. Anyway, as any normal person would do, Rose rushes home, puts Christophe and all her belongings in her car and runs away to start life anew. Christophe has a hissyfit and jumps out of the car and runs home to find his mother with a knife in her neck, gurgling and dying at his feet. You’re thinking “Yes, Wes didn’t kill his mum!”. Couple of scenes later we see Annalise running away from the apartment with a dying Rose on the floor with a knife in her neck. Now you’re thinking, SHIT ANNALISE KILLED ROSE! Couple of scenes later, you see Annalise coming to the apartment to find a hysterical Rose who’s looking for her son and realises that she has no way out of this case and can’t get away from the family. In a burst of emotion, she grabs a kitchen knife, tells Annalise to look after her son, and stabs herself in the neck!giphy (2)Annalise is shocked (as you would be), but doesn’t call 911. She hides away when she sees Christophe and then runs away from the scene now knowing what to do. And for a moment, you think, Yes Annalise is SAFE! But then you realise that it’s only her word keeping her innocent, and that may not be enough.

Come back to the present, and Annalise takes the laptop and the videos to Emily Sinclair’s boss, saying that she has evidence that Philip is back in town and the ADA can get him for her murder, provided that her and her associates have immunity for anything that is seen in the videos. The ADA is sneaky, and tries to pull some backhanded shit on Annalise, but she’s too good for them. Meanwhile, Wes is talking to his psychiatrist about his mothers death, and finds the file saying he is the primary suspect, making him question everything he remembers from that night. Laurel tries to convince Annalise to talk to Wes, and also breaks up with Frank with Bonnie eavesdropping on them (Why??). Connor, Olli, Laurel and Michaela sleep at Asher’s house because they know he’s stalking them, and Annalise is with Nate. The episode ends with Annalise coming to Wes’ apartment to talk to him, and knows someone is in the room – but she’s gets a phone call from Eve saying that Wes is with her, and at that moment, Philip Jesup appears and attacks Annalise. SHIT now I have to wait an entire week to find out what the hell is going on! Of course Annalise will survive, but who knows what Philip will do!

Legends of Tomorrow E07
We finally found out more about Rip’s family! Turns out both he and his wife were in the Time Master academy (if that’s what you call it?) but because affairs of love are forbidden, Rip’s wife pulls out from the academy so he can continue and they can continue being together – aw cuuuuute! Back in the present and Gideon needs to be upgraded so that they can continue to track Savage, so Rip, Rory, Jacks and Stein go aboard Akeron, another ship, to get the upgrades, only to discover it’s been hijacked by time pirates. The pirates attack Waverider, and while damaging the hull, Sara and Snart get locked in a freezing hull (am I the only one that wants them to get together?), leaving Kendra and Palmer to brace Deeps Space and fix the breach. Of course everyone is fine at the end, Kendra and Palmer kiss, but Rory’s evil actions over the last few situations leads the team to contemplate his part in the Good Guys team – which leaves Snart in the position to “deal with him”. Which means “I’m gonna take him into a random field in a random time and use my freeze gun to freeze him” – SHIIIIET!giphy (2)Now, whether he’s dead or not, we don’t know, but based on what we learn about his relationship with Snart, this was not an easy decision and is going to haunt him for a long time after 😦

Ones that weren’t mentioned because they were meh: New Girl E09 (Nick and Reagan kiss!), NCIS E17, Scorpion E18, NCIS: LA E17 (seemed like a disjointed episode from the season involving Sam’s ex-lover, Jada and the discovery of another mole in NCIS).

7 Years Later…

Hola amigos! This was another quiet-ish week, I’m finding that different channels are taking different breaks all over the place, which makes my life easier, because I don’t have a bazillion shows to watch every week. In terms of updates – Fox has announced that the next season of Bones (season 12) will be the last season and we will be saying goodbye to the amazing chemistry that is Booth and Brennan and all the team at the Jeffersonian. As sad as I am that they’re ending it, I think their time has come and all the characters are at stages of their lives that the writers can end the show well. On another note, if you live in Australia, I highly recommend watching the new show on Channel 9 called Here Come the Habibs (if you’re not in Australia, I’m sure you’re smart enough to find a way 😉 ) After three episodes, I think this is an absolutely hilarious, tears-rolling-down-my-cheeks, falling-off-the-couch show. Some people are saying that it’s racist, rude and stereotypical, but you know what? It really doesn’t matter because that’s the point of the show, just take it as it is and have a good laugh!

NCIS: LA E16
WE FINALLY FIND OUT CALLEN’S NAME!jennifer lawrence excited omg

And it was well worth the wait 😀 Carrying on from the last episode, Sam, Anna and G go to Russia and go and rescue Arkady Kolcheck and a CIA operative from a jail under a strict time schedule to avoid causing an international incident. Things don’t go exactly to plan but they end up at a CIA safe house being run by an old man called Garrison – and the minute you look at him, you know that something is up with him. He’s way to comfortable with the crew and looks at G like he knows him – ding ding ding, that’s his father! Just before they are to leave Russia with everyone in tow and alive, G and Garrison have a few minutes to themselves to discuss their relationship, and Garrison tells him he knows all about his son and is proud that he is a good man. He also calls G Grisha (which is the equivalent of Gregory in Russian) and tells him that his name is Grisha Alexandrovich Nikolaev and with the hope that they will meet again and learn more about each other. A few other things happen in the episode, but to be honest, I couldn’t give a damn because, as the title suggests, I waited way too long for this moment to happen 🙂

Castle E12
This episode totally freaked me out but intrigued me at the same time. As a science student that studied psychology courses at uni, it was an interesting case that involved parents that tested their twin children with various techniques to study separation anxiety – making their daughter kill herself and the son withdrawn and mentally unstable. Anyway, the case was interesting and Castle and Beckett were thrown into the deep end with a range of scenarios and different people to deal with and we saw again, how mature and responsible Alexis can be in times where her Dad is in trouble or not so mature. Plus, I love her hair ❤

Agent Carter E08 & E09
Can Peggy and Daniel just get together already, I cannot take all the stares and sexual tension anymore! Just kiss already!
kiss tangled aww now kiss vladimir

This was another two episode joy ride, but wasn’t as complicated as last week. Wilkes and Whitney talk about experimenting on each other to find out about Zero Matter and she is told by the Zero Matter that she needs the uranium rods to recreate the explosion that caused the initial Zero Matter rift to open (she’s hearing voices that Wilkes isn’t – creepy, I know) In the meantime, Anna wakes up and Jarvis learns she can never have children and Peggy, Sousa and Jarvis decide to exchange fake uranium rods for Wilkes’ life. BUUUUUUUT the exchange goes wrong and Wilkes holds a gun to Peggy’s head demanding Sousa to tell him where the real rods are kept, making the most of Sousa’s feelings for her, that sneaky two timing bastard! Sousa tells him that the rods are at the SSR, Wilkes tells Whitney, Whitney tells Masters (You can see where this is going…) BUUUUUUT welcome Jack Thompson, who finally gets his head screwed on properly, and confronts Masters stealing the rods, only to have his memories erased and gets found by Sousa and Peggy. In the end, Whitney manages to open the Zero Matter rift, Wilkes disappear into it, the team uses a Gamma ray gun to close the rift, Wilkes is left behind – oh and Jarvis shoots Whitney in his anger, she survives but then kidnaps Peggy and Jarvis. And that was episode 8.

Episode 9 opens with a lovely musical number, which was Peggy’s hallucinations, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone sing and dance a little. Whitney decides to operate/experiment on Wilkes who knows he’s ticking time bomb ready to explode, after Peggy and Jarvis have escaped their kidnappers and started their journey home. Peggy makes Jarvis go and spend time with this wife, while Jack tells Masters that he should meet with Whitney and use the Gamma gun to kill her BUUUUUUT he double crosses Masters and tells Whitney their plan and that she should kill him when he comes in exchange for a spot on the Council. Peggy punches Masters, and their all kind of on the same side but unknown to anyone, Jack has turned the Gamma gun into a Gamma bomb and intends to blow it up both Masters and Whitney – and doesn’t care that an innocent Wilkes is in the same place and would die as well. But Sousa and the lab tech guy disarm the bomb, much to Jack’s disappointment and Peggy fails in saving Wilkes, with the episode ending with the Zero Matter in Wilkes exploding out of him. Now the issue is that next week is the finale of the season for a whole year, which means that there is a lot that needs to be covered next week and I have too many questions that need to be answered in a 45 minute episode, I CAN’T WAIT!

NCIS E16
Man, you really feel for Tony in this episode, it’s just a very nostalgic episode and plenty of old memories are brought up. Dr Taft and Jeanne come back in a case involved stolen guns and the case comes around to Le Grenioulle and Tony and Jeanne’s past. It was a pretty good episode, and we also get the opportunity to see a close relationship developing between Gibbs and Taft – it’s high time that Gibbs has a friend.

Suits E15
Harvey and Mike have zero faith in themselves and the case that they put up to free Mike, need Donna and Rachel to grow a pair and Louis has a freak out! By the end of the episode, Gibbs has gotten into Mike’s head to take a deal, but keep in mind that next week is the season finale, so I’d be happy to see how this all plays out. Also, it’s been 5 years, and I just feel like this show is coming to an end, I hope they don’t drag it out unnecessarily!

The 100 E06
There were three main scenarios going on this episode, so I’m going to try and summarise it quickly, because tbh, the episode was a bit meh and I found myself reaching for my phone to plan Candy Crush on :/ It was heavy on information and talking and light on the action, at least that’s what I found

  1. Emmerson (the last Mountain-man) is delivered to the Capital and Lexa leaves it to Clarke to decide if they want to kill him or not. Funnily enough, when it comes to avenging the Grounders, Clarke is all “blood must not have blood”, but the minute it’s her own avenging happening, she’s all “yes, let’s kill him, he’s a bad guy” – Thankfully she comes to her senses and banishes him from the land.
  2. Kane bugs Pike’s meeting room and overhear him making plans to eliminate an entire Grounder village in order to use their land to grow crops. Octavia goes to warn the village, instead gets captured and the village creates a trap for Bellamy and his village-extinguishing posse, all but one survive. Pike realises that Kane is a traitor and asks his lapdog Bellamy to find proof (I’m starting to think that Bellamy and Jack Thompson from Agent Carter are cut from the same cloth: easily influenced and shit really needs to hit the fan before they realise they’re on the wrong side)
  3. Raven is cured of all her pain when she has the pill that Jaha gives her, Jasper wants to do the same and Abby is just a little bit concerned as to how the pill works, which is totally understandable. But her assistant, Jackson has taken the mystery magic pill and is on Jaha’s side :/ Anyway, ALIE wants to find the program to upgrade her system, uses Raven to get to it and discovers that there was another section (Section 13) that was not sent up to the Arc, and that section is somewhere on the ground (Hint: With the Grounders) and has the upgrades ALIE needs to – take over the world?!

I don’t know how I feel about the show anymore, it’s not what it started out as, and I haven’t decided if I like these changes or not…

How to Get Away with Murder E12
AH the ending, the ending! Ok so again, if you don’t want spoilers, skip on down past the gif of a shocked Pumba. Alright, the rest of you, man that was a good episode! In the past, we see very preggers Annalise convinces Rose to be a witness for her in the defense of Charles the murdering fiancé. However, on the day of the trial, Rose doesn’t appear to testify, causing the case to fall apart and Annalise returning to Rose to confront her. At the end of that scene, Rose shouts at Christophe and his expression is… not an average angry child face. Meanwhile, Philip Jesup demands $1mil from the team or he’ll send the video incriminating them to the police. Everyone spends the entire episode freaking out, except Wes and Laurel who go to Cleveland to have a look at the case Rose was involved in. In Cleveland, they get super close and finally hook up (actually the first time members of the Keating-5 have hooked up, they lasted almost 2 seasons!) but Laurel discovers something about the case and doesn’t tell Wes. Back in Philly, the team spend a night living their lives (ie. having sex with their respective others), ignore the deadline and discover that Philip is stalking the Keating house. And then enter Laurel, who demands to speak to Annalise about a document that states that Christophe/Wes is the primary suspect in the death of this mum and the scene cuts to a dying Rose on the floor with a Christophe holding a bloody knife – HOLY SHIT WHAT?! DID WES ACTUALLY KILL HIS MOTHER BECAUSE SHE TOLD HIM TO GO TO BED?! WHAT WHAT WHAT?! what omg shocked wut wat

The Flash E15
So after Jay’s “death”, everyone is super emotional and on edge and I can see why, but it got a bit much after the 10 minutes. Harry tells Cisco and Barry not to talk about what happened on Earth-2 but that’s pretty hard considering one saw his best friend as n evil Meta and the other saw his father figure die in front of him. Whilst all this emotional turmoil is going on, Diggle and Lyla (the new Director of ARGUS) visit Central City because King Shark has escaped and is still after The Flash, Wally and Barry are trying to deal with their relationship and Caitlin is slowly turning into Killer Frost. There are some seriously good special effects and computerizations going on between The Flash and King Shark’s but the clincher for the episode comes riiiiiight at the end. If you haven’t seen the episode, please skip ahead to the Arrow section, because there are spoilers up ahead:

ZOOM IS JAY! Well, not exactly, I don’t really know, but once Zoom comes through the breach back to Earth-2 with a dead Jay in his grips, he takes his mask off and has Jay’s face! The thing is with this show, you just can’t guess anything that’s going to happen because there’s alternate universes and time travel and anything is possible. Safe to say, my mind was blown, but now we have to wait till March 22 to get the next episode – damn you writers!television no brooklyn nine nine chelsea peretti thumbs down

Arrow E15
Darhk reveals that he’s kidnapped William and wants Olli to step down from his Mayoral campaign and endorse Ruvé – and oh look, everyone knows about William now. Including Felicity. Who should have been one of the first people but oh well. Team Arrow have no idea where he is so they ask Vixen’s help. For all those out there that aren’t in touch with their comic book side (like me), she’s another DC superhero that uses a totem/necklace to “channel the spirit of any animal” which means that she can channel a gorilla and become super strong etc. Anyway, she locates Will, and of course Darhk beats them, so they decide to steal HIS totem that his giving his magic and destroy it. All in all, the team gets William back (he’s now a huge fan of the Green Arrow, stuff The Flash), they destroy Darhk’s magic, Thea is furious at Malcolm for being a jerk dad and telling Darhk about William, Samantha takes William far away and Olli makes him a video for his 18th birthday. BUT then, Felicity leaves Olli. And you know what the funny/awkward/ironic thing is? She has the microchip in her that would help her walk and just as she leaves her engagement ring on the table in front of Ollie, she regains the use of her legs, gets off her wheelchair and literally struts out of the apartment. Mum and I just looked at each other and shook out heads – one cannot simply be wheelchair bound for months and then get up and walk away, no matter what kind of high tech shit you got in you!

Legends of Tomorrow E06
Ok, first things first. I understand that Stephen Amell is a beautiful man (let’s be honest, he’s the reason I started watching Arrow), and it is hard to hide his natural gorgeousness but the makeup team really needs to get their shit together! In Arrow, we had to deal with three years of his terrible wigs in the flashbacks and in this episode, we had to watch him as an old man with one arm and let’s be honest, when you see what they’ve done to Olli, no one believes it. Ok rant over – this was a pretty cool episode which saw the team in Star City 2046 – the Green Arrow is John Diggle Jr (aka Connor Hawke), Deathstroke is Grant Wilson (son of Slade Wilson), everyone has left Star City, including Felicity and Smoak Enterprises but didn’t take everything with her. In order to save the damaged Waverider, part of the team go back to Team Arrow’s Bat-Cave to find the tech they need plus an old, one-armed Olli Queen. The team does their thing, Rory and Snart have a woring disagreement, Sara and Rip try to understand why both of them are willing to alter the timeline for their families and Palmer and Jacks fight for Kendra’s attention. In the end, all is well, Grant Wilson is killed and Star City is “safe”. It was a pretty cool episode that got more of the DC universe involved but also got you thinking about the things you would do for your friends and family.

The ones I haven’t mentioned: Scorpion E17 (Toby tells the team about him and Happy and they all fight gun-carrying, drug-transporting drones in the middle of a desert), Supernatural E15 (Sam and Dean’s childhood wrestling fantasies come to life), The Big Bang Theory E17 (It’s the 200th episode and we get to celebrate Sheldon’s birthday with a whole heap of guest stars, not as funny as I thought it would be though :/) and New Girl E08.

Hope you guys have a fantastic week, thanks for reading!

Marvel Universe Crossover and a Prison Break!

Wassup guys?! Welcome to another week of my TV adventures, where I try and avoid all social commitments so that I can sit in my pjs, eat copious amounts of chocolate and forget  the time a waiter gave my my lunch and said “Enjoy!” and I said “You too!” with a huge grin on my face.

Daredevil Season 1
Oh my god, what a fantastic show! And I’m not just saying it because I’m a sucker for Marvel shows; I’m saying this because I actually genuinely thought it was a brilliant show. I hadn’t seen the movie or known anything about it but I had heard good things about it, so I gave it a go and man, it was worth it. The show follows Matthew Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer living in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan who owns his own law firm with his best friend Franklin “Foggy” Nelson (Elden Henson) and are joined by Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) after she is involved in a cover up at her firm. Little do they know that after his accident that took his sight when he was 9, he was trained in order to use his other senses to let him “see” and he goes out at night to try and save his city – becoming known as the guy in the black mask or the Devil in Hell’s Kitchen. The villain for this season is Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and I guess he’s acted really well because you really come to despised his psychotic character, despite what happened in his past.  Anyway, I don’t want to get into the plot too much, but just know that it is written superbly, with interesting characters, coupled with the odd bit of humour and lots of dark moments. Special mention has to go to the action team, the choreographers and stuntmen. For a TV show, there is a huge amount of time spent into creating the most amazing action sequences I’ve seen on the small screen and the whole action production team deserve all the awards. My favourite scene has to be at the end of episode 2, the entire shot is taken without cutting to another camera and is in a narrow corridor with beautiful lighting and tbh, I don’t think there are many movies that can do it as well as they did. The show is on Netflix and season 2 in premiering on March 18th, and I highly recommend watching season 1 in time for the next season. Truly amazing, all the thumbs up!

thumbs up

Agent Carter E06 and E07
This week was another double episode and next week will be too, so make sure you stay on track! Things are got very interesting – the team realises that they need some zero matter to anchor Dr. Wilkes in this physical state so they devise a plan to get some of Whitney’s blood at a charity function. However, Peggy is still hurt and they know Sousa, so they decide to get kidnap Dottie from her cell at the SSR and use her. Of course, things go wrong, Whitney kills half of the council, including her husband and kidnaps the already kidnapped Dottie who sees her kill everyone. Thankfully, Peggy is able to get Whitney’s blood, but not before Masters (FBI guy) tells Jack that Peggy needs to be “taken care of” because of her insubordination. Oh and Sousa and Peggy have a “moment” and almost kissed, and when they didn’t, I may have shouted at my laptop :/

NO

In episode 7, Masters tries to torture Dottie to get information on Peggy but you know what? Dottie is just so damn cool. Look I get it, she’s a crazy, Russian killing machine, but damn, she faces torture like it’s a walk in the park. Of course she’s been trained for this, but still, there’s only so often you see a character tell the torturer that she’s done worse to herself while smiling sweetly. Anyway, in comes Whitney and uses the zero matter in her to torture and get the information she needed. Meanwhile, Wilkes designs a containment chamber from him, gets injected with the zero matter, becomes whole again and kisses Peggy. One point to the director for cutting to a shot of the Jarvis’s and both of their reactions to the kiss, it was a interesting touch – the curiosity of a woman and the politeness of a man who has been taught to show discretion and turn a blind eye to certain practices. Anyway, Whitney sets a trap for Peggy and Jarvis using Dottie as bait, however turns out its actually a ploy to get Wilkes on his own to and kidnap him so that they can use their powers together and see what they can do together. But while she’s escaping, she shoots Anna in the stomach just as Jarvis arrives back, and in the scenes after, you really see him struggle with the thought that it was his adventures that out his wife’s life in danger. For this episode, I think that they focus was Peggy and Jarvis, you get to watch him be a good friend and talk to her about his sudden love triangle, and at the end, Peggy sits with him in the hospital, offering him her friendship and support. I am truly going to be sad when this show ends.

Now I’m putting this at the end of this section because I noticed some interesting details about both Marvel shows, and the genius that goes on linking the stories together. Firstly, in Daredevil, they make reference to a Roxxon Corporation in a case Matt and Foggy are working on, which turns out, is the same company Peggy steals the uranium rods from in episode 5! And another thing, I was watching Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and there is a scene where Peggy talks about her husband and family, and it made me realise that we just may be able to see who she ends up marrying in Agent Carter. Man, the more I get into these shows and movies, the more hooked I get!

Castle E10 and E11
Before you say anything, yes it was a double episode so if you haven’t watched both of them yet, stop reading, go watch them and but then come back! … Ok, you’ve watched them? Good. Episode 10 showed Castle witnessing a murder 5 months ago and being called on as a witness for the prosecution, only to realise that he didn’t actually see the murderer. An interesting series events means that the defence lawyer on the case is actually someone that is involved in Beckett’s investigation of Loksat and she has to try and work with him while knowing he’s involved in something much more sinister. Episode 11 is a bit more light-hearted, Castle and Becket get involved with the Russian embassy, an over enthusiastic Nicki Heat fan and Russian Cold War spies, it’s all very James Bond J Castle also finally meets his step-mother and realises that although his father might not always be there, he does love and care about him.

Supernatural E14
So we’re back to the main issue of the season and the brothers discover that there are objects in the world that have been “touched by God” and might hold the power to killing Amara. They find out that an object like that did exist but it disappeared on a submarine back in World War II so they see if “Castiel” can take them back in time to get the object before it disappears. Anyway, Dean goes back in time, finds the object but has to use it to get back to the present time, and when he returns, him and Sam discover that “Castiel” is actually Lucifer. Time to see how this plays out…

The 100 E05
Not much happened this week on The 100, I guess they can’t really have super interesting episodes all the time. Firstly, Pike, Bellamy and their Grounder-hating posse go off and slaughter Indra’s crew of good Grounders and Lexa and Clarke find her left alive just to tell them that the Grounders are not welcome. Clarke manages to get into Arcadia to talk to Bellamy but he’s acts like a backstabbing ass and so she has to run away, with Octavia and Marcus Kane helping. Meanwhile, Lexa says that “blood will not have blood” and Jaha finds Arcadia to try and get people to come to the City of the Lights and to me, it sounds a lot like committing suicide and going to “heaven”. Anyway, the main scene that stuck with me was Pike talking to Arcadia and saying something on the lines of “We own the ground and we’re staying and the others are not welcome and they have no say”. Sounds A LOT like what people used to say when they invaded a country and ignored the indigenous people there (eg. Australia, America, Canada) – are the writers trying to make the audience think about these things, or is it just me?

How to Get Away with Murder E11
I feel like this episode was all about confessions because everyone started telling everyone everything, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In the present, Wes gets put in the psych ward of hospital after he tells his doctor that he might just kill himself if she didn’t give him some sleeping pills. So she forces him to talk to her and he talks about his mothers suicide. Meanwhile, the rest of the Keating 5 are involved in a very interesting case about a mother who is appealing to have her son’s murderer have a shorter sentence and Charlie reveals to Laurel that he killed Lila. The Keating 4 leave Annalise when they realise she knows about Wes in the hospital and hasn’t done anything about it, and the 5 students then have a little heart to heart in the car – one of the few times that they do, and it was nice to see them all talk a bit (in the middle of snide comments and lame jokes of course). In the flashbacks, we see Charlie and Bonnie as part of pregnant Keatings 5, and we find out out that Annalise has been meeting with Christophe and Rose (Wes and his mum). Now the interesting part comes when Annalise gives Rose a file with documents about the murder of a hedge-fund heir and leaves us with the question – how the hell is Rose involved, and is this case the reason she killed herself?!

confused kristen wiig meh maybe

Anyway, the episode ends on two cliffhangers – 1. Connor received a video from someone (Philip Jesup?!) from the night Annalise was shot and 2. Annalise leaves the stack of mysterious files at Wes’ apartment … WHAT IS GOING ON???????

The Flash E14
This week on The Flash: on Earth-2, Barry-2 and Iris-2 help Cisco and Harry find Killer Frost and get her to help them rescue Barry-1 and Jesse. Barry and Jesse try to interpret what the other prisoner is say and get the word “JAY” from him. Meanwhile on Earth-1, Jay takes Velocity 9 which helps him, Iris and Caitlin catch Geoman, and find out that the drug is actually help cure him. Then, along with Joe, the four of them manage to fix the broken breach stabilizers, and the Earth-2 team escape Zoom’s lair only to have Zoom reach through and pull Jay back to Earth-2. Now I understand that if you don’t watch The Flash, that paragraph makes absolutely NO SENSE what-so-ever, so just have faith that once you do start watching (or catch up), it’ll make sooooooo much more sense. I have so many theories of who Zoom is at the moment, that I don’t know which one to follow: Wally West, Jay, some weird time/world mash up of Barry or Harrison Wells – who knows! Anything is possible!

Arrow E14
This week, the team faces the Demolition Team, a team in HIVE that blows up buildings in order to kill people. Oh did I mention that they use hammers and nail-guns as their weapons of choice? Oh yea, the nail-gun chick is vicious and crazy AF. Anyway, Ollie is up against Ruvé (aka, Darhk’s evil wife) in the Mayoral Debate and wins (HOORAH!), Momma Smoak plans Olicity’s engagement party, Curtis Holt gives them the most amazing wedding present ever and, oh did I forget to mention? DAMIAN DARHK HAS OLLIE’S SON! We have no idea how or what happened, but he has William in his house and introduces him to his daughter – Where is his mother???!!!!!!!

Legends of Tomorrow E05

Before I say anything more, it must be noted that Snart makes the BEST comment about prison “This isn’t my first prison break”. GEDDIT!? Wentworth Miller was on Prison Break – there was literally an entire show made about him getting his brother out of jail. Best line ever, I would have switched off my TV happily at the end of that, but I kept going. Let’s keep it short and sweet: Stein gets tortured into tell evil Russian scientist the formula for Firestorm (but she doesn’t know he’s part of Firestorm), Ray gets beat up for Rory and they become besties, Snart and Sara go in to rescue the three from a Russian gulag – Snart wants to save Rory and Rip tells Sara to kill Stein if necessary so Savage doesn’t learn to make Firestorm. Of course in the end, everything works out, evil Russian lady tries to join with Stein to become Firestorm and kills herself and Sara doesn’t kill Stein – Team work for the win! Oh but wait –  their Tardis (I can’t remember the name) gets damaged thanks to Bobba Fett (I can’t remember his name either 😉 ) and they end up in Star City 2047. With a different Green Arrow. Da Fuq?! Can someone also please explain to me how two men can have a full on fight in their towels but i cant walk 7m to my bedroom without something popping out?!

New Girl E07 (Nick, Cece and Schmidt think that Reagan is a criminal and I found myself missing Jess), NCIS E15 (SecNav’s daughter gets kidnapped and Fornell from the FBI comes into assist), Suits E14 (Mike and Harvey fight to be Mike’s lawyer, and the prosecutor Gibbs uses Trevor and Donna against Mike’s case), The Big Bang Theory E16 (The group finds out about Bernie’s pregnancy and Sheldon gets drunk 🙂 )

Have a good week maties!

Why So Complicated??

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you guys had a lovely Valentine’s Day and generally a good week! I finally managed to finish of Breaking Bad and HOLY SHIT it got good. I really hope I wasn’t the only one that really, really, really despised Walter and wanted him to die for doing what he did to Jesse and Hank in the name of “doing it for his family” ??? I got so sick of hearing his excuses for being a complete nut-job that I was so happy he finally admitted his selfishness to Skyler and died. I truly hated his character, I don’t think I’ve hated a main character, or any character to be honest, this much before, and I’ve watched some weird shit. Anyway, my week was mainly filled with finishing that off, but thanks to my lazy disposition, I managed to watch all my usuals as well so we’re still on track. There were a few hits and misses and my list is growing again, so I’m going to go back to writing about the important episodes and just listing the rest in case you want to watch them anyway. I also found a theme of “let’s make this episode super complicated this week” in most of the shows this week, and safe to say, it annoyed me.

Castle E09
One of my favourite couples is back! Castle and Beckett are secretly seeing each other (can I even say that considering they’re married?) but to show the rest of the world and Lokstat that they’re separated, Castle and Beckett say that they’re both seeing other people, much to the shock of Ryan and Esposito. The rest of the episode is a classic one, involving an acapella competition, Espo got his Pitch Perfect on, and Corbin Bleu from High School Musical made a guest appearance. All in all, a good episode, just want to see how far they’re going to go with these lies.

NCIS: LA E15
Here is my first example of overly complicated episodes for no reason. We basically deduce that Archaedes is alive, his daughter is looking for him and Sam and G are sent to Russia to go get him and a missing CIA agent back. I kind of thought it was a waste of an episode, when the entire plot can be written in one sentence but I guess the next episode will be more intense seeing as this one was just laying the groundwork.

Agent Carter E05
Half way through the season already! Just a heads up, the next two weeks are double episodes and so the season will be ending on the 1st of March – keep an eye out and make sure you don’t miss out! Anyway, this episode was a nice and simple one: The Zero Matter speaks to Whitney and makes her realise that she needs to steal an atomic bombs to recreate the discovery of Zero Matter. Peggy puts together a team of her, Jarvis, Sousa, Rose (the receptionist at the SSR) and Samberly (the lab tech) to go steal the uranium rods from a bomb stored in one of Chadwick’s facilities. Everything goes to plan until Peggy is touched by Whitney and then falls and injures herself. Sousa ends up taking her to his fiancés house to get treated, where she realises that Sousa is in love with Peggy and that is the reason he left New York. Wilkes also regains his physical body for a short time after touching the Zero Matter in the first victims body (remember back to episode 1, the lady in the lake?) but at the end of the episode, starts fading away entirely. It was a slower episode than what we’re used to, but you know what? It didn’t even feel like it because the characters are so vibrant and interesting that you’re focused on them rather than the plot – and sometimes, that’s not always a bad thing.

Supernatural E13
For me, this is one of those episodes where they have a main plot line which carries the episode but then they use the seasons sub-plot to weave a deeper story and add to the characters. Our favourite brothers get involved with a witch who is in charge of a cursed kissing genie and in turn, end up discussing Dean’s unfathomable attraction to Amara. It was nice to see the brothers talk, for 11 years, we’ve been watching them lie to each other and what not, but I’m glad to see a little bit of character development. Who wants to bet that in the last few episodes, one of them will lie to the other and we’ll be back where we started?

The 100 E04
Example numero duo. A lot happened this week, and a lot of characters were involved which was the exact opposite of some shows, like Agent Carter. I got the feeling that the writers/directors wanted to pack so much into the episode that we were distracted by the plot line and forgot the fact that some of the characters are just not… right. For example, following last week’s episode, Bellamy and the new Arkers have decided to take matters into their own hands and then Charles Pike is elected as the Chancellor. Now the thing that got me is that Bellamy is a strong guy, a leader, but he’s going back to being the scared and malleable guy that we saw in season 1, the guy whose thinking and opinions can be changed by someone who he knows isn’t always right. We actually had some good character progression going, and now all the kids are being reverted back to their old selves. Not only that, but the 100 was about the hundred kids that get sent down to Earth and how they survived, but now it’s all about the adults changing everything and bring politics into every decision. I think the show is slowly losing the essence of what made it a unique show to begin with. Anyway, the main part of the rest of the episode was Lexa fighting the Ice Prince (who is the Queen’s champion) for the position of Commander. Of course Lexa wins, but rather than killing the Prince, she throws the dagger at the Ice Queen, but the second that happened, I knew I had seen it before. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out which show had the same death, and I’m tempted to say Game of Thrones, but it’s definitely happened before, so please leave a comment below if you know which show and put me out of my confused misery!

Suits E13
Example tres – what is it with episodes this week that were just convoluted and unnecessary?! Basically all that happened in Suits this week was that Rachel’s education at Columbia gets put in jeopardy when the Dean of the Law School threatens to expel her because he heard rumours that Mike sat the LSATs for people and think’s that’s how Rachel gets in. This causes Mike to go all fiancé-crazy and the team realise that he isn’t even being accused of this crime, which means that Gibbs has some additional information and this is not good. Meanwhile, Harvard law students don’t want to come to Pearson Specter Litt so Louis has to start going to other law schools (GAAAASP!) to find new associates.

The Flash E13
This is possibly the only episode in the entire week that had to be complicated, but was still done really well and the writers kept it as simple as possible. Harry, Barry and Cisco go through the last breach into Earth-2 and discover that everything is the opposite as Earth-1. Iris is a detective with the CCPD, Barry is still a forensic investigator and is married to her and Joe is a jazz singer that hates him because she has to work to put Barry through his PhD and put her life on the line. Barry-1 decides to abduct Barry-2 and become Barry-2 to find out more about Zoom when he runs into Killer Frost, Deathstorm and Reverb aka. Caitlin, Ronnie and Cisco who are out to capture him for Zoom. Through a series of unfortunate events, people die and Zoom takes Barry only to put him in the same place Jesse is and taunts him. Now back in Earth-1, after the three go through the breach, it kind of collapses on itself, giving Jay and Caitlin only 48 hours to open it back up to let Barry and Cisco back in, oh shit! In addition to that, there’s an earthquake-making meta wanting to fight the Flash and it’s up to Jay to take Velocity-7 (the speed drug) and stop him. Next episode is going to be very very very interesting!

Arrow E13
Example number 4 of stupidly complicated episodes. I’m going to try and give you the plot of this episode in 3 sentences.

  1. Felicity’s dad wants to have a relationship so Felicity tests him, finds out that he wants to steal Palmer Tech’s tech and she has him arrested.
  2. Team Arrow try to convince Malcolm to give up his League of Assassins power to Nyssa for the elixir to save Thea, only to realise that he’s a selfish and horrible father who needs to have his hand literally chopped off by Olli and his ring of power physically removed from his body in order to save Thea.
  3. Malcolm hates Olli and tells Damian Darhk about his illegitimate son.

Done and done.

Legends of Tomorrow E04
This was actually a rather simple episode but there’s a general trend forming – the team has a plan, all goes to shit, everyone fights and then they all come together to fight evil,. Except not necessarily in this case :/ Kendra and Sara realise that they need each other to discover their winged-warrior-priestess and normal-human sides, and you know what? I really hope that the two of them stick together and become friends, they’re gonna need it in this team of pumped up, testosterone-filled men. The team discover that  Savage is trying to recreate Firestorm in 1968 using a Russian scientist and while trying to get away from the lab, Stein, Palmer and Rory get caught and taken away. Meanwhile, Rory is trying to deal with the Time Council and the bounty hunter trying to kill him. Highlight of the episode was when one of the team members called the bounty hunter Bobba Fett, night made 🙂

How to Get Away with Murder E10
WE’RE BACK! Again, this episode was extremely complicated for no reason (example 5) so imma simplify the shit out of it so as not to waste your time. First the boring stuff – Annalise is out of hospital after Wes shoots her, Laurel tells the rest of the team it was her instead, Asher thinks his dad was murdered and didn’t commit suicide, Caleb Hapstall hates Michaela and Annalise breaks her attorney client privilege when she tells the court in a hearing that Catherine didn’t shoot her parents when testifying against Catherine’s case. The BIIIIIG moment was when Annalise and Caleb convince Catherine to tell lie and confess to the court that she did kill Emily Sinclair and shoot Annalise but drugged thanks to Philip Jesup – Oooohhhhhhhh! Anyway, for me, the most important part of the episode was when Annalise overdoses on Vicodin and imagines an African lady giving her a crying baby and fleeing. Bonnie comes to her call only to find Annalise giving her an empty blanket with no baby. We think that the hallucinations are because of the medication, except Annalise continues hearing the baby crying and at the end of the episode, is seen hugging herself, imagining putting the baby to sleep. Now one question begged to be answered – Is that little baby Wes? Maybe she’s his mother??? But then we get a flashback to a pregnant Annalise 10 years ago meeting a young Wes and his mum at a park – What happened after that?! The episode raised a lot more questions than it answered, but I’m sure happy it’s back!

Ones that weren’t mentioned: Scorpion E16 (Earthquake, team of awkward geniuses stop LA from going boom!), The Big Bang Theory E15 (Bernie is PREGGERS!), NCIS E14 (A lesson on how to solve a case without having proper access to the victim), and New Girl E06 (Megan Fox, more like Mega-Foxy, makes everyone all hot and bothered).

You get to come back! You get to come back!

There was a bit of a lull this week, which worked out perfectly for me because I finally caught up on Orange is the New Black! It was taking me ages to finish it, and I think it was mainly because the episodes are so long (about an hour) and the finale was 90 minutes! But Season 3 ended on a really good note and I can’t wait for my Season 4 binge watch in June. Watch this space to hear my story of how I watched 13 hours of the show and survived 😉 I also started rewatching Breaking Bad, I had watched 2 season and just gotten so bored with it that I stopped, but now that it’s not sooooo busy, I’m powering through. And I have to admit, I smashed out season 3 this week and it is already more interesting, so I can’t wait to see what happens – I can see what all the hype was about!

New Girl E05
Funny funny funny!!!! Winston decides to replace Jess and help Cece pick out a wedding dress which ends in them getting drunk and picking a poofy wedding dress that lights up and crystals all over the bodice – basically a wedding dress that no sane girl would actually want. In the meantime, Nick’s cousin and wife come and as if they can have Nick’s sperm in order to have a baby but everything goes hilariously wrong! The episode really showcases how close Schmidt and Nick are  and how much they really care for each other.

Agent Carter E04
We’re 4 episodes down and I’m already getting sad that it’s almost over 😦 They need to extend this show to make it a normal 24 episode season, but I can see that the episodes are very intricate and need time and effort to make good, so I guess if the quality is this good, then quantity is just something I will have to get over. Anyway, this week was very interesting, we got a flashback to both Whitney and Peggy’s lives. Whitney grew up in a… “not-so-ideal” household and learned that her brain is just worth as much as her pretty face. Meanwhile, Peggy and her brother grow up in a loving house, she’s a code breaker and she’s engaged to an Army officer. Her brother nominates her to join the Special Operations Executive as a spy, but she rejects the offer to be with her fiancée, only to break the engagement when her brother dies during the war and she realises that is who she really is. I think it was good to show some backstory for the girls and it really shows what kind of male-dominated world these two strong and independent women lived in. Anyway, back to the present time (which is still in the 40s), Peggy and Jarvis manage to capture their attacker, Rufus Hunt, and with Sousa, they interrogate him and get information. Somehow, the FBI gets involved, they release Hunt back to Whitney with a listening device and listen to him being “absorbed” by her in front of her husband. I’m very interested to know what she’s actually doing to these victims, it seems to be driven on her emotions rather than something she can control…

Supernatural E12
Bring back the ladies! Sheriff Jody and her adopted daughters, Alex (the ex-vampire feeder) and Claire (Cas’ daughter) come back into the show and the Wincester brothers get pulled into a vampire revenge case. It was just a typical case, and plenty of cute family moments and hilarious awkward ones and I thoroughly enjoyed it 🙂

The 100 E03
Wah-hay for the third episode of the season, I shitload happens! Marcus and Abby come to Clarke and Lexa in the capital, and the Sky Crew become the 13th Clan. But Bellamy, Octavia and the new Arc guy are tipped off that the others are going into a trap at the capital and go off to rescue them. Little does everyone know that the Ice Nation has someone near Mount Weather and sets off a self-destruct sequence at the mountain, killing everyone except Raven and her commander. BOOOM everyone is dead! At the end of the episode, everyone but Clarke return to the Arc to protect their people and get ready for a war and the girl that tipped them off about the trap is shown to return to the Ice Queen and tell them that the plans are set. It was a bit confusing, and this was the simplest way for me to write it – but turns out it wasn’t so complicated anyway. But now the Arc has no medical equipment and supplies and are stuck in the middle of a war with the Ice Nation, they just can’t catch a break!

Suits E12
If you get passed all the complicated lawyer crap that goes on, here’s the general gist: Gibbs (the prosecutor) goes after Donna’s dad to try and get her to save her dad and give up Harvey. Instead, Mike and Harvey decide to give up Mike’s right to dismiss in order to free Donna’s dad. Meanwhile, the firm finds out that Sheila, Louis’ ex-girlfriend, is the one who sent Gibbs the anonymous email, and Jessica hires Jeff Malone, her ex-boyfriend, as her lawyer in case she gets implicated in Mike’s fraud case. I’m not going to lie, I got bored and just started staring and Mike’s on-point hair and all their outfits. I pray to the Corporate Gods up there to bestow me with the wardrobe that Jessica, Donna and Rachel have because every girls dream is to look that fabulous and powerful while climbing the corporate ladder.

tumblr_o22zpmjWxL1u3jj5mo2_400

The Big Bang Theory E14
Amy and Sheldon’s meemaw (grandma) don’t get along, Amy finds out about the engagement ring and Raj flirts with another girl, contemplating his relationship with Emily. Eh wasn’t that funny…

The Flash E12
Hero of the episode was Joe. By far. Don’t even care what others say. In about 2 minutes, he punches Harry and knocks him down and then goes and punches the crap out of Tar Pit, this weeks Meta. It was spectacular! Anyway, the rest of the episode is still pretty interesting – Harry attaches a device to Barry’s suit that removes his Speed Force, leaving him slower and with damaged chromosomes, which results in Joe punching him and the team locking him up. A 2% reduction in Barry’s speed force ends up meaning that Iris gets hurt when the meta attacks the illegal car racing ring that Wally, Joe and Iris are at and what what prompts Harry to tel the team what he did. I think Tom Cavanagh has acted really well in the episode, you really feel for his position what he does what he does, all for his daughter. In reality, a parent will do anything and everything for their child and I think he was great in showcasing that.

Arrow E12
I’m going to assume that they just had a huge budget for this episode because the number of characters they brought back was just ridiculous. Roy comes back as Arsenal, Shado (all the way back in season 1) is back in Ollie’s hallucinations, Nyssa escapes her cell in Nanda Parbat and goes to steal something from Tatsu who’s protecting it. Every 5 minutes, I had to pause the episode, turn to my parents and we had to discuss who it was that came back. But in the story, The Calculator, used Roy to steal tech from various places in order to create an internet nuke, and of course Felicity to the rescue! She also finally realises she can still be a badass in wheelchair, and Thea’s bloodlust starts taking its toll on her. I’m going to give some spoilers away now, so if you don’t want to read, scroll to the gif of Tina and Amy. At the end of the episode we see The Calulator sitting next to Ollie at Palmer Tech watching Felicity give a presentation, only to discover a minute later that he is in fact – wait for it… – FELICITY’S DAD!!!!! OMG WHAAAAAA????? My jaw fell to the ground seeing as he was a ruthless computer tech guy that was out to destroy the city. To say we were shocked was an understatement… Also, Nyssa comes to Ollie and tells him that she has a “lotus” that can save Thea which she will give, once Merlyn has been killed. All very complicated.

Legends of Tomorrow E03
Things don’t go exactly to plan in this episode, surprise surprise, but the team is still figuring out how to work together, so I’ll give them that. Plus it was definitely better than the episode last week, so that’s good too! This week, the team splits up a little:

  • Ray goes into Kendra’s bloodstream to breakdown particles of the dagger that are threatening to kill her with the help of Stein
  • Snart, Rory and Jacks go to steal a gem and give it to Snarts father in 1975 so that he avoids going to jail and beating them
  • Rip and Sara go off to find Savage’s most valued possessions and to retrieve Carter’s body.

We also find out that Savage uses Carter Hall’s blood to keep his most valued followers alive for hundreds of years – creepy AF I know. Anyway, it’s alright episode, it’s still super silly but I guess they want to keep it that way, rather than making it dark and boring from the beginning.

Anyway, that was it for the week, there are a few more shows starting back up next week like Castle and How to Get Away with Murder so make sure you get on to it!!!
